Hey Boba, I've heard from great sources the following. 1. Ultraman - supermans clone, uses his DNA to help Lex enter the Fortress and gain information. 2. Lex using his intelligence, money and power (the sorcerer) is trying to make his own Metahumans in a lab all to control and make an army with. 3. Metamorpho is under Lexs control at the start of the film and is infact the Kaiju, look at the Kaijus left shoulder same colours/ design as Morpho as are the eyes of the Kaiju as seen in the close up. That is why superman will not destroy the Kaiju as also seen in the trailer.. Love the videos as u know Long time subscriber 😊
@Healinghikesaustralia 🤔**Hmm,I take that some things, especially the first one with a grain of salt,if grains of salt! I think Lex's hatred of Superman is a simple as Lex can't control Superman. All the superheroes in this movie, except for Superman, are all employees of a corporation. That most likely means that they are on a leash and can't act against corporate interests. Superman, on the other hand, is not on anyone's payroll and answers to no one. I'm beginning to think it's possible Lord Tech's superheroes may be under mind control. Afterall, Maxwell Lord has the powers of psychic persuasion. Lex may be against all methumans. He may harbor similar fears as Ben Affleck's Batman: that absolute power is too dangerous in one person's hands. Lex may believe that the very existence of metahumans is a threat to humanity. If Maxwell Lord is employing metahumans, what is he using them for? It's possible he is using them as a private army. Maybe the metahumans are used to uphold foreign policy. Perhaps Superman took exception to the missions they participated in and interferes. I can see that pissing off Maxwell Lord and all other corporations and governments. Luthorcorps is probably the leading weapons and technology manufacturer in the world, like in the comics. Metahumans cost him business, because who needs advanced weapons and military equipment if you can employ metahumans with the same or better results? Lex can't fight Superman or any metahumans with conventional weapons - they are too powerful. But Lex can turn them against each other. He can use their own power against them, using his cloning technology. He can assassinate their character in front of the world to turn the public against them. I think This is where Ultraman comes into play - he is used as a weapon against other metahumans but especially Superman. Lex breaking into the fortress of solitude is probably a fact finding mission and to acquire new technologies. Armed with that information, he can get rid of Superman and all metahumans. I can see James Gunn writing in Lex Luthor's Presidential run into this new DC universe. If Lex can turn the public against metahumans and promise to protect the nation and foreign nations, the people will elect him as President. It's not unlike the world's fear of mutants in Marvel.
That sounds like me everything I do is from love and kindness that's why I love Superman and Jesus and ppl around me always get onto me and try to force me to take ppls money because of the depth I go to for them but that's just who I am deep down inside
I feel like we haven't even seen a glimpse into how diabolical this version of Lex will be yet. Remember, Gunn doesn't hold back with how evil his villains can be like the High Evolutionary torturing animals or Ego impregnating women and then killing them and their children across the universe.
Considering you say that what if Lex murders Ms. Tessmacher after Superman foils his plans and he absolutely loses it? That would really make us terrified of him.
