    Othership is your new mindfulness routine. Embark on a journey to regulate your nervous system - and your emotions - in a world that can’t be regulated.
    Today it’s extremely common, to never experience full-blown, life- threatening stress, but to never fully relax either. Our nervous system is stuck in an in-between state half-stimulated and our organs aren’t able to rest. Chronic stress creates communication problems for the nervous system
    This is a video exercise to teach you to consciously turn on heavy stress for short bursts, specifically so that we can turn it off and spend the rest of our days and nights relaxing and restoring. We’ll be giving our nervous system a full reset.

    - Please do not perform breathwork while pregnant. Some of the styles and holds are dangerous for mother and baby.
    - Check with your doctor before you start a breathwork practice, if you have a history of epilepsy or cardiovascular issues, including high blood pressure, or are currently taking antipsychotic medications.
    - Never perform breathwork while driving or in water.
    - Breathwork has the potential to bring about intense feelings. Because of the strong physical and emotional releases that may arise, it’s not recommended for everyone. Please talk to your doctor before practicing.
    - Additionally, some types of breathwork can induce hyperventilation, which can bring on dizziness, chest pain, and pounding heartbeat.
    - It is common for your body to undergo physiological changes while doing breathwork; body temperature fluctuation, numbness and tingling in your arms and legs, tightness in your hands. Do not worry, this will all return back to normal as your breath does.

    It amazes me that everytime I get to the meditation and I start to repeat "I don't really know what will happen" tears start flowing down my checks, and I can start to feel my body panicking because I don't really know. I do this practice every day now and its life-changing 🙏❤️

      i don't really know what will happen... but we "get to" find out 💕 helped me shift my perspective, from fear or dread to seeing how it could be a gift and ...possibly a super fantastic exciting adventure! who knows 😎 but I'm now open to it. It could be a gift if we make it so 💕peace x

    I just got out a long term relationship and I've been having a whole week where I've just been feeling completely emotional and unable to control my thoughts. I was already having cold showers but I still wanted to keep trying to hone in my mental stability and anxiety while I'm going through this period. I vaguely remember seeing some breathing work on tiktok so I decided to look it up. This is the first video I came across.
    I've done this 2 days in a row now. Not only has my anxiety and emotional instability dropped 10 fold, I feel legitimately better then I've felt for the previous 6 months. I normally wouldn't comment on anything but this technique is so good. If you read this, I highly recommend it. Legitimately can't see myself going a day without it now.

      @@HeidiAnneMusic I’d have to say no. This technique is a great tool to calm you down and make you feel better and more focused but it’s not a permanent fix. I have days especially with work and such where I start to become a little bit emotionally unstable but if I use this technique I can often hone my focus and stay on track.
      It’s a brilliant technique though don’t get me wrong and if you have the time to do it you should make it a staple of your day, it will help and I still actively use it myself a year later.

    This video has been a life saver. I've had a lot of trauma in my life and it really messed up my nervous system. I am quick to react to small things and get stressed out too easily.       I just tried this for the first time after suffering panic attacks/anxiety for 14 years, is this suppose to make you feel like your having a panic attack while doing it?

      ​@@amandacampbell9625 I've been a breathwork instructor for some time now and currently taking another functional breathing cert right now. Breathing in this way with the specific intensity (volume of air) they have you do is a breathing pattern that intentionally induces your body into a state of stress so it's very normal to activate things like anxiety or traumas in your nervous system while doing this style. I recommend breathing much softer almost as if you can barely feel the air coming in and out of your nose (to the point where you feel a very slight air hunger) with the same patterns or rhythm and you'll notice a drastic difference. When we're first learning to re-educate our breathing patterns we want to be much gentler with ourselves. This can be very abrupt especially if we have unsettled nervous systems. Less is better when it comes to volume because that actually increases oxygen uptake and delivery to the cells organs and tissues through what's called the bohr effect. This signals hemoglobin to release oxygen as carbon dioxide rises in the blood. So yeah be gentler with yourself and I hope this helped 🙏🏼

    I went into this going "Eh I probably don't need this" -it wasn't until I started sobbing during the fast breath I realized how much my body truly needed this. I'll absolutely be doing this daily from now on.

    I have cptsd and am trying to heal my trauma. I’ve been struggling meeting my meditation goals as it’s hard for me to just sit and listen while my mind races. Thank you for this breath work video which soothed my nervous system while also giving me something to do. I did this video after being so triggered I had to call the emergency mental health line.       I have c-ptsd too. It is really complicated. I feel a big relief, like a huge mountain lifted off my chest, just by hearing other people say :”i was so triggered that I had to call the mental health line.” I am not a failure. Other people are experiencing this. This is my life, and now I feel more normal, less of a freak… Thank you thank you thank youuu for having written this.

