Agreed. AMVs can have that impact. I found a band/song I liked because I watched an AMV that used it (band: The Rasmus, song: In the Shadows). This was before things like Shazam could just tell me what the song was. I had to search based on lyrics and stuff. I know that Sum 41 got me pumped up, and Naruto got me pumped up, so I felt like the would go together nicely.
Still think Rock Lee won this one.....

You should have added when rock lee used the secondary lotus it would have made this video even better. Either way this is probably the best amw i have ever seen fantastic i almost started crying no joke. The music is fantastic so is the fight this is just so beast!

yo this is an amazing amv, the creator of this vid will probably never see this but wow, this really is incredible to me. It's got one of my favorite songs and favorite fights of naruto and it was just blended so well with cutscenes to the music. Thumbs up.
It's almost nearing 2 decades & counting after the release of OG- NARUTO series. Rock lee vs Gaara is still the most unforgettable & iconic anime battle in history. I'm still here rewatching it again & again.
It's sort of an interesting failure Kishimoto pulled off. Somehow, someway, he managed to make nearly ever character that wasn't the main character more interesting then the main character. Gaara alone completely blows Naruto out of the water, as does Lee.
honestly? a lot of anime do that... especially shounen anime .. sometimes it ruins the anime completely for me.

Yeah but at least they had some screen time. Not like for example Neji who complettly vanished after his fight with Naruto just to appear at the end of the war and die ._. that was stupid. Or Choji who had 1 big entrance in the War and than disappeared too. Or Shino, Ino, Kiba and the other Genins (except Team 7, Hinata and Shikamaru) who no one care about. After all everyone beside Kakashi and Team 7 got completly useless in the last fight. Thats why i more prefer Finals like FMA Brotherhood where EVERYONE fights together. Everyone has his task, his abilitys and his place in the last battle and all fight together

I've seen just about every episode of this anime, including Shippuden, and that look on Gaaras face when Lee takes shit to another level @ around 1:12 is the most gratifying moment in the entire series. Lee really makes you want to root for him in this fight.

Man some serious throwback and nostalgia with this video. Damn 2009 when it was uploaded, one of my favorite fights in the whole series.
never made sense that gaara even survived this. no matter how strong his sandarmor could possibly be, Lee was so strong that just running destroyed that marble/rock floor.

To be fair, the weights he was using did way more than break the floor.
also that armor had to have impact resistance... i mean it doesn't matter how strong the armor is if it's a punch cause the blow will still hit, i found the whole armor thing bs tbh, lee should've won that T_T
you guys are looking at this the wrong way.Rock Lee nearly beat a guy naruto barely beat.Rock Lee was nearly on par with Naruto and Kurama on his own.
Nomad Hakuna Matata yeah but in this fight gaara didn't go full power thus lee should've been able to beat him easily but cause gaara is important to the story they didn't allow it T-T (they actually said that gaara was supposed to lose this battle and that's why he went mad but they in the end changed it to this)
This could be seen as an allegory for fighting depression. XD

Agreed, Gaara is much weaker than he seems, and based on the eight gates power lee had Gaara shouldve been dead at that point, especially last punch who couldve punched through him for sure.
@@hohrhamikaiolaf464 lee was ridiculously fast, he couldnt draw out the tailed beast power so fast... It takes time, even if lets say he had to use 1 tails power, his half transformed form wouldn't save him since that form could get hurt by NARUTO...
