Weeks, thank you so much for explaining and teaching on this subject. I’m so glad to now know how to use stash I have, to make modern quilts. I want to try to make more modern quilts but it seems like every one goes straight to solid colors. For modern quilting. Thanks for teaching how to also use what we have in our stash to make modern quilts also. Super excited to give it a try. ❤
Another added benefit to adding neutrals as backgrounds or sashing is, it can really make the quilt be at home in a room with wood furniture. I imagine a light taupe or khaki can really look great with lighter wood stains, or near carpeting, allowing the quilt to fit the room it is made for.
Where can I find pattern instructions for the "Sunshine Quilt" shown in this video? When I search under that name I get quilts with actual sun's as the pattern!
