It always amazes me how much folks now want these, but 40 yrs ago, you couldn’t give them away. And yes I wish I still had my 72 Vega GT with the 283 truck motor I swapped out. That was a fun car too.
My first car was a '73 Duster with a 318 V8 automatic It was bought used and I loved every second that I had it. I sold it once I was about to go to the military and I regret selling it everyday. Great video, Thanks for the nostalgia.

When did the rear fold down back seat come, to be an option, I know there was a special edition that had the rear cooldown back seat, it also had a sunroof, it was a special edition ,.I think it*s called Hang Ten.
I'll keep my '73 Duster with factory Hurst 4 spd bored out .030 over with numbers matching. I do like the plum crazy color, but automatic on the column is lame.
