- We got the flathead V8 loaded in and mounted up! Installing a pair of Chaddilac biscuit mounts, and using a F1 Pickup crossmember for the trans mount make it super smooth for build a AV8 roadster!

This is a nice little roadster. Good work! **Same setup, I had to raise my motor mounts just a tad. Some people section the F1 crossmember. The F1 trans mount is just a little high. Does not appear that you ran into the same thing? Will the carbs sit level?
Thanks! They should, I'm at 2º up in the front, but with the mercury flathead it should bring it down a bit!
what year f1 crossmember are you using
Hey Steve... 1948-1952, but I believe the earlier 46/7 is basically the same.
