I don't think you could have bestowed higher praise, and having watched your vlog for so long, I am so happy that you felt so welcome here. Its worth noting she's a rabid Putin supporter and member of the oppressively conservative russian orthadox church, which is just a political tool of Putin's.
Not saying she doesn't seem lovely - Just that, if she does support hateful authoritarian imperialists like putin. Then imo she isn't welcome here. Not welcome by me at least.
I think Australia stands for equality, and democracy. It rejects people who support racist and expansionist militaristic autocracies. Again, i'm sure this lady means well but many of her videos veer into pro-state russian talking points. Just keep that in mind

My Russian friend’s relatives came here a few years ago. It was a real blast to show them around and practice Russian. So in return I visited them in Russia a few years ago. Huge distance can’t even break the friendship bond. 🇦🇺🤝🇷🇺 Having said that Russia feels like home too, back then anyway.

What a fabulous beautiful video! And very educational too. You looked like you belong on Bondi Beach, Eli, but of course you’ve got to apply lots of sunscreen. And wear your cute pink hat! In your next video, let’s see you do a little surfing. Or at least ride a boogie board. Although you explored green mountainous areas, don’t forget that there’s a giant outback! If you’re thinking about going there, you might check out the opal mines. And if you visit Darwin on the other end, know that a hurricane destroyed this town on Christmas Day 1974. But they rebuilt.

I wish I had known you were here.
You needed to head further afield of Sydney. While it is a great city, there is so much to offer outside of Sydney.
From west out to Bourke (& beyond) down south where you can drive from the beach to the snowfields in a few hours (in winter anyway) & up north where there are truly some beautiful beaches. And that is just the "tip of the iceberg," so to speak.
Still, great to see you here, enjoying the hospitality & scenery that you did get the chance to see.
Hopefully, it won't be the last time you are here.

You're great Eli, there are true connections between Australians and Russians, and between all human beings across the world. I visited Leningrad in 1983 and had a great time there then - the Russians I met then were lovely! Thank you for making the connection and pushing against the dominant media narratives that are designed to destroy a reaching out between people across the world!

Most people have a broad understanding of how politics and the military conflict with Ukraine does not represent how all Russians feel and that they have been cut off from opinions from the world and threatened if they speak out by Putin's Govt. We can read between the lines and hope for a peaceful future and are not so silly to turn our backs ( most of us I hope) on lovely cheerful Russian guests. P.s Be careful up north when it says danger from crocs they mean it. Down south when it says dangerous surf beach they mean it. The most scary thing you might meet after dark is drunken men.😁☮❤

dominant media narratives are globalism theyre not divisive. Australian Immigration policy where 650- 700000 immigrants are being welcomed into Australia this year and next, hardly a policy designed to destroy a reaching out to other peoples.

My suggestion at this time of year would be to take the highway north to the warmth and stop at as many small places as you can. Talk to everyone. We are all friendly. There is so much to enjoy. Have fun and thankyou for visiting.

4:30 I've actually eaten kangaroo a number of times. It has sorta of a bland taste so it's best to liven it up with seasoning and spices when cooking it. But I've had kangaroo meatloaf, sausages and even made kangaroo lasagne before. Kangaroo meat has a wealth of iron in it and is actually considered to be quite good for you. I too live in Sydney and previously resided in Brisbane
