I agree with Rick when he says that people who go through acute suffering, turn out to be the most sweet, generous, giving kind of people. I have seen this in my personal life where people who suffer from disabilities are more courageous, kind and loving than the privileged ones, who have probably received everything in life, but are still hateful to others and like to bully those weaker than them in any respect. I am not saying it's a rule of law, but I have seen that often.