    I don’t usually comment on post but wow what an experience that was. So much of my life has been this constant pursuit to know, because if I know then I can anticipate the pain or I can only do the things that make me feel good. Never allowing myself any rest. So many years of anxiety and depression all born from the need to know everything. I didn’t realize the connection this had in my relationships with my inability to trust others no matter how I tried. It crazy how “I don’t know” as a phrase in itself can be the most comforting thing or the most terrifying. I don’t know without trust in your source or your higher power is the soil that fear plants it’s roots. But today I experienced the bliss of what it is to not know but to be full with trust. My life has felt like tragedy after tragedy especially as of late and I’ve been trying to fill in the blanks of why all these things have been happening, making connections that may not necessarily fit. Today I can say I finally know what peace feels like and it hilariously simple. Finding comfort in those 3 words “I DON’T KNOW” Thank you for bringing to my center

      Beautifully put! I always felt my need to know everything was a sign of striving for the best me. Reading your well written comment makes me realize the having “to know” may come from a place of insecurity and a need to shield myself.       Are you familiar with Dr. Joe Dispenza? He has tons of books and videos on the art of healing naturally (via mind and energy). His book “Becoming Supernatural” is a must! Check out his episode on Impact Theory to get acquainted! He will blow your mind!
      Another fave of mine is The Game Of Life And How To Play It by Florence Scovel Schinn. What a woman! I’m now reading a book about metaphysic that’s very similar to Florence but MUCH MORE IN DEPTH. It’s “The Science Of Mind” by Ernest Holmes. These two authors are much like Dr. Joe in how they look at the connection between dis-ease and the mind, and they show the reader that there is really only one mind.
      To put to another way… they show that what we experience in life is what we think INTO it.

      @@laimaravillon895 you might be feeling very intense Fire Energy now with Jupiter, Uranus and Rahu the North Lunar Node in Aries. Mercury, Mars and Venus are all in Leo also with Venus in retrograde. I feel very intense Fire Energy during these transits and have to stay balanced and grounded with the Earth often. I’m an Aries Sun also. Are you referring to Eastern or Western astrology? I use 13 sign astrology.

    Holy shit, this right here is life-changing! Did it on my first try, dunno how, thought I was going to die somewhere in the middle, but MAN was it worth it!     I never comment on youtube videos but this is the first meditation that has ever brought tears to my eyes. The “I don’t know” was a beautiful release. I don’t know and that is okay. I can surrender myself now. It is safe for me to not be in control anymore. I can just be. I already am.

    Just decided to do this today bc I only had 3 hrs of sleep due to overthinking, anxiety, and stress--and wow, I feel so much more energized after this compared to where I'd wake up with 8 hrs in my belt. This is so amazing, I'm going to include this in my daily routine. (Pretty random but I can imagine tribal sceneries during the music parts XD)
    I don't know anything that will happen in the future, and that's okay. I don't need to know. I don't need to be perfect either, I don't even criticize or judge other people for being human, so there's no need for me to be highly critical of myself either.

    This was my first try at any sort of guided breathing. I suffer from chronic stress and I’ve worked so hard the past three years so get better. This was a totally new experience for me in a positive way. At first I cried, I panicked, I had to pause and take my air pods out cause all these sensations started coming up. I was able to calm myself down and was able to finish the rest❤ this feels powerful.

    It's wild: I've done this a few times now and on the hold on empty parts I actually laugh a little bit. And that's a good thing!

    That is the longest uninterrupted chunk of time I have gifted myself in.. months. It was so easy to follow and really refreshing. Around the third cycle I felt a little emotional but pushed through the feelings and kept breathing as I experienced them 🙏🏼

    This is amazing. As someone who has a lot of anxiety and experienced difficulty with sitting still during mediations, I found this one to be so engaging with the music and both voices are so comforting and expressive. It’s now my second time returning and I’ll continue as I incorporate this into my daily routine. I feel so amazing during + afterwards!

    I haven’t felt that amount of emotional flow since quite a while.

    Also noticing: Positive, Hopeful, Optimistic (which is great but also unnerves me because these are somewhat Future-focussed feelings (non present/aspirational) so I want to see that and return to Presence. Done ✅ 😊

    First off, I NEVER write reviews on TH-cam, BUT
    This meditational breath work is AMAZING. I was kind of skeptical about it and not completely sure of what to expect. This is now my second time watching this and second time crying. This hits so deep. Both times I have forgiven myself and let go of the control. This makes me forgive myself for being so damn hard on myself as well and reminds me to be gentle with myself. I struggle daily with self talk and this just seems to melt it away. It’s a new day and I can be the change I need.
    During the session I experienced a tingling sensation in my abdomen and forearms to my hands. My hands even did the claw thingy. And I definitely get down with the beat being on point with the breathing.
    This is amazing. You’re amazing.

