Works for iPhone too, just turn off Wi-Fi & make sure whatsapp isn’t using location then just change the time & delete the message, worked for me. Thanks !

Hi there I can not delete a message I sent to someone a while ago. If I change date and time I can't then access what's app it says the date and time needs to be changed?

i tried it but smt wierd happens. for example if i set the time 5 hours late it will show that the message is still 5 hours late (the time of the message also changes) and therefore i cant delete it for everyone
Do not change the time, just change date and try it again.

ForceStop only works until you don't open your whatsapp but when you open whatsapp, forcestop has nothing to do with it.

The message is deleted just from my phone. And it writes "deleted for everyone"... The message is not deleted from the other phone on which the message is sent.. Can you please explain that?? Cause the whole point of deleting for everyone is to delete the msg on the phone its been sent to..!!!

If the ticks got blue then it means that your message has been read by the person you sent the message.

Don't worry your message has been deleted, that red i button shows because of whatsapp policy don't worry about that.

My whatsapp shows error that date n time is incorrect, therefore unable to open whatsapp. Even i turned on airplane mode and force stopped the app. Pls help
