Brooke, I just love your family. I thought Dusty was very quiet but his personality showed through on this video. Your boys are just lovely. Theyre all so nice, I especially love little Kylen when he faints. Of course, your personality just shines through. I've thoroughly enjoyed being on vacation with you all. We call toad in the hole Hollywood eggs. I’d never heard of them until I met my mother in law. It might be worth a trip from Alabama just to go to that Target! lol Great buys❤
We call ours eggs in a basket. We love to camp but we don’t have a camper right now so I am enjoying camping through you all! Isn’t food so much better when you are camping?!?
Yes! We live here, on the Idaho side of the Tetons. Just over the mountain from Jackson Hole. This is shoulder season, aka mud season. This is when local businesses take a break before the busy winter ski season. Absolutely gorgeous time of year! So glad you are visiting our area! We have 1 grocery store and a family dollar in our area as well. Nearest Walmart is 45 minutes away, sams club and other grocery stores are 1 hr 20 minutes so.... we have to make the most of our shopping trips for sure! Plus the road often closes in the winter, so "prepping" is a way of life here.
Looks like fun! We have a tradition that we get a Christmas ornament on every vacation (usually with the location name on it) so when we decorate we can reminisce.

Seeing your little boy holding his Dad's hand made me think of that saying,they hold your hand for a little while ,your heart forever.❤️Some things for 1.25 is not a bargain like the paper plates.😃I don't know if you have ever been where you don't have any groceries and don't know where your going to get any,but it doesn't matter what you have in your home or how much it cost ,if your cupboards and frig are empty you don't have anything,and your house feels empty.I am so glad y'all were a le to get your groceries.

Footage at the end was breathtaking. That lone Buffalo looked massive! Trek on, Family. Your sons will have this memory to cherish for a lifetime! My parents took me to Colorado when I was a kid and I still remember that 100 years later as one of the best times in my life. We also took a trip, several years later, down to your neck of the woods, the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Absolutely loved it there!

If you want to stretch the taco meat further, you can also cook rice with salsa and beef broth and when it's all soaked up add it to the meat & beans. Delicious!!
I leave the grease in my taco meat and add a couple of cups of rice AND a can of beans. Then I divide it into four freezer containers and tonight's dinner. Ten servings out of a pound of beef.

We started a tradition when our kids were younger to let them get postcards as souvenirs. They were cheap, and can go in a scrap book or photo album along with pics from the trip and they last a lifetime. We have found some very interesting postcards over the years.

That place is amazing. My Husband had two things on his bucket list, to see Yellowstone and Mt Rushmore. He never made it but I want to scatter some of his ashes at both places before I die.

Man! I am always blown away by the size of the Dollar Trees that are local to you, so if that one is bigger than you're used to, it MUST be huge! The Dollar Trees here in the Pacific Northwest are always tiny. I can't believe the variety y'all always seem to have compared to mine.

We honeymooned in Jackson hole in 1998. Stayed in Cowboy village in February. Lots of things were closed but the snowmobiling was fantastic!

I used to ski Jackson Hole every year with the Far West Ski Association for a big race. I really miss those days. I know all those shops all to well! Oh, I can't forget the Cowboy Bar!

SO SO THRILLED a local IGA had an incredible deal on their brand Mac and cheese $.48 ! In addition making traditional Mac and cheese I can use it in Cheeseburger Soup, Casseroles , separate the Pasta to use in different meals and the cheese on homemade Pizzas.

We grew up calling them "one-eyed sandwiches" in my family. Also, the sign in the bathroom is for tourists from places where the toilets are more like a hole in the floor that you squat over. So they really need instructions for sit-down toilets, just like we would need signs that say, "DOn't sit down on this toilet. Squat over it and put your TP in the trashcan. :-) Different strokes for different folks.

My sisters and I just went to VA Beach last weekend and because it was after season things were a bit cheaper. The Neptune Festival was going on so I got sucked into all the crafts and homemade jewelry and food trucks!! It was so much fun though!! The sand sculptures were incredible!!! I miss huckleberries so much!!! They grew wild when I was kid and we always picked a freezer carton full to take to my aunt that lived in Texas!! They don’t grow here anymore 😢
We always call them egg in the nest. And we use something like a biscuit cutter or a small glass to make a round hole in the center for the egg and we toast the circles we cut out to go with the egg.😊😊😊 Darn it now I'm hungry, haha. Blessings from Central Florida.

When my son was younger his Step Dad implemented a new dinner rule, "You have to try one bite if you don't like it then you can say, "I tried it." Imagine my surprise that from that moment on he loves salmon patties, green beans, and Jambalaya. He has requested that twice in the last 3 weeks. 😉
