There is Ganesha and Girimehkala where they talk about being each other doppelganger and/or different form based on local myths where they came from. If you have Cybele in your stock, talking and accepting quest from Attis in Shinjuku will also trigger a unique conversation between them. If you have Alice in stock or party, once you get to Taito, Alice will give you a quest in the Demon Haunt. She will ask for you to bring (aka fuse) Loki and trigger the event in Shinobazu Pond. There are more unique dialogues and possible missable optional quests, you just need to search for them.

The only time Mara was ever referred to as female in the Megaten series was in Strange Journey's compendium entry, which was actually a mistake on the localization's part. Other than that, there is actually nothing that implies that Mara was ever gendered as female in the Megaten series.

Persona is a timeline of SMT where the world isn't constantly trying to reset to zero thanks to Philemon (represented by the blue butterfly). There is some other difference like Nyx in p3, being a reason people get personas etc. Also the monsters are from the sea of souls while in SMT they are literal demons - former gods and demons who lost their power once God ripped their reason from them and cast them out of power. And yes, capital G God. SMT has a lot of Christianity overpowering the other religions as a core theme.

I love the demon interactions in this game. I tried to recruit a Yurlungur, but Adramalech talked to it instead. He complimented Yurlungur on its skin and it was wholesome at first, but it turned into Adramalech wanting to skin Yurlungur 🥲 As you can expect, we ended up fighting