Boba isn't really good at analyzing the trailer. As Superman mourns the death of the robot, his suit is completely burned away. That meant it was after the fight against the Kaju. And when Lex sees Superman, he immediately reacts as if his plan was about to start. Of course, he gets access to the fortress through Ultraman, who is a clone of Superman. Of course it doesn't have to be true, but it is very likely
there's no way it won't be a success, not with Gunn at the helm. Even if the movie is trash, the amount of people wanting to see how this new iteration is will bring in the box office bucks
3:30 i think he might’ve snuck in behind superman or something, then used the engineer or ultraman to take him out. evident by the opening shot of the trailer where he’s been bested in the snow
After being inspired by the show “My Adventures with Superman”, I’ve been reading up on Superman comics, both to quench my appetite for Superman content during the hiatuses between seasons of MAWS and in preparation for the James Gunn movie later this year. In the wake of MAWS, I've been going down this HUGE rabbit hole of Superman media, going out of my way to read more Superman comics and overall expanding my knowledge on his lore in the DC Universe. I have read more Superman books the past two years than I ever have in my entire life! Some of Superman’s mostly highly acclaimed books are ones that I’ve recently read for the very first time: All-Star Superman, John Byrne’s Superman: The Man of Steel, Superman: Peace on Earth, Kingdom Come, Superman for All Seasons, Superman Smashes the Kl*n, Superman: Birthright, Superman: Last Son, Superman: Braniac, Superman: Secret Identity, Superman: Up in the Sky, and numerous single issues and mini-series in between. I just started reading “Superman: Secret Origin” for the first time by the time I’m typing this. I’ve never felt so passionate and so inspired by Superman at any other time in my life. ❤️💙💛
I think at some point in the film while Superman is fighting Ultraman, they both get knocked back at the same time, and Ultraman rips off his mask and we see an identical version of Clark/Superman staring back at him with a pissed off look on his face. I think underneath that mask and glasses is an exact clone of Clark. Maybe that's also how they open the Fortress. It might only open when is senses Kryptonian DNA present. Maybe they're going there to look for all kinds of things, but in the process find an extra suit or have some machine make a suit that looks the same as Superman for Ultraman for the purpose of setting up Superman. Who knows, lol.
3:49 if we’re going off the theory of ultra man being some type of clone of superman then they could use ultra mans dna or whatever the regular Superman does to enter the fortress of solitude
How Luther gets into the fortress of solitude? Maybe only Kryptonians can open it so Superman and Supergirl in this instance. But if Ultraman is a clone of Superman as it’s been rumored it makes sense why he’s with Luther as since he’s a clone the fortress of solitude thinks it’s Superman so the entrance opens for them.
My guess is: big kaiju fight, destruction, JLA coming to reconsile. He is captured by lex, or tuns himself in. Lex clones him or already has ultra man and infiltrates the fortress. Kills the robot. Returns to tell superman. Superman breaks out. A fight happens between him and ultra man. * he flies off to the fortress bloodied. Mourns the robot. A d gets ready to retaliate
I think that the massive key that superman uses to open his fortress is in this story as well. Its something that only a super powered being would be able to carry. So i think ultraman uses the key to unlock the fortress bringing it out in the open.
I think Lex is going to have Ultraman defeat Superman and then have Ultraman pose as Superman. That's why we see him trapped in the box and it's actually Ultraman who gets something thrown at him. I think it's a plot to defame Superman and turn the world against him for his own gain.
I think another aspect of these Lord tech and Lexcorp companies controlling superheroes is that this is before the Justice League is formed. All these companies controlling the good heroes will motivate them to form their own organization, namely the Justice League and perhaps other groups, like the Authority, to form on their own. Despite this being fiction, there's going to be this political and factional battles between groups and companies vying for power and control.
Positive the prologue will be Lex entering the Fortress, stealing the baby kaiju, then swtting his plan to frame Superman in motion. Something tells me Ultraman will serve as a fail safe.
I was watching super man returns the other day and the ending of that is so good seeing superman rushed into the hospital on a bed I loved it the film definitely is better than I remember and think he is my favourite if not second favourite after Reeves just finished watching them before returns and he did amazing as Clark and superman I love how superman waves and says good night most of the time so iconic
Great vid. I can’t wait for the next sneak peak on the 9th of Feb. and of course the movie. Wanna hear the full score so bad. The piece of it from the motion poster and how it could connect to the one from the trailer makes it a potential masterpiece. SUPERMAN
I think lex infiltrates the Fortress during the Kaiju attack because Superman has the same damage on him while holding the robot as he does when the can is thrown at his head.
Or it’s just the same suit that he’s wearing through the whole film as it supposedly takes place over days/week (similar to The Batman). I think the suit will just accumulate wear and tear as the film progresses like the Arkham games
@Francescojg No, it's the same dust and wear on it, plus he has the same black marks on his face. And, if that's early on in the movie, but the Ultraman fight is later, he either gets the suit repaired or replaced.