    We are all different and our connection to this will all be entirely different so we shouldnt compare to others comments , if it didnt work for you try something slightly different, even if we all had cptsd it would still effect us differently. But also dont give up just because the results dont wok the first time !!
    I have done some different breathwork sessions for vagus nerve reset but this one just really clicked for me. I strugfled focusing during the longer breath sets (8,4) but the 1s at the end really did something for me. I felt my body shake and go really cold, like old energy was leaving. I started to cry and then when you said at the end something about a story we tell ourselves i burst into tears. Like some realisation that i am traumatised and the thoughts / core beliefs i tell myself daily are NOT my truth.
    I then had some leftover pizza for lunch after and usually im full of shame and guilt for eating anything like that due to it being a less healthy coping mechanism, but i didnt feel any guilt or shame . I just felt so much lighter in my body , i still do .
    I can face the day now. Thank you so much for makiny this accessible.
    I do agree with others, a longer video would be awesome too!
    It was an incredible experience. Ill be doing it everyday maybe twice a day.

    Felt my freeze/ disssocition just leave. Like what the heck!!

    WOW. This was my first time doing breath work (concentrating on my breath usually gives me anxiety) and this just blew me away. I'm pretty sure I had some kind of micro trip at the end where all these colours were vividly flowing through my vision while eyes were closed 😮 the mind is amazing

    I wish I could put my experience into words. I have done a lot of breathwork on TH-cam and I have never experienced anything like this. I suffer from CPTSD and have been under the control of narcissistic abuse my entire life. I just recently found this out at 29 years old and have been looking for somatic ways to heal. During the second to last session I let out a blood curling scream, on the last breath hold my body started convulsing and I went into an exorcist type position as my whole body convulsed and let out another scream. I curled into the fetal position and continued to cry/whimper and convulse for minutes after the session was over. I feel like my entire body let go of 1,000lbs of dead weight. I cannot thank you enough for this experience. I am still in shock.

    I am healing from complex ptsd. I have been doing this breathwork exercise almost daily for a year now. This exercise is slowly teaching my body safety. I highly recommend this as part of your daily routine. It took me several months to be able to do this in stillness. So, don't be discouraged if you struggle in the beginning. Just keep practicing!

    This is incredible. I don’t normally feel compelled to leave comments on TH-cam but I just need you to know how much this video is appreciated. I have terrible focus and have always found it impossible to follow along with guided meditations. I’ve tried so many meditation & breathwork apps but I’ve never seen anything like this. It sort of incorporates elements of wim hof with slower breathing techniques and the music and voice over add something so unique. Even with my poor concentration it felt effortless to follow along. This is just beautiful, thank you. Would you ever consider making a longer version?

The last affirmations made me cry, they were clarity to a unresolved problem with my mom, i realice that i was trying to control what i did on the day without letting in the posibity of her asking me for chores. And i was getting mad at her, now i know that it was always me and my “perfect” routines.     This is an amazing guided session. Really feel your presence through your calm, pleasant voices. As a somatic Breathwork practitioner, I enjoy being led through experiences and lately I’ve been off of routine and not fully showing up for myself, working through some anxious attachment patterns in my relationship, so this has been really re-igniting for me showing up for me! 🙏🏼

    This is my first breathwork and i just can say thank you so much for this. I was scared for a second there i felt a huge tightness on my wrists and a tingling feeling all over my body but it was so amazing to just trust and to go with the flow.     This was my first time doing it and it was amazing thank you so much ❤ I’ve been struggling with my lung capacity and holding my breath but I feel like my breath is so much deeper after doing this and I was able to hold my breath for longer than I have in a long time during this session. I’ll definitely be doing it again 🙏🏻❤

    I really appreciate this video. I’ve done this practice around 10 times over 3 months and along with a lot of other breath-work, meditation, yoga, yoga nidra and somatic exercise, it has helped me start to gain control and enable self regulation. Halfway through I have intense activation of the flight response and it takes everything I have to remain present and stay focused on the moment. The payoff is worth it. At one time, I felt hopeless about my anxiety but sticking with these practices has truly made a difference and will continue to heal and guide me towards a positive future. Thank you!

    I’ve never commented on a TH-cam video before and I just had to with this one. I have been having a really bad day and had a panic attack which I haven’t had in a long time, I felt lost, alone, anxious, depressed and lots for hope. This video and breathing did something to me that I can’t explain. Straight away I feel free from everything I was feeling today and it almost feels silly.
