What a lovely video, its being our age that makes us think of our youth and how things and places have changed. l remember Percy Thrower that used to be a name l was called at school hahaha 👍
Wow, as a boy I lived across the valley from you Fair””””d Lane, then when first married into The Tyn close even closer , then after watching this video I recognised area as live now in Areley Kings and shoot in the area you rode , today
Moved to stourport from inner city Birmingham (s/hole very rough) in 1969 and was paradise, the parks the river, sea scouts, youth clubs, a grammar school. It was like dying and going to heaven. Ran out of steam for me when was 20 as nowt to do. But very happy youth there. Not such a nice peaceful place now I believe
Hi, your channel's just popped up in my suggestions so had a look at some of your vids. and nice to see some of the roads I like to ride along , I noticed the Lenchford pub on the way to Stourport , we used to do a bike rally there till it closed a few years back (is it open now?) , I'm a bit older than you and still camping at rallies 😊 Anyhow , you've got another subscriber 👍 ,,, who kows I might see you out and about one day

Thanks for watching ...I will👍
Nice one DJ, It's quite therapeutic to visit the areas you were brought up and see how much or how little they've changed...
Thanks Henry, you're quite right 👍
Still plenty of rich folk around by the looks of it -- great trip down memory lane for you -- enjoyed it, thanks.
Thanks Stephen ... yes a wealthy set has moved in over the years and people like me have moved on.... thanks for comment.
I was born in 1960 too. I think exactly like you, in fact after having owned more than 20 motorcycles I now enjoy my cl 500. Greetings from Italy
1960 ...A good year ! Thanks for watching 😊

It's a small world !... I used to live in Areley Kings myself years ago (Redstone Lane)

It's not too bad , I know plenty who live there and have not heard many bad things .. much like any town these days though.
Holt Fleet Hotel floods virtually every year but manages to stay open.
Didn't know that , thanks Simon .
I have a 2016 CB500X and it's fitted. I'm considering a CL so pondering the scene !
Great video thank you 👍
Thanks Ricky ...appreciate it.
Stourport on Severn??? My cousin owns a B&B there! I'll be there in October. Small world (I'm in the States)
My home town ! .. I have a video riding round on a little tour .

Forgot to say I'm probably at Trimply vintage show tomorrow , usually a good show
That's great thanks for subscribing, hope we catch up some time . the Lenchford is open now yes ..I used to go to a VW car meet there many years ago !
Quick question David, does the CL have the H.I.S.S. ignition system ?
No I don't believe so ... i think that was a system on older Honda's ? ...at least I had it on a Hornet 900 in 2004.
Sorry, but those narrow, high hedged lanes are the last place I want to be, give me the open, sweeping A and B roads. I'm 76 by the way!
Well I do both ... it's more the swarms of Sunday sports bikes I try and avoid !
