you can find sections of George in other comedians' work....be it Bruce (who inspired George), Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Steven Wright, Gallagher, and a list of others who took a specific routine style or mannerism and built onto it their own addition.

Aside from being basically a Philosopher, kind of a Beat-Poet, and a borderline Prophet, George Carlin was the greatest Comedian in history. And I really can't see anyone topping him before we inevitably destroy ourselves.

I started out listening to his comedy albums in the early seventies. I'd seen him on TV, before his HBO specials, and he's funny as hell.
Seeing him live, back in the late seventies, was hysterical. It's not so much what he says but the antics as he says them.

Idk if you two have seen Dr David Martin's Cov1d presentation to the European Union Parliament. How Covid was identified and selected in 1965 for modification by U.S. military industrial complex. A comedian that wanted to be looked at as an artist as well with his words....and made your head scratch a lot. So you did one 12 days ago and I watched all of yours and they've been great. Keep George Carlin up every 3 weeks or so. He's good for mental scrubbing.😊

When you mentioned about evolution it made me think of the fact that somewhere out there there's a planet or planets that have had intelligent life for billions of years longer than Earth.

I love you for your youth, your beauty, your intelligence, your common sense and your open mind, and for the naturalness with which you look at the world, with all its flaws. Every time George Carlin mentions the new paradigm, "Earth + plastic", makes me think that small numbers of bacteria that can biodegrade oil from the oceans and plastic has started to appear.
Population size and efficiency in digestion is too small to make an impact on the amount of plastic around us, but in ten million years there could be large colonies of bacteria that consume plastic, who become source of food for other organisms, who in turn become part of a large echo chain that makes those large accumulations of plastic in the ocean a thriving echo system.
Imagine the irony, humans produce so much plastic our way of living is drowned by it, disappear from the planet and a few million years later life on Earth thrives on the reason of our demise. Similar things have happened before.
When trees appeared, there were no living things who were capable of processing cellulose, so dead trees started accumulating for hundreds of thousands of years, getting to a point dead trees would petrify (probably you've heard of petrified woods, which are the footprint of cellulose from that period), but with time nature evolved microorganisms and insects like termites that can consume cellulose. Nowadays if you see a dead tree in the woods, it decays in a few years, but originally you could have called it an environmental disaster.
From oxygen causing the first mass extinction (cyanobacteria were the original inhabitants of Earth) to planet size disaster from meteorites, life on Earth has adapted with new species, the ones that cannot adapt (and that very well might one day include us) are phased out.
