a-HAH! Finally! A pro that uses snaps! 😁 I can't count on two hand how many fishing videos I've watched saying not to use snaps. Been using them for years and I rarely get out fished everywhere I go. Not to brag, js
I use to laugh at you southern boys when you'd put out a winter fishing video after I moved from S Mississippi to NE Ohio. But my hat is off to MR Christie. You been fishing some legit cold stuff brother 😂😂
Just picked up the Falcon Expert Jerkbait rod after watching your first JB video. Looking forward to trying it out here in a week or so. Thanks for the tips!
Keep these videos coming!!! I actually learn stuff from u because I explain why u there, when u there, what your looking for etc most don't go into detail as u do!! Thanks
Informative video, got our today on Oologah and it was tough with the wind and water was 42/44 w/ 3' visibility. I gave the JB is fair share of casts but I believe I was "moving" the bait instead of giving the quick snaps. This is a technique I will continue to work on.
Im ngl. I stopped halfway through the video, but just taking away the simple fact of taking it slow when reeling a bait helped me catch my new pb at 5lb 3oz today. Caught it a little under a foot off the bank in front of me (bank fisher, sadly)
Don’t knock yourself for bank fishing. I caught a 8-6 from the bank in October. I did a lot of bank fishing. I read maps good. Moved around. Use the wind to my advantage. You can catch the from the bank all year. What I would look for is drops close to the bank, tight contour lines on a map, 6-10 ft is great.
Great video Jason. I love the Rouge's for Jerkbait fishing. I like the Bill Norman Speed Clips better than the Duo Lock snaps you are using. The speed clip is strong and will not open up by accident like the Duo Lock snaps can. The Norman Speed Clips also pick up junk like eel grass and weeds.
Olh i am brand new to jerkbait foshi was dishing walleye om the Mississippi River in Minnesota using a swim bait the guy next to me was throwing a jerkbait and he caught 8 walleye with in 15 minutes of walking up that was last year
SOMETIMES the wind can blow warmer surface water into an area, bringing bait and bass, regardless of a little stain. It's usually a Westerly wind, after a couple days of warming the surface water, that presents this situation.
Great info and your explanation of what your doing and why your doing it really helps!!! And even though you are Jason Christie you can’t catch 6 or 7 pounders every time you hit the water bud. But I do appreciate and respect the effort! Good luck on the new season, I got a feeling it’s gonna be a great year
Hey Jason great video. I have been a fan forever, from Pryor about 45 minutes from grand. Glad to see you on the TH-cam channel man thank you, and your gonna kill em in Florida tomorrow
When is the last time you caught your primary fish in a tournament on a jerkbait in a tournament? Also, do you think there is a tournament this year that you could win or catch significant fish on this year with a jerkbait?

That info on the Smithwick is something to put in the old memory box, thanks for grinding on such a lovely day!$$$
Thanks for giving water , weather and gear info on each video. Awesome as usual. Good luck this weekend!
Very good info .I'm learning more when seeing hands on videos
Thank you for posting this. Jerkbait motivation right here
Great info. Been waiting on the Rogue video! Awesome stuff. Thanks!
Thanks for the heads up on the Red Hook up front Jason great video. MAW bass.

Thank you Jason!
Diffidently one of my top 5 anglers to learn from. Particularly because of the rogue and spinnerbaits
Great info, thanks! On the water video’s taking us through your thought process, perfect 👍
Dude you caughtem, under those conditions you had a great day. Thanks for info.
Great video, I always thought that water temps affected the rate of fall on jerk baits but never knew for sure.

Lovin' the new videos!!
Jason, thanks for tour videos, your big spinnerbait video got me a couple four pounders this weeks. Thanks!
Great video! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the video Jason, always very informative. Good luck on the trail this year!
Thanks for the videos Christie 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
This is a great video!
Great advice
Great video!
Classic winner.
Awesome video
The best . Thanks you !
best winter jerkbait instructions I have seen on youtube... cheers Jason helped a lot! 🍺
Thanks! I’m sure we will be doing another one here soon too
@@Christiefishing will be waiting for that buddy !
Great info! I’ve been messing with some jerkbaits here lately.
Using the jerk bait in clear water is awesome. You'll learn a lot watching how those bass attack it. Perfect 10's are my favorites. Cold clear water!
I live in Lawton Oklahoma. Water temps have dropped really quick with our cold fronts. Went yesterday to LETRA and couldn’t get even a nib.
That’s how it goes sometimes in the winter. Keep at it
Another awesome video Jason 👍🏼🔥

Nice video 👍 🎣🐟🐟🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Good video Jason. Keep up the hard work and get that spinnerbait ready. Good luck tomorrow and God bless...👍👍
Appreciate it

Appreciate it. I hope you’re right
What name brand jerkbait do u use and the best colors
good video jerk bait can be tricky a person needs to keep an open mind
The big ones... offshore ?
What Falcon Rod do you use for Jerkbait fishing?
Cara jerkbait
Are they really looking at color tho in water that dirty going more for noise and cadence then color choice
They are feeling the bait more in dirty water
You said you were using clip on your jerkbaits. Can you tell me exactly which snaps and size? Thank you for the videos these are great!
Link to the snap I use in the description
@@Christiefishing thank you sorry for not seing that!
Hey Jason great video. I have been a fan forever, from Pryor about 45 minutes from grand. Glad to see you on the TH-cam channel man thank you, and your gonna kill em in Florida tomorrow
Thanks. I’m sure gonna try
So how we get these 6:8:1 and 5:8:1 hypermags????
I guess mine are old. They did carry them
How do you measure water clarity ?
I drop bait down in the water and see how far it goes before it disappears.
Why not a spinnerbait over the jerkbait with the water color and temp?
Didn’t think they would chase much after water temps dropped so fast
Great information ...AOY2022🤞🔨

It’s not because I don’t want too. Schedule typically doesn’t line up for it. I like it in colder water
@@Christiefishing oh ok. That makes sense
Love the video I’ve never figured out how to fish a jerk bait correctly this will help
Glad I could help
Now I just need to coordinates where to throw them on tenkiller lol
So I guess jerking up and to the side is okay? I’ve only ever seen jerking down and to the side.
Sometimes you don’t have a choice in shallow water. As long as you are moving the bait the same way that’s all that matters
Did you just call your touque a sock hat? Damn son.
It's crazy you can't find a jerkbait video on TH-cam nowadays without livescope being involved, tech became necessary overnight
Not for us OLD CATS!
