It is actually nice to drive from Sydney to Melbourne via Canberra and stop at some towns along the way. The ferry between Melbourne and Tasmania is reasonable as well.
But also forgot to add that the production values of this video were excellent! It was well scripted, well put together and engaging. It would be good to get a French take on places closer to home. Like France and Germany so close and yet so far away. Maybe? Maybe not?

I would have also loved to have seen Tasmania and Canberra (a city born of a concept sounds interesting -- like Brasilia) and maybe Perth. Maybe on a future trip!
Tasmania is my favourite place in Australia. It’s just so beautiful. The last time I was there I went to cradle mountain and it was snowing and there were wombats grazing around. I used to live in Canberra. It’s just like a giant office really. The National Gallery there is decent and Parliament House is worth a look. It’s only a three hour bus trip from Sydney. It is outrageous how expensive it is to fly between Melbourne and Sydney. It’s expensive to fly anywhere really. Yeah, you can drive, but you need time. It is actually nice to drive from Sydney to Melbourne via Canberra and stop at some towns along the way. The ferry between Melbourne and Tasmania is reasonable as well.
@@jamesfahey7188 You're lucky to have seen all that. I'll just have to content myself with Europe...
Ha! Not really. Like so many Australians I have seen more of Europe than Australia. Australians always defer seeing their own country.
But also forgot to add that the production values of this video were excellent! It was well scripted, well put together and engaging. It would be good to get a French take on places closer to home. Like France and Germany so close and yet so far away. Maybe? Maybe not?
How sad you learnt nothing of the First Nations people and the fact Australia didn't start when colonised. We have the oldest existing People, culture, spiritualism and diverse languages in the world. How sad you didn't get the opportunity to learn and experience how unique Australia is and that we are far more than a British colony.
Valid point. Glad you saw my superficial video anyway (I wasn't trying for a treatise)
Pokies only in Eastern Australia
Really? I didn't know that (would have loved to have seen Perth, Kakadu, Adelaide, Tasmania... but not enough time!)
You need to worry about the dreaded .. "Drop-Bears"!!! Like huge Koalas but man-eating.... Lol
I thought they were extinct.... eaten by the hoop snakes?
@@amusingaidaWell-researched answer, gets a thumbs-up from me.
