Molino - Faff (Live studio session)

For Molino's follow up to their 2021 album 'lo and behold' the band have chosen to take a step back to simpler times. Farewell nasty synths and overtuned autotune, welcome warm brass and bronze vocals, the recipe proven to be the bands signature dish.
Choosing to record the album in one room, and limiting themselves to only a few takes, the band has created a grittier version of themselves while still allowing to let the beauty of their songs shine through.
Throughout the band's ten year history, they have always had a connection with film and this EP is no exception. Accompanying the EP are four live videos, giving the audience a behind the scenes glimpse of the recording process.
The sparse new arrangements feature special guests Wendy Palomeque and Daniel de Moraes on marimba and acoustic guitar, adding new colours to Molino's already rich tapestry of sounds.
Molino's fifth studio recording is an EP for quiet contemplation.
