It's actually kinda surprising that there isn't a challenge mode that takes away bolts every time you're hit, then restarts the level when you reach 0 sonic style. Another thing I'd like to see is a mode where enemies kill you in 3 to 4 hits tops, and you have to go retrieve the bolts, dark souls style.
Between the game restrictions and the editing this is super reminiscent of like crank or crank 2 where he’s just constantly on the brink of imminent death. It just adds a layer of extreme tension/suspense not really seen anywhere in else. Was pretty sick

I suppose it’s a good thing the first weapon you get is arguably the best weapon in the game for this challenge. It’s a lot easier to stomach skipping weapons due to the bolts being important to keep a stockpile when you can kill everything that isn’t the largest enemies in a single charge shot in a large radius around you. Only weapons worth considering are the ones that significantly increase your single target damage for bosses.
