Bruce, just a personal update. My stepdad passed away from cancer at the beginning of this month. It was a 3 and a half year battle, and he put up one hell of a fight. He was the best person and a even better dad. The funeral is tomorrow and I'm just beside myself rn. It shouldn't have been him. He didn't deserve to end that way but I guess at least he isn't suffering anymore. You would've gotten on great with him, Bruce. 😭 Anyway, I'll be ok, I always am. This video was a nice reprieve for me. You always cheer me up with your humour and banter. 😊

The restaurant was actually super clean. The owner had been paying a waste disposal company to pump the grease trap every 6 weeks. Turns out the waste disposal company was pumping out the wrong grease trap! What a mess, literally! Haha Thanks so much for watching mate!

I have never seen a more chocka blocked drain grease trap, glad you are on the job cause I don't think a normal plumber would touch this with a 10ft pole, And the fact that you want the restaurant owner to make money speaks volumes about your service to the community. In my humble opinion, I know you're trying to be the best cleaner you can be, but in a situation this bad you can't let the owner pressure you into rushing to let him open again. You didn't neglect to have the grease trap drained for years, if it takes you 4 days to get it unblocked, that's how long it takes, he should just be happy his stuff is salvageable.

The store owner did. Bruce explained in another video that they DID pay for a company to take care of the grease trap every 4 weeks. Too bad they did the WRONG ONE.

Cant wait for part 2 😊😊😊 Amazes me that when i was younger i spent about 10 years working in food establishments and never knew about grease traps till your vids (and the UK has a rule like in Australia that there has to be a grease trap). Wouldnt mind but some of the places i worked were intense re cleaning but never remember any of us cleaning out the grease trap (noticed many people hinting resturaunt must be dirty cos the grease trap is, maybe the restuarunt staff rely on the waste company to maintain the trap so they didnt realise it was so bad). Bruce! Let me tell you mate I bloody appreciate you, You make a mess and you clean it up afterwards like a true professional. Both Ollie and Yourself have set the standard of what I would expect from a professional. Unlike the plumber that did some work at the neighbors, they left a mess that can only be described as a trail of soggy toilet paper and waste matter. It runs down the neighbors driveway, across the footpath and down the road. No attempt at a clean up and the neighbors were livid, they are an elderly retired couple in their 80s.

Setting myself up with a little frosty along with some pumpkin-flavored sweet stuff, I've settled in to watch a successful drain clearing.