@@Sole-Knightmare I still think he keeps the same suit throughout the film. The burn marks on the suit are even evident in that night scene with him and Lois in the city apartment
i have a problem with lex's motif for hating superman. so lex sees superman as someone who's born with power he doesnt earn, unlike him who has to work his butt off to attain his position. like salieri being envious of mozart. i can get behind that IF superman is the sole superbeing in that universe. but in metropolis alone we can see there are plenty of superbeings, all being more super than lex. lex even employs a few himself. so that basis for hating superman just doesnt make sense to me.
No, Lex hates Superman because he has all of that power and he uses it altruistically. He'd respect Superman if he was using his power to be a tyrant. He also hates Superman because he feels that an alien fixing so many of the world's problems hinders humanity's capacity for growth and evolution. An alien also coming into his town and showing him up is a huge reason why Lex hates Superman.
@@Elemental_Entity First of all, it isnt a new trailer, it's the same one with new scenes. Second, it's confirmed thats a new scene of Lex at the Fortress of Solitude. Check your facts.
@@peterlenham3180 I did check my facts bro. I looked into and researched the channel. Do Your research. The trailer was released by a YT channel that makes fake trailers!! What don't you get??? NOBODY at WB confirmed this because it's FAKE. It came out 2 days ago, they have other fake Superman trailers on their page as well. Nobody mention Lex Luther at the fortress either. That's Lex in the trailer is AI. How thick are you? They would not release a second trailer less than a month later with a few new shots and crappy music. If you can't tell by the music and bad AI that it's fake than common since should let you realize WB did not publish it so it is 100% NOT authentic .

@Elemental_Entity Thats because its not a second trailer, but the same one with new scenes. I doubt it's gonna get more views with just a few scenes. THAT is common sense. I'm 51, so not a kid. Maybe you should listen to the FACTS from someone who isnt a novice to all this, like you presume me to be. With respect, I don't need to take advice from someone like you thanks. I was watching films before you were born no doubt.
sounds like superheroes have been corrupted by money. Lord and Luthor both wanting heroes to work for them not freelance. Not quite The Boys level but not JLA either.
What if the reason he is there is to get to (I forget the exact name) the place where he holds his relics and enemies and that’s where the Solaris-like creature is from that he then later unleashes on Metropolis. And when Superman arrives he finds the smashed robot and then they use some kryptonian weapon that causes him to crash into the snow like the start of the trailer. And then maybe the reason the public hates him by the end is because word gets out the Solaris creature is from Superman
Can Ulysses beat Superman's ass, like we saw in the trailer? If not, let's just accept it's Ultraman, who, shares Superman's DNA, that can take him down. The toys say "Ultraman". Scoopers said "Ultraman" was in the movie at the beginning of filming. Dude is the same height/build as Superman and his face is concealed for what we believe are pretty obvious reasons. The visual similarities with a certain iteration of Doomsday. Its Ultraman.
hey boba i think luthor learns about superman and finds out that superman is a bit weaker at night so he decides to use the modify ship to fight him and he probable has kryptonite to have an edge to him
I'm looking forward to seeing Hoult as Lex. I love Michael Rosenbaum and Jesse Eisenberg for the versions and I'm looking forward to seeing what Hoult is like. Only thing I've not been a fan of so far is the cinematography.
How many times can you have a criminal genius break into a guys home, steal IP and use it against the homeowner before the homeowner decides to seriously secure that home?
HEY BOBA! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, BY THE WAY I WANNA TEEL YOU A DETAIL OR MAYBE SOMETHING ELSE, IN SUPERMAN COLORFUL MOTION POSTER RELEASED BEFORE THE TRAILER, THERE IS NO YELLOW BORDER ON SUPERMAN LOGO WHILE IN TRAILER IT IS. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS . PLEASE TELL.
