Excellent car build! I build a similar 1971 Duster in the late 70's and had to sell it when my first son was born. I would love to build another one. Your sweet bad-a$$ car brought back some good memories...

Thumbs up to the driver and crew if any. Car comes out, its missing a little, breakin up, breaks the rearend. Then with no hesitstion, next track you see the car is better, and the driver is knocking the cobwebs off of his game too, it pushes the brakes through the tree in the second or third run, and car keeps sounding better, and driver looks better. All around cool vid of the challenges of drag racing. Very nice.

Don Dagy glad you enjoyed ! It’s def a team effort ! And yeah people expect things not to break or you to debut a brand new car and it run flawless. RARELY HAPPENS THAT WAY.

8th mile racing is fun i liked quarter cause at 200mph you at least had time to enjoy the ride but 8th is great for anything running mid 5s that 7:10 is perfect you have a good car that is relatively low maintenance in low 7s high 6s love your videos takes me back a few years.glad you guys got the rearend fixed.

can you define underrated? they are one of the most loved, revered and built mopars there is
so how and why do you think they are underrated?you know the snake and the mongoose?

when people talk mopar performance its almost always hemi hemi hemi the dusters were family cars darts were considered budget economy cars of the day sure the Lo23 hemi dart was insane but mopar never considered the darts a performance platform they always pointed at the challengers and cudas as the performance platforms. Had they actually gave people what they wanted the same hemi in the demon and demon red eye would have been offered in a dart ! imagine 790hp in the new dart ! that would have made a statement !
