I was thinking of picking these up and after the led comment don’t think I won’t anymore. I don’t understand how less are going to void the warranty.
I love those headlights but I also love the LED's I have in my stock headlights. Is it worth voiding the warranty to put LED's in the TacomaBeast ones?

Lol he said ugly chrome. It's chrome for reasons it help reflects and throw the light forward to illuminate the road better! Design engineer Kno their works. Black housing in the headlights it reduces some of that light reflection. Black housing headlights used to be illegal in the 2000s. Don't know about it now but for aesthetic it looks better
Come to Arkansas and do mine I'm 64 scared I'll scratch it 😮
I could care less about the chrome or how it looks. The stock lights suck then I hit a deer and broke the connecting arms causing them to hang lower. Can’t see a damn a thing without using the high beam in the dark roads so I went and purchased the cheapest option on TB with the LED.
What are you doing with all the brand new stock parts? cool emergency flashers!

Hi Jesse I bought those headlights but unfortunately the right side came defective 3 times the DRL piece is not clipped all the way in you can see the light bulbs only on the passenger side did you have the same issue with yours?

Do you need to adjust the headlight beam or is it already set to the stock beam height
They need to be adjusted
A couple very important tips, #1 DO NOT ORDER THESE LIGHTS FROM PROTUNINGLABS (PTL). They’re from outside of LA. They totally fucked me over. They mailed me the wrong lights, then refused to give me a refund. #2 When you pull out the fender to access the clips 6:23 in the video, attempt to reach in the fender and squeeze the clip to release it. I could do this for one of the 2 sides on my 2019 TRD Pro, the other side I had to just pry it off with a screwdriver with tape on it. Everything worked out great, but it will damage the clip a bit when u pry it off. Not a game changer, but be gentle when pulling it off so you can access the bolt holding the headlight secure from the side.

I bought similar headlights on Ebay only to find out they're for sr/sr5 models. The Ebay seller did not highlight this.. smh, I'll buy for tacomabeast from now on

Does it have the option for daylight running led lights?
I’m sure you can run it on your Tacoma where u switch the headlights on it has a option for you to leave the drl lights on during the day or switch them off
I had a 2003 mustang some time ago, and I did something similar. That was the easiest removal and install Ive had done on a car. Both lenses had just two metal flat stakes to remove. Not like this where youre removing the entire front end
Hey brother awesome video and info! Just bought these from Tacomabeast on Black Friday, so I was looking for a vid and came across yours! I actually got some LED taillights to match. Can’t wait to install them both! Speaking of LEDs, I have Auxbeams in my stock headlights so I’m just gonna put them in my new sequential headlights. Question though, I want to adjust them so they shine lower (since my truck has a lift). Is that pretty easy to do? Thanks in advance.
Those tailights are so nice!!! Maybe some day I’ll swap mine to ;)!, it’s easiest if u can get a good deal somewhere to get them adjusted but it’s nothing u can’t do yourself in the back of the headlights you will notice there should be two knobs those knobs are the ones that twist the beam up and down all u need is a flat land to park ur truck on and a wall I’m not sure on how many feet I should have the truck from the wall but I know it should help and then it just twist away go slowly though so u don’t mess the beam up to much and just repeat the same exact process to the other side 👍 I hope that helps, for me I just had a buddy do it for me at work he used a little machine that points the light in but it’s prrtty much same process
Installing new headlamps on my 2018 tacoma, question, confused to what harness plugs into the drl connector. Everything lights but the drl bar. Help!
If you have a 2019 TRD SPORT , this steps won't work for you. The fender flare part is not the same for a 2019 model. Just a heads up.

And alright so yea that’s honestly one thing that stops everyone currently I’m searching for an led that will fit it that right off the bat I’m sure will help but downside may void warranty, so as far as that question it’s a yes and no alright so when u purchase and first receive you have to adjust the lights there’s knobs ontop of the headlights to adjust the beam (that person reviewing probably didn’t do that) now in all honesty yes it’s bothing crazy but from what I’ve seen on mine now that I’ve adjusted it it’s very comparable to stock so it’d be like having stock headlights with an awesome look (that’s just my opinion) yes it’s a downside but to me I’m happy with them and always get compliments on them and to me just makes the truck look more aggressive but once again yea there not crazy bright but make sure u adjust them to get the best output, also what can help is just get leds for the fogs, I hope that helps answer ur question my friend if not keep on asking :) 👍

So I just bought these lights and on the website it says that it won't fit my TRD Sport, but when I click on your link it's the same lights for the SR or the SR5 model.
For those with a 2020, there is a 3rd blue clip that will most likely break if you do like the video shows. Don't ask me how I know....
Good video. But for me, I don't like the way the DRL's turn off when you use your turn signals. I much prefer my DRL's to remain on while the turn signals are flashing. But they do look very nice on your truck.