I originally didn’t think Nicolas would be a very good lex similarly to Jesse eisenberg level but after seeing him in the trailer he carries the evil genius look very well which was my concern. Btw wtf were they thinking making Jesse eisenberg lex in bvs he just sounds like a dumb choice and Jesse did his best in the film but ultimately just didn’t incite any real fear
I bet Lex loses control Seloris and needs Superman to stop it. That is why in the scene in Lois apartment Superman seems to be taking it easy. I believe the citizens of Metropolis have lost faith in Superman and Lois has to pep talk him to get him out there.
The idea of the heroes in Superman 2025 being manipulated by corporations and losing their “superhero autonomy” seems like a very obvious commentary on the Snyderverse/DCEU in hindsight and how the regime at Warner Bros at the time only cared about cashing in on the hype surrounding The Avengers/MCU and didn’t really care if the DCEU movies were good adaptations of the comics or if the the DC heroes, themselves, were depicted as good role models (i.e. Zack Snyder’s depictions of a reluctant, god-like Superman, a murderous Batman, etc.).
so we are suppose to believe the kaiju is just some natural beast of earth superman fights.. or better theory lex gets universal info from fortress of solitude and creates/releases the kaiju.. lex then shows evidence it came from supermans lair/tech, and people turn on superman
I disagree with the timeline. Seeing the scene where Superman is bent over and holding the arm of his destroyed robot, I think the distraction that allowed Lex into the fortress of solitude was the kaiju. You can see in the scene where Superman is tending to his fallen robot. He has charred remains on his suit as similar to the damage his suit took in the scene with Green Lantern and walking in front of the disgruntled metropolis citizens after the fight. @bobatalks
I imagine that the land that the fortress sits on is pretty valuable. Plot confirmed! Lex wants the land. Another land grab movie. I'm kidding, of course.
I’ve really missed having DC related stories to be excited about and Supes in specific AND be here for your channel my friend I had recently reread a comic from the silver age where the coterie of Kryptonite variants had one version..I can’t remember white or gold but this color caused him to change into a dragon or Kaiju K defo don’t think Gunn would use that past idea 1:1, but I feel he (Luthor) with the B&E of the fortress finding items maybe diff Kr-ite “sorcer”ize all these diff false flag events to tarnish the public opinion of Big Blue Having the Engineer and his intellect seems like things could be chimeric like the kaiju has deleterious effects on Superman as why he is failing so miserably to stop these threats w/o enduring hurt
It's too bad to me that James Gunn is taking this approach for The DCU's Superman first solo film cause since The World is distrustful of heroes & a hero that's an alien & as powerful as Superman, a Superman For All Seasons & Superman: Grounded inspired film without all these characters would be perfect.
highly unlikely and nothing to back this up is Superman: For Tomorrow. lex steals the phantom zone projector and makes half the world population vanish and blames Superman
Hey boba, help me out here cause it seems like I'm going crazy here. Do you think the suits of the soldiers firing at Mr terrific in the superman trailer looks kinda similar to that of the soldiers of pokolistan. Btw love your videos a lot. I was a fan of DC already but watching your vids have made me more of a fan than I used to be
The film looks desperate. The issue is there’s either too many side villains, or side heroes or just unnecessary cameos such as Supergirl. It looks like a remix of MOS & Superman Returns therefore it’s another nostalgic retread. The studio played it too safe with Superman Returns, took a bold risk with MOS & now they are trying way too hard with this film. Looks fun, Mr Terrific looks interesting. Hoult as Luthor is solid casting and no doubt he will steal the show. Rachel Bronsnan as the new Lois might be the sexiest Lois yet, she’s just got it. Cornersweet will be fine in the role. The costume is fine even with the underpants because superman is supposed to look goofy. Action looks sweet. It will be a fun ride I’m sure but I guarantee it will be in vain. The mistake the studio has made here is they are overcompensating for MOS. Trying too hard to erase Synder’s work/legacy. If you go from making a film that most people rejected (dark superman) to making a film that they think most people want (friendly superman with dogs, kids & super-friends) then they have already lost sight of what makes a good superman film.

