awww, thats a shame. I live in Australia but I went to high school in Wolverly. Watching you ride the Bridgenorth road accompanied by your straight talking commentaries was a breath of fresh air and dose of nostalgia at the same time. Seeing the three crowns and sugar loaf, Pool Hall, the Nautical William and all the other oh so familiar sweeping bends and red sandstone cliffs has been a real treat for me. There were times when I almost felt I was riding along. All the best in everything you decide to do Dave and thanks for bringing joy to so many,
Thank you for some great content. All good things come to an end eventually. At least you recognize when a chapter is ending and a new one beginning. There are too many content creators that don't know when the game is up and are flogging a dead horse because they just don't understand their channel has come to a natural end. Good luck sir for the future
Sad to see you go. Big fan and fellow CL rider here in the states. Here they've had to rename the bike the scl 500 due to Mercedes trademark. I hope you still post from time to time. I feel like I am riding with you in beautiful UK. We need to keep the scrambler community alive!
I wish you all the very best. You've achieved far more in 1 year than I have in 2.5 years of tubing. The CL is a great bike and that 500 engine is pretty nice, I usually end up with the CB500F as a loan bike when my Transalp is in for service.
Received this news with a tinge of regret, David. Thanks for sharing some of your life over the past year, which synced up nicely when I came looking for advice and feedback on this model bike. All the best and here's lookin' atcha big ears. lol
I subscribed shortly after I bought my CL. I haven't watched all the vids but have enjoyed your company and the pleasant scenery which is much different than here in central Canada. Wishing you all the best. May you ride safe as well. Cheers!
Well from my point of view you shutting down the channel is a bigger disappointment than losing the cafe. Always great thought provoking content. Hope one day you will have a re-think. Sad i never met you but if there is a way of knowing which cafe you move to i am only in Shrewsbury. Many thanks Dale Chamberlain.
Thank you for making this video. It was great to watch, especially the part about possible alternative places that the motorcycle community may use. It is so sad that this place is closing as I always considered it a place of Zen, considering what is happening in the country and world today and for the future. I appreciate that this is your last video, but if you do find out what alternative to the food stop cafe the motorcycle community are likely to use; I would like to request if you could do another video so everyone gets a chance to find out sooner rather than later. Once again, thank you for an amazing video, with brilliant content. Kind regards, Darren
Thanks for your efforts. I don’t live in the area but always stopped at the Food Stop when I travelled to Worcester. I’ve already started to go to Pool Hall, mainly thanks to your video. Cheers
Thanks for your videos, I've only discovered your channel recently and really enjoyed the subjects you've talked about. Might see you around the Midlands.👍
sorry to see the cafe close a end of a era also sorry to see you go dave your a great source of local news regarding bikes and such wishing you all the best and thanks for all your vlogs
BIG THANK YOU for all your videos, they were very informative, you did a great job. Maybe you will be back with a different theme. Good luck for whatever you do in the future.
Thanks for the interesting topics covered. Just a quick point. Over means you expect a reply. Out means end of transmission. You cannot have both, it's either over or out. Thanks again for all your efforts.
Sorry to here you're stopping the videos, being from the same area I enjoyed looking at the local scenery and listening to you waffle on. I used to meet at The Food Stop too, so yes I guess we all need to find another meeting place. I've got to be honest most of the time we only had cups of tea as the food wasn't that great, but it was a nice view and obviously lots of bikes to look at and like you said lots of history. We always tended to to head over towards The Watering Hole at Aymestrey to eat or Shobdon airfield or the Kabin at Kinlet, so with Poolhall there are still lots of places where we are welcome. Maybe if you decide to continue with TH-cam you could make a series on searching for the new biker cafe. Whatever you decide ride safe and enjoy, best wishes.
Thanks for a very good video 👍, A ride down with You As Now is memory lane 😢 "THE PIT STOP CAFE " It was One of my very 1st bike cafe rideouts on a My Kwak ZR750S With the bro in law , i will miss the Quat Cafe as I called it , its now over 2 decades of going there My default Cafe Enjoy your riding for you & No more worries about making videos & enjoy the ride atb Brian
Well David I'll be sorry to see you go. Yuve given us thought provoking videos but not unnecessarily controversial ones. You also reply frequently to viewer's comments too. That's something I like about smaller channels. They feel more like a social thing. Keep enjoying your bike and your ride outs with friends.
David, do another video, when you get something to say. What about all your mates, where are they going now that the cafe has closed. You have a warm calming voice. We miss you
Sorry to hear that David, I always look forward to one of your videos but you have to enjoy it and want to do it yourself. Maybe you'll be back when you think of something you just have to tell us about 😊 all the best 👍
Well that was a shock, I can honestly say your channel is one of my favourites and I will really miss your content. I hope you reconsider as it will be dearly missed by me and your fellow subscribers. Hope you can get settled with a new 3rd place and get that camera out again as your content has always been honest and interesting. Take care & ride safe.
Hi wire forest rider, sorry to hear you are stopping your channel and I will miss your channel and such great content all so Thanks for the tip to Tamworth triumph when I mention that street bike was suiting done and you told me about Tamworth triumph which was great full to you for tell ing me and great full thanks . I also hope you might start up again if you change your mind later
thanks for the content, but i can understand your reasons & you can always come back if you change your mind later as many others have done, so GL for your future
Really sad to see the end of the cafe, been there as long as I can remember, and I'm old ! But just as sad to hear you are quitting TH-cam, I've found your videos informative and very interesting I do hope you will consider changing your decision and keep making content, if not I wish you Farewell and Good Luck in whatever you do, All the Best Tony
Sad to see the cafe going it was the first place I rode to the day I got my first big bike and will always be special to me . Sorry to see your stopping your videos it was so nice to see the all local places and roads from my youth 🙁
@@WyreForestBiker that would be awesome news, you are right so much has happened in the motor cycle world in the last few months....only one person knows how to talk about it 👍😀
Sorry to hear you've decided to call it a day David as I've enjoyed your videos and I don't even have a Honda. Maybe if Aidie and Karen start up somewhere else you might find the enthusiasm to give it another go as I'm sure there's others like myself who watch your chanel just for the non CL500 content. I live in the Wyre forest area too and if I spot you out and about I'll buy you a coffee as a small sign of my appreciation for your efforts. Ride safe, Ade
For some of us the third place is channels like yours, a place you find like minded people with a common interest. A sad day - good luck with whatever you do next.
@pommiegranite464 The purpose of warming up is not about smooth running, it is to allow the internal rotating parts to reach temperature. The most wear on them occurs during this period....Carb or injection is completely irrelevant.
I'm sad that you've decided to stop and as a voice on reason in the TH-cam world unfortunately populated by self promoters you will be missed. Perhaps the occasional update in the future.🤞. Anyway, all the best and thanks for the memories.

are you on F/B, ❓ sold my Z-SX, got a GSX-8S, as preferred the ergo's to 8R, but that looks better imo, at my age comfort is more important 😉

You don't have to 'warm up' a bike with fuel injection. They have no choke nor carbs.
