I picked up the VP9SK OR this past week. I put a Holosun SCS on top. This pistol is a nail driver at 30 feet. The recoil is minimal. 300 rounds later, and this is my new EDC.
I just picked this gun up a couple weeks ago didn’t have a chance to take it to the range but mine came with four magazines, 2-12 1-15 and 1-17! Ca😮wait to take to the range!
Ive had this SK and the full sized VP9 for a couple of years and the SK is still in my carry rotation. Its a bit heavier than my other carries but its phenomenal feeling in the paw. They are also easier to be super accurate than pretty much anything else out there. Overall, i love the VP9SK
The SCS is what I have on mine. What a great setup. And I carry it in a 1791 leather holster. And will be switching over to a nice kydex IWB holster next Spring.
I bought this handgun as my first EDC and I have no regrets. But fast forward to today and I’m ready to trade it in for a micro 9. There’s just so many guns out there that are way smaller, lighter, and easier to carry that hold the same amount of rounds. I’m likely going to go with the FN Reflex. My VP9SK has been totally reliable, but it’s just not always comfortable to carry here in Houston TX where I have to wear shorts and T shirts most times I go out. It’s not easy to conceal comfortably. My friend has a Shield Plus and side by side my VP9SK looks massive. And for what benefit? He has the same capacity, it’s cheaper, and there’s a lot more holster options. I went with a hybrid holster from a brand called Vedder and it’s comfortable against my skin and on my waist, but the holster itself is just too big also. My FN Reflex holster will literally be half the size. Can’t wait to switch.
I was just gonna add one to my cart. I'm looking at one right now and it cost $529 without the optic cut $600 with the optic cut. My problem is the gun is as big as a damn Glock 19.. So I'm gonna hold off.