How is this not the same story as MoS+BvS? Don't get me wrong. The movie looks good, but, soooooooo much of this story is the same as the first two Snyder DCEU movies. Exactly the same? No. But, the same as in there must be no other way to tell a Superman story. (I don't know. Batman's my guy.)
The more I think about it the more think this is gonna end up being a version of bizzaro. The first image we see is a darker suit, then in the trailer that scene where Superman appears to be cold and Lois hugs him without any reaction it makes sense that could be a clone of Superman Lex made to defame him that slowly starts to deteriorate and ends up being bizzaro by the end.

It's a fake trailer dude. Look at the view count and the channel that released it, it's fake.
I think that it'll be a lot smaller though, maybe it'd be like the Mjölnir - too heavy, but not gigantic.
6:35 it’s wild that there actually is going to be people complaining about Superman getting hurt without kryptonite
Love your content Boba! Keep it up. I could honestly watch you break down the color scheme of the trailer 🤣
The ultraman character could be fully covered perhaps because a yellow sun weakens him. Would track with some tellings of the multiverse versions.
Maybe the fortress reveals itself because Ultraman has Kal-El's DNA?
I think Lex is going to have Ultraman defeat Superman and then have Ultraman pose as Superman. That's why we see him trapped in the box and it's actually Ultraman who gets something thrown at him. I think it's a plot to defame Superman and turn the world against him for his own gain.
So what life been wondering about is why isn’t the engineer metallic
Great video! I have a theory. If Ultraman is a clone of Superman, then perhaps the fortress responds to his presence. Thank you for your awesome work!
Ultra man is superman's clone. The fortress would respond to him
I think another aspect of these Lord tech and Lexcorp companies controlling superheroes is that this is before the Justice League is formed. All these companies controlling the good heroes will motivate them to form their own organization, namely the Justice League and perhaps other groups, like the Authority, to form on their own. Despite this being fiction, there's going to be this political and factional battles between groups and companies vying for power and control.
Lex be like I found your nest bird
It's a fake trailer bro.
This whole video review is a review of a fake trailer with AI
If Superman has been around for a few years, I am curious to why Lex decides now is that time to get him?
Positive the prologue will be Lex entering the Fortress, stealing the baby kaiju, then swtting his plan to frame Superman in motion. Something tells me Ultraman will serve as a fail safe.
I was watching super man returns the other day and the ending of that is so good seeing superman rushed into the hospital on a bed I loved it the film definitely is better than I remember and think he is my favourite if not second favourite after Reeves just finished watching them before returns and he did amazing as Clark and superman I love how superman waves and says good night most of the time so iconic
I think lex is responsible for the energy ball in the city
Superman was wearing that burned suit while mourning Kelex. So my guess is Lex used the Kaiju attack as a diversion to get into his fortress.
Great vid. I can’t wait for the next sneak peak on the 9th of Feb. and of course the movie. Wanna hear the full score so bad. The piece of it from the motion poster and how it could connect to the one from the trailer makes it a potential masterpiece. SUPERMAN
I figured Luther was just there to walk Krypto.
Boba what’s your Lex ranking so far? (Live action)
Break it down for us Boba!!!!!!!! You made some great points I never thought of!!!!
Well if ultra man is a replica or a clone with Superman's dna maybe that's the key to the fortress of solitude opening up
I think lex infiltrates the Fortress during the Kaiju attack because Superman has the same damage on him while holding the robot as he does when the can is thrown at his head.
That makes a lot of sense!
@@BaithNa yea except superman is not the only altruistic superbeing in dcu, nor the only alien, hence my point.
@@ianw0ngThe key difference is Supes works alone and doesn't want to work under a corporate overload.
Maybe Lex takes something the Fortress of Solitude, that enables him to create his power suit?
@Elemental_Entity Fake? Er no.
If you can't tell by the music and bad AI that it's fake than common since should let you realize WB did not publish it so it is 100% NOT authentic
.
@@peterlenham3180 Oh look, another fake trailer from the same page 10 days ago, you think that AI garbage is real too?
3 trailers in less than a month for a movie that wont come out for another 6 months?

