--- Thank You! This was very helpful. My 2010 Infinity FX 35 with 263,000 miles was running extremely rough and the check engine light was intermittently going on for a few days and off for a day and then back on for a week etc. I just completed a plug and coil replacement today, all original plugs barely had any electrode left. I'm amazed the car was running at all. My only mistake was I connected two front coils on the driver side wrong. The middle plug was put on the front coil and the front plug was put on the middle coil. I started it up and it was running very rough and backfiring. I realized they were backwards, and now it runs like new. This video gave me the confidence to do this myself. Thanks again, stay safe. Mark.
Do you have the original transmission as well? What problems have you faced with it? I just bought an FX35 with 85k miles, I love it so much. I'm hoping for many years of longevity with it! 🙏

hi, 8/26/24: architect are smart ppl. When you get richer, can you give me this suv? I luv fx35, but they are expensive.
Nice video, easy to follow your attention to detail, very helpful for anyone hesitant to do this job. Just have to move stuff out the way. I’ll write notes down so I don’t forget what goes where. Thanks
Thanks for this. I was looking at scrapping my otherwise immaculate '05 FX35 because ignition ground wire and two starter coils are gone - dealer wants about 3k and possibly another 2200. after for ecm, IF that is gone. I think I am gonna do it myself with my boys and they have my old (favorite ever) car, as originally planned.
Thank you so much for this video. It is coming up the time that my FX needs this done, I didn't expect it to be so straight forward. It's lucky that the car is based on a RWD platform. My 2009 RX350 is a hell of a lot more tedious being that the rear plugs are underneath some manifolds.
Nice video ! I had a cylinder 5 misfire surprise me on Christmas weekend and low and behold it needed a new spark plug and coil pack. That thing was brutal to get to but finally got it replaced. Now I’m contemplating paying a mechanic to swap the remaining five or try it myself. Your video certainly helps me but there are so many dang cables/hoses in the way

Quick question. I just changed out 5 of 6 plugs for a general maintenance as car not running smooth. The #3 plug was misfiring about 6 months so just changed that plug out everything was good. Service engine soon light comes on and off for last few months. I just had car inspected today and failed went to autozone they said #3 misfiring. Just finished replacing #3 plug again and again autozone reader saying it's #3 cyclinder. Plug is new Is it possible that the coil is bad. I didn't see any residue or oil on plug.thanks for any input
I have a 2003 fx35 and it's idling n drives ruff. I took to autozone and it read p040,I think. It's camshaft position sensor in bank 1 but I don't think that's it because I've changed it about a year ago. It feels like it's missing, so I'm thinking of coil packs or spark plugs. My slip n other light been on since I changed that bank 1 camshaft position sensor n I'm kinda lost right now

Hi, what happened? How did you fix your problem?! Plz help!
I got a misfire on cylinder 2 I just replaced all my spark plugs and coils what do I do 😂?
Is this the same for a 2005 infiniti fx35?
Yes the same steps apply for the 03-08 models
Anybody ever had a p0420 and a p0301 code for this suv? If so what did you fix because cats or to expensive righ now
Brother. you will have a video where you change the injectors of an infiniti fx 35 2008.
hi there, which one is #5
Don't you put dialectic grease on the coil and a bit of never seize on the plug threads ? But nice video...
I just bought a 2009 fx 35 today, I see a little blue smoke when I crank it, then it go away.... what do you think is the problem....
Head gasket
Same for 2014 QX70?
Is thjs coil one
So u would recommend changing the coils too
U make look so easy
Will this work for a 2009 FX35?
You never showed the last passenger side coil you did the easy ones
You did not see full video he did all 3 on pasanget side in the video look at the end
Great video keeo them coming
Glad it was helpful!
I pulled the coils from the plugs and only partial of the coils came off. How do I get to the rest of the coil out from the plug
so the boot stayed on the plug? grab some long needle nose pliers grab and pull like hell
I have a 2009 FX-35. Can you please tell me the differences?
There aren’t any differences. Follow these steps he’s showing in this video and you’re all good.

How insane is it that I was quoted 3.50 hours of labor and $131.28 per coil and $19.48 per sparkplug for a grand total of $1750?
Hope you took the extra 2 mins and replaced the pcv while you were in there. It's that yellow piece right next to the first coil you took out.
Why would you need to change that?

It costs $800 for spark plugs or coil packs?!? Since when?..
probably including labor at a shop. they wanted 600 to replace the spark plugs i laughed at them
What are the best spark plugs for ‘04 FX35
Nobody a fucking fx45 it’s so sad no videos on the 45 horrible
Got leak too lol my car has 230,000
Which one is coil 4?
passenger side is 1, 3, 5 driver side is 2.4,6
coil 4 would be middle coil on the driver side
