You have captured Paris with such perfection! First thing I luv how there isn’t a single word of language… but the images are sublime. I am amazed at your photo progression… with a magic drone to bring a rich new dimension to life in Paris. The magic multiple Aidas are a joy… where suddenly there are 5 of you. Thank you for this gift of film-making… it is so amazing in simplicity and a direct connection to the magic of Paris. ❤
Wow, you have no idea how relieved I am to hear that you and others appreciated and understood the fact there is no narration on this one. It's unlike my other videos, and a bit of a risk... but sometimes I feel Paris is best experienced in silence (or with a calming soundtrack!). No magic drone here (it's illegal to fly drones over Paris) but where there's a will there's a way to show Paris at her best!
Thanks! It is in a way -- but there is no great effort in making a love letter to Paris: the aesthetics unfurls before you, and you just have to be there to capture it!
Thank you (and thank you from my dog as well!). I enjoy making these videos, but it means everything to hear that they are appreciated. So thank you again.
Aida, not just a video but a film! Very nice, very creative…lots going on there. Congrats. Well done. My family will be moving to Paris from Canada in….52 more sleeps. I have always enjoyed your Parisian perspective and it helps me prepare for the shock coming in my life. Merci!
Hi Rob - thank you so much for the kind words, which were appreciated all the more because I just watched your last video and I see the skill and effort you deploy on your own channel (which I'm sure will grow amazingly once you get to Paris and show your experiences moving here). I think 'shock' might be overstating it. Probably some techniques to mitigate stress from the move could be needed (especially when you navigate the property market) but it all works out in the end. If you haven't seen them already I could suggest these TH-cam videomakers in Paris to give other insights: @JaySwanson @moyamawhinney @nathanieldrew
Thank you for the kind words. Oh….and let’s not forget @damondominique! Monsieur Damon. So many excellent creators based in Paris, I am very much looking forward to the adventure!
This such a perfect video… ❤ The photography is genius… the message is so clear and artful. Aida… you are an artist! ❤ Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
Merci Buckets! Just the flaneury needed, with special thanks for all the captioned highlights, which don’t break the mood, that will get further exploration. Thanks for the smiles and much affection for the chien & the chat. Paris, je t’aime!
What a beautiful video! Being a huge opera fan, I'm thrilled with your music selection, brava! PS - I have a crush on your dog, and I'm the ultimate cat person :D
Watching videos vs watching them being made is a bit like watching a duck on a pond: above the surface it looks like they're gliding along, underneath they're paddling furiously
Beautifully shot and edited. If you're doing this solo, you've got serious talent and could be making a good living in editing. Do you have a background in film?
I have a pretty varied background, with TH-cam representing something of a break for me to explore my creative side. So much to learn! I think if you look at my channel's progression since it started 10 months ago that I've covered some of that distance (but still have so much further to go!)
My dog is a French breed, but there aren't so many shepherd breeds in the country, and to me he's one of a kind! Thank you for the lovely comment on my video. I enjoyed giving a glimpse of the city through my eyes -- and I hope that it shows it's possible to see this place at a calmer pace, not always rushing...
Beautiful Erik Satie entrance!!! I believe a good video, if still you don't have it, is a about the Restos with Art Nouveau decoration, for example the Resto "Le Train Bleu" o "Brasserie Mollard" and a lot others, or emblematic because they are common places for famous people like Picasso, Picasso used to visit the Cafe de la Flore, and emblematic places in Montmartre.
Glad you appreciate the classical music close to my heart too. Good idea too about those lovely restaurants, maybe sometime I'll do a little video on those, if I have room after dessert.
Facilitation Aida. This was a joy to watch. I’d love to know how you did the multiple Aida’s with an iPhone - perhaps it was the editing software. Also, what was the dessert that you had in the parc with views of the Tour Eiffel ? It looked so delicious. Merci mille fois.
Haha... that one shot was with another little pocket camera that comes with some fun edits. I use it occasionally. And that dessert? I don't remember what they called it... but it was essentially une tarte aux fraises. Recommended!
Very nice work, I would love to visit. So many Films and T.V. series made about the city of light. Dix pour cent and Astrid: Murders in Paris are my favourite's. Polanski's 'Frantic' my favourite film about Paris.
@@amusingaida Amelie is one of my favourites, beautiful, as is Audrey Tautou. I also love Juliette Binoche, she made a film with Catherine Deneuve called 'The truth' (2019) which is excellent. I am about to start watching 'Love and trouble in Paris' have you seen it? So many beautiful French films 'Portrait of a lady on fire' , 'Betty Blue' I could go on.......

This has the feel of a 60's art film. I almost expect to see Audrey Hepburn come into frame.
Audrey Hepburn: One of my favorite stars of the silver screen. Une gamine de glamour. And some of the 60s films were so special....
A well-done love letter to the city.
Thanks! It is in a way -- but there is no great effort in making a love letter to Paris: the aesthetics unfurls before you, and you just have to be there to capture it!
Another great video production! No words are really needed. Being in Paris is perfect ❤!!!
No words indeed.... A little respite from TH-cam narration, and an opportunity to breathe in Paris at an uninterrupted pace (I hope). Thank you.
Magical beyond words.
The black and white photo inserts are great and inventive.
Glad you liked them
Such self content in the city, in the girl. Beautiful! 🐦🐦
Thanks for that!
I've always loved Paris through your eyes. merci ♥
If this finds happiness in your eyes, it may be because if you see Paris you would see some of the same beauty yourself

Well done video. Nicely produced
Thanks. So easy to produce well when the subject enchants all by itself! Paris is a mysterious, bedazzling, elegant, complex city.

Ah, the songs I would need to see which ones I used. But there was no famous chanson, no, because of TH-cam copyright considerations...