SORRy for the late reply, and so far I’m still loving them I get a lot of compliments on them as well lol, as of right now yes I am still running the stock bulbs I’m thinking of swapping them soon though if I do I will make a video on it and explain some things in that subject, and there pretty much the same as the stock ones that your truck has on right now 👍

I installed these this morning. But for some reason the turn signal is delayed! They won’t turn on until like the 3 blink? Any way to fix this
I like how Toyota is making everything out of plastic unlike the old tacomas from 2001 that were all steel and had a metal bed, not a composite one like the new ones. The problem with old ones is that they last forever.

Will these work with my 2017 SR5? I know they will fit but im not sure if the DRL will work?

the lights look great no doubt. but does the light work well as a headlight? Does it do the job for lighting up the road? Better then OEM?
They work exactly the same they use a halogen bulb just like the stock housing only thing with these u have to readjust them when u receive them as there pointed up not down but that’s a simple process just need straight pavement and a wall to see the light where it’s pointing , I’d say the same just u get the looks 👌 and that sequential blinker :) and that bright drl gets a lot of compliments on the road and off
Just so you know there was nothing really "super simple" about this even though you said it like a hundred fifty times!!
agree. bumper release is tough, because it's very difficult to get the perfect alignment again. plastic clips become loose, stuff becomes loose... i did a headlight replacement on a frontier once and i regretted it.
In the world of cars, I would say that this is actually pretty simple. Ever swapped a radiator on a newer car before?
If your brand new and never worked on anything ever it might seem hard, but these trucks are basically snap together and really are super easy to work on, quit crying.
Honestly , you shouldn’t have to take so much off just to replace a headlight unit
Man, these things are beautiful, but $1500 is way too steep for some headlights.
I installed mine everything works but the turn signals dont come on when i lock or unlock, what did i do wrong?

Hi Jesse, I'm using this video as a reference for me on how to take my front bumper cover off. I have a scratch on my front bumper so I am going to take it off and raptor spray it. In your video, you didn't take the bumper cover off completely, but if you were to do that, is it jus taking off the additional bolts on the bottom, or is there anything else I should be mindful of? Also, is it possible to take off the black bumper grill that sits between the fog lights? Thank you!

So since it uses the stock headlights in the center are they exactly the same dull, yellowish lights as the stock? I always thought the lights from Tacomabeast came with inner LED lights.

it honestly doesn’t matter if you don’t plan on hitting any trails at night anytime soon maybe the headlights first as those u can use them and they show on your truck as far as the bumper light bar that helps out a lot at night if your hitting trails since you can only use it when off-roading but I would suggest if you have both the headlight and the light bar on hand right now I would suggest installing both at the same time since u do have to remove the grill for both installs 👍

Unfortunately if I’m not mistaken as of now they are not compatible with that model right now I believe it’s only for the trd models I left there link in the description box if you want to send a email to there customer service but I’m almost 100 percent from the last time I checked there website it said sr5 models are not applicable, I hope that answered your question my friend
how does the drl brightness compare to stock trd offroad drl, dimmer? specifically in daylight.
In daylight it’s significantly dimmer

It has been working for me I will have to test it and pay attention to be sure though and the best part there pretty much a plug and play makes everything easy
I’m thinking of buying those but did you have to do any alignment adjustments? Any to anyone who did, where did you go to align them?
There awesome lights even after a couple months I still love them, yes u do have to adjust them or atleast mine I did have to it was only off by a little though nothing crazy, and I work at a dealership so I had a tech coworker do it for me I was there while he did it it’s not to hard there’s two knobs the only difference at Home you’ll have to be on a leveled surface at work they had a tester to test the beam, I’m sure you can get any mechanic shop do do it for cheap if you don’t want to try it yourself but it’s not to hard, I hope that helps

Wait so do you put in your own lights into the inner bulb sockets or does it come with lights on the inside. Just because if you just use the stock lights and insert them in the headlight I want to order some LEDs to match the ring.
If u get this version in this video they come with it if y get the new headlights like I have now those u have to insert

Yea they don’t come calibrated I don’t think so, I had my coworker do it for me as at work we have all the tools but u can try parking your truck a couple feet from your garage or a wall you need to be on flat land, and when u open the hood and look inside at the headlight housing in the back of it you will notice two small knobs that you can turn, one I believe is for the high beam and one is for the low beam you just have to adjust those do it at night and make sure ur on flat land so u can adjust them or u can see how much your local dealer would cost to adjust them

Those look pretty sweet! We’re too busy to be able to film it but we’ve started wrapping the vette and the headlights are body colored so we’re going to have to replace or tint them to make the car flows design like this would be perfect 👌 great tutorial👍

You make it look so easy man. I tried and broke a few clips and the bumper wont come off. So I took it to the dealership, they want to charge me $400!!!

Man it sucks that it doesnt fit a SR5 model, only TRD models.
Check there website my friend I think they have for the sr5 model now if I’m not mistaken ( I may be wrong)