Do YOUR Research!
Thats definately Bizzaro under that mask
Henry Cavill
@jaymendezz nahh definitely not him
You think it’s gonna be too wierd if it is some bizzaro or clone and we see David under the mask?
@charlesquirtoz724 that would make sense and Luther would use the clone to tarnish superman's name
Yeah, I think this film is the origin story for Bizarro in the DCU.
sounds like superheroes have been corrupted by money.
Lex is going to take stuff from the fortress creatures, tech, weapons.
In doing so, possibly creating the power suit?
Ultraman has to be David and a Superman clone
Hey Boba, can I request a video of you comparing the original release slate of DCU Ch. 1 and now? Would've want to know your thoughts as well, thanks.
hey boba i think luthor learns about superman and finds out that superman is a bit weaker at night so he decides to use the modify ship to fight him and he probable has kryptonite to have an edge to him
Ultraman will be a iteration of a Bizarro
Yeah Boba I would love to hear more videos like this. And what or who this Ultraman really is
I'm looking forward to seeing Hoult as Lex.
Yes
I hope they have Lex Luthor with his battle suit on.
Today...is the day...I am subscribing. (And yes, I already figured I was!) ;]
so we are suppose to believe the kaiju is just some natural beast of earth superman fights.. or better theory lex gets universal info from fortress of solitude and creates/releases the kaiju.. lex then shows evidence it came from supermans lair/tech, and people turn on superman
@bobatalks
I wanna know how they got Superman's DNA to begin with.
I imagine that the land that the fortress sits on is pretty valuable. Plot confirmed! Lex wants the land. Another land grab movie. I'm kidding, of course.
Str Rock is happening? True
Of course you realize THIS MEANS WAR !
I’ve really missed having DC related stories to be excited about and Supes in specific AND be here for your channel my friend
I had recently reread a comic from the silver age where the coterie of Kryptonite variants had one version..I can’t remember white or gold but this color caused him to change into a dragon or Kaiju
K defo don’t think Gunn would use that past idea 1:1, but I feel he (Luthor) with the B&E of the fortress finding items maybe diff Kr-ite “sorcer”ize all these diff false flag events to tarnish the public opinion of Big Blue
Having the Engineer and his intellect seems like things could be chimeric like the kaiju has deleterious effects on Superman as why he is failing so miserably to stop these threats w/o enduring hurt
MISTER WORLDWIDE!! DALE!
I haven’t seen you in foreveeeer
Hello there
He went there to screw with Superman's thermostat for shit and giggles
It's too bad to me that James Gunn is taking this approach for The DCU's Superman first solo film cause since The World is distrustful of heroes & a hero that's an alien & as powerful as Superman, a Superman For All Seasons & Superman: Grounded inspired film without all these characters would be perfect.
I think what he retrieves from the fortress is brainiac as an AI. Idk why?
highly unlikely and nothing to back this up is Superman: For Tomorrow. lex steals the phantom zone projector and makes half the world population vanish and blames Superman
Why does ever TH-camr excited about this movie have to photoshop the images of Superman in the thumbnails, especially the suit? 😂😂😂
Hey boba, help me out here cause it seems like I'm going crazy here. Do you think the suits of the soldiers firing at Mr terrific in the superman trailer looks kinda similar to that of the soldiers of pokolistan.
Btw love your videos a lot. I was a fan of DC already but watching your vids have made me more of a fan than I used to be
They're green and purple so they may be related to Lex
In set photos we saw container and stuff with the Luthorcorp logo and the green/purple shouts Lex too.
I just have to say. i truly HATE the superman clone / Ultraman idea. I'm Just exausted with the Evil Superman Trope. But, what can we do
Looks more like hitman than lex Luthor
Luthor's Big Bald Plan
I can’t wait for what is lex luthors big plan in superman it’s going to be amazing and all the awesome things that is happening in the movie as well

Do you think at the end of Superman Luthor could be in Jail and Amanda Waller pulls him out to help defeat Superman
I am overwhelmed
