For those that don't know, Aqua Teen Zombie Ninja Pro-Am is doing a full on spoof of an old Atari game called Ninja Golf.
Yeah and athf had tons of Atari references like the mooninites and the Atari weejy board and the insult master
Is there any confirmation of this

I've seen a lotta complaints about this game _because_ it's centered around Golf. The thing is, this is perfectly on level with the kind of bullshit the actual show would pull. The whole title of the show is a gigantic bait and switch, they don't fight crime, they do pretty much everything *but* that.
It really captures the energy of the show though
The main problem is that it's just not fun.
"Hey Lois! Remember the time I played golf with a bunch of food people?" "Those weren't food people, your McDonald's happy meal got roofied, Petah."

I was just fucking wondering about that. Like I thought maybe they could've gotten away with just stealing other people's photos, but if they were doing it legit they either had to license or commission photos, and that costs money... so it's prolly just people who worked on the show.
Hearing that I was right makes me feel weird! Imagine working on a comedy show for Adult Swim and the producer comes up to and says "hey can I take a picture of your butt? It'll be funny."

about the only fun bit
The writing is too on point. Shake spending too much time trying to chip a ball into Carls Pool is hilarious.
I love the detail of the healthbars in this game being Shake sucking out all his blood in "Diet" and Frylock getting progressively worse from his skin cancer in "Party All the Time."
Something I remember from the show was Cyberghosts filter was too strong and no one could understand him. Later when hes in scenes his filter was reduced a bit to fix that
I never knew Frylock had a gem on his back until litteraly just NOW. like hes always facing the camera in the show...
There are very rare occasions where he turns around and you can see it. Only really happens on episodes about the gem tho
You can see it in Frat Aliens, Hoppy Bunny, the movie, and the finale. There's probably some other scenes but those are where they're most relevant.
The Jewel of Imohoculese became a heavier plot point later on, but yeah: all of them have one! Shake's is on the bottom of his cup, and Meatwad's is just... I dunno? He just kinda eats things and keeps them ig.

Im such a die hard fan im seeing tons of references everywhere, even the HUD has them. Ive tried emulating the game on my last PC but the textures kept messing up, im gonna try this again with my new build
If you never got it to work my friend had luck emulating it on a ps3
Unless it's been fixed Zombie Ninja Pro AM only runs on the software renderer on PCSX2, and it runs worse than on a PS2. Atleast for me and I have a decent rig. i ended up burning the .iso and running it on my PS2.

I love it
It might be perhaps my favorite adult swim show and adult swim has amazing shows but I feel like athf perfectly represents adult swim brand of humor
And I got that curse where every time I see something athf related I immediately want to rewatch couple of episodes

Actually, Bernie Stolar had almost nothing to do with what happened to the Saturn.
What happened is that SEGA had lost basically all its market share and in the tail end of 1997 there was nothing they could do to keep up and the only feasible solution they came up with was pushing the "next" gen as soon as they could, a shot in the dark. Stolar only got the bad rep because he said "Saturn isn't our future" publicly, Sega of Japan and all insiders knew it before him.
I'll say though that I share, like you and millions of others, the same frustration as the Saturn is a brilliant machine that didn't reach its peak, its best years were to come up to 2001 and many great software and sequels never happened. But let's not blindly blame one person who assumed a broken company. He could barely do anything to save SEGA.

what did he change in the software render settings? i've struggled to get this game to emulate without the visual crust
Software rendering instead of hardware rendering. It still ran like hot garbage on my ryzen 5 so i just burnt a copy of it and played on real hardware.
I used my actual PS2 and used McBoot to emulate it that way. Works perfectly fine that way too.
