    I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes two years ago and have been off metforin and gilcizides (sp?) for about 18 months by restricting my carbohydrate intake. Recently I have moved to zero carbs and have seen vast improvements in my health and weight loss from being in a controlled and monitored Ketosis state.

    i am trying to understand some things with ketones. i have hiperglicimia, was around 135-145. i started water days 24 or better to say 36 h and mu glicemia is down to 110-115 , i have 2 days of water per week, and i keep it like 6 weeks now. i want to try the 3 days of water, and i understand from most of studies that after 3-4 days the ketones are entering in their role. bcs i don;r do this under observation from a doctor, i am little scared about what can happen if the ketones are more than my body can use or my body is used too. it can be worse and i can make myself harm instead of good?
