4 years completed and my kwid is still brand new... Of course I'm maintaining it so much... Waxing ... Ceramic coating and all... Still got the new car smell and driving is spot on ❤️
what is on road price in Mumbai?
The 1.0L version is more weight than 0.8L..but company say all r same as in 0.8L..but i confuse,suspension change nahi hoga toh kiya hoga,,itna weight kiya suspension sambhal payega,,

Its a shame that we Indians still look for mileage over stability. Cars like Kwid and i10 fail disastrously in NCAP crash test with zero scores. Highly weak chassis, no twin airbags, no ESP, nothing to male the car safe. When would Indians be educated enough to give preference to stability rather than bike like mileage from a car. Even my Honda City has plastic rattling everytime.
Sir for the same reason you mentioned we do need safer cards with stronger chassis and better brakes so as to minimize road accidents and deaths. Because of unsafe cars and poor education for buying stronger cars, India has one of the highest road fatalities in the world. It's time now to get educated and atleast spread awareness about road safety rather than keep on saying India is not developed and this n that. If we continue to have this mentality then India will never grow into a mature car market. What is stopping you and me to spread awareness. But instead I see a strong resistance in regards better cars on India roads. Car companies and govt needs to figure out a way that even basic car models come equipped with safety features like Airbags and ABS without sky rocketing prices of cars.

Raghav Sehgal To equip a car with better safety features, manufacturers sometimes compromise with exteriors and mileage. As a buyer, we shouldn't blame car manufacturers for making cars low in safety and high in features and mileage as we itself are responsible for creating such market. So as a buyer we’ll need to change our priority from more mileage and less safety to more safety and less, if not, good mileage. Wait for another few months and every car manufacturing in India will have airbags as the basic facility.
As long as you follow traffic rules religiously there would not be any accident, its not the question of shame but affordability...
VSP CUBER I choose to differ with you. This is the typical Indian mentality. “I’m a seasoned driver an I can ignore safety guidelines and don’t need safety features”. Said my previous driver. And he is in coma now. To begin with, What if someone slams into your car from behind? Are you fine with slamming your head hard against the dashboard?

Don't know if u remember I said it when kwid launched 800.. they should have launched 1000.. all car manufacturers should shift base to 1000cc.. eon should have been 1000 from start.. problem with launching 1000 after 800 is that it is considered an update.. now Maruti must bring 1000cc Swift to fight this and price below this!!

Cc does matter but fuel efficiency comes first in india for locals but middle class handls upto 2000cc

Most hero cycles have no gears. Some cycles have 30 gears and road bikes can go 100KPH.

Alto dethroned ,never thought that was possible.
jerryl davis lol still alto models are no 1 in india,still alto k10 is better in day to day performance than the kwid.
Alto K10 is still selling more, and it's quality and drivability is still better. Kwid has the better feature set.

raja lodh celerio is much better than this.The only highlight is the entertainment system don't get cheated in that

I am thinking to buy this car, can you please let me know about the complaints like:
1.Water leakage inside to front foot rest area through windscreen (Heavy rain and washing)?
2. Drope in mileage like from 23 or the claimed one for RK1.0. to 13 - 14?
3. Can low weight of car and 3 wheel nuts cause an invitation to an accident?
4. Is Maruti k10 is better to buy over this?
5. What about the breaks of cars? I heard there is something wrong with it too.
Please reply me as soon as possible before I book it. Please! I am very confused....

I Am Rahul who said kwid is a good car i clocked 23650km in one year no issues things what i didn't like is the brakes not good and sometimes the engine noise irritates, other than that its a good go at the speed of 140 kmph it was stable
+Autocar India you always test and compare the cars y can u do after sales, services and cost of owner ship because thats the place where Manufacture Really earns i feel

why do u think i should be buying Kwid AMT and not Wangon R AGS which is more trusted and bigger ?
I own a manual Wagon R and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I have read in some reviews that the kwid(. 8)has some vibrations in low revs. Best thing to do would be to take a long test drive of both the cars and go with the one which makes you happy.
if you are a tall person say 5'10 and above then there is no car better than wagon r in the price point, but petrol mileage is not very great but cng option is worth it in City conditions.

Bawajina baaiscope, dont waste your time and ours do some real life drag races, load a typical family and lug a mile in the car, pitted against the industry stalwarts, all your run of the mill one point oh's. We can all join you in lauding the indigenous effort in ensuring that the glove-box latch continues to be made in the USA/EU!.

I don't know why but I believe that the Maruti Suzuki Celerio is a better option than the kwid.
i dont think a twin cylinder diesel engine would do any good be it on the highway or in the traffic

Tiago is more expensive
Kwid pick up and mileage is worst than any car. It's mileage goes highlights 18 even in 800 engine and it's the truth.
Don't go with Kwid alto and Hyundai is a better choice

It's French. So probably not reliable and probably has attitude issues as well.
No i have Renault duster for last 3 years ,,superb engine , technically far far superior then maruti , good after sale service ..renault with kwid is now here to stay in india
