    Take a Brötchen and put a Super Dickmann's in it and smash it.
    Voila a marshmallow sandwich.
    As kids we went to the bakery and bought it there.
    You don't have to peel off the sticker on the Knopper's side.
    Just rip a Knoppers from the block off, it will separate.

    The way you opened the Milchschnitte box gave me anxiety 😂
    About Milchschnitte: It's not meant to be ice cream. It's milk cream. Also it was the first time for me hearing someone describing it as sour. I never thought of it as sour 😅 The chocolate part is not a cookie, nor is it meant to be. It's sweet chocolate bread. "Milchschnitte" literally means milk spread across a bread slice. Milch is milk and Schnitte refers to a slice of bread with something spread on top.

    • @trailblazinpeppers
      @trailblazinpeppers  ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Thank you for explaining that. I think at first the cream tasted like a yogurt to me and that is why it tastes tart. I tried it again yesterday and I liked it better the second time. Thanks for watching!

    Seeing you reacting to all that candies reminded me of my childhood in the 90s. We had a specialty we liked to have a childs birthday party and I am sure your little fella would love to do it. It is the so called "Klatschbrötchen" (=slapped bun). You take a regular breakfast bun, just the simplest, cheap ones, cut it open, and hand it to the kids, together with a dickmanns. And now the fun beginns. They place the dickmann on top of the lower half of the bun, carefully place to top half on top and then... SLAP-HAMMER it with full force with the flat hand. Now it's ready to eat, tastes like a marshmallow sandwich with a bit of chocolate, BUT it is so much fun, to be allowed to smash your food as hard as you like, comparing the results.

    "fun" fact - in germany, superdickmanns (and every other brand that makes them) are also known as "n-word kisses" and some people still use this term, mostly the older generation. BUT, it's not meant as an insult or anything, that's just what some people call this kind of candy. In the 90s, the Kinder Eggs were also like that with small parts. But many children swallowed these little things. And that's why the company tried to change something about it so that it's no longer so dangerous. There were even seasonal characters. For example, a Hippo series of collectible figures I was a big fan of. but it was hard to get a figure that you didn't already have. In the German language the first letter is almost every time spoken, too. So, "Knoppers" is not like in the English "knee", but more like "K-Noppers". There's the problem with the German "sch", too. It's spoken like the English "sh" only to have the "c" added inside. The English pronunciation like "sk" isn't common in German, only few dialects have it. And that's only the very tip of the German language traps. For example, if you have an "e" behind a "A, E, I, O, U" it's for speaking this Letter longer, almost like in English the "ea" in "sea" it's "See" in German (sea is Meer - look another "e" added here, too 😉 See is Lake in German - mostly, but to confuse you, there is the Nordsee - North sea and this is a real Sea...)😂

    • @thorbcrafter997
      @thorbcrafter997 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Actually elongated pronounciation is usually done using double letters or an "h" with "ie" being the exeption there.
      Not to mention the specificly putting an "e" behind "A O U" has a completely different effect as that is the alternativ spelling of the Umlaute so
      Ae = Ä, Oe = Ö and Ue = Ü.
