@@OofusTwillip I've seen another commercial where Ernest climbs a ladder to Vern's upstairs window and Vern pushes the ladder away, causing Ernest to fall. It would've served him right if he had broken his neck.

11:12- one of my favorite Riunite commercials ever. I love this jingle :). I’m also drinking Riunite wine while I’m watching this commercial. What a coinkydink! I wish they still made the Riunite Spumante.
I remember my mom drinking Riunite and I would walk in a store asking if we needed to pick any up making her turn beet red 😂 I didn’t know any better. She passed in 2012 I wish she was here to see this.

The news updates aren’t designed or written to go with commercials, and vice versa. Expecting any sort of “flow” to any of it is an exercise in futility.

The video quality is nice on this one, especially for 1986. Must have been done on one of the first 4 head recorders.
