REALLY IMPORTANT, do not put the wrist straps on like it's done in 1:40 , it will lock up and easily break the locks when forced apart! Requering you to buy new controllers. The straps must be opposite from the triggers, use the - and + to be sure it's set correctly. So + + on one and - - on the other. Please do not break your controller by that easy mistake :(

emilebax92 It's actually not that bad anymore, because there is a fix. If you have your wrist strap on the wrong way, above it you will see 2 white
Connectors. Gently pry the connectors and detach your strap. It should come out perfectly with no damage on the joy-con or the strap.

Doesn't read the manual: proceeds to put the joycon strap on the wrong way and damage the joycon
@@erik8617 putting the joycon strap on the wrong way doesn't actually cause any damage to the joycon if you take it off the right way by pressing the button to release the lock on the back of the joycon.

Youd think the symbols on the joycons and the straps are foolproof but these videos show me otherwise

To remove the joy-Cons from the straps put the lock thing in the middle then push the back button of the joy-Cons instead of just pulling it hard

fluffy tony They only charge when connected to the tablet and the dock. However you can buy the charging grip which you can charge the joycons with a USB-C cable.
The joycons hardly use power my were on full while me screen was nearly dead

Johnson Ly you shouldn't, it'll probably be at like 70 percent. But if you do there's instructions on what you need
Johnson Ly it's 50 percent,the switch won't last long but it charges when docked but the joy cons will last 10 hours on 50 percent
Yes u want to charge it, otherwise you'll get battery lock always fully charge your device, run it to 0% and than charge it again at 100% for optimal performance of your battery. I own a switch and I don't need to charge it on my daily activities or on my breaks at work.
