      @@sidsingh24 true... I don't need my parents reminiscing "when I was your age" the road in my hometown just recently "repair" so it's better now than when I was in high school. I clearly remember when the bus stuck on a knee length muddy road and we need to push it or dive on a river to pass through other place. I'm still 23 so don't think I'm old. 😅

      @@willnicholson18 the drive was spontaneous. He was only filmed outside the bus at the beginning. The terrain is terrible for driving but not that complicated to film. Key is planning ahead and knowing where the most unforgiving turns are so theu can focus on them.

      As someone who lives in Peru and has gone through that route, I can tell you what happens. If they meet and not collide, then one of them will have to go on reverse until they reach a point where they can park aside from the main road and let the other one pass. True story.

    This is my country :) I was just there last week on the road from Chachapoyas to Rodriguez de Mendoza. The way there was fine but coming back it was dangerous but I would do it again because the adrenaline kicks in. In bicycle would be better. Thumbs up! We Peruvians get hammered by earthquakes, cruel geography, landslides and so forth. But we are still here, we have been here longer than anyone in the Americas and we will still be here after this pandemia dies down. We don't have it as easy as other countries were there is flat lands. Lucky them.

      If this bus goes down some people might survive, chances are much better than dropping from around 30000ft in an airplane😓 but then again, the amount of lives lost on roads far surpasses that of aircraft related fatalities

    In India Himalayas roads are narrow, mountains are fragile, height is most in the world, fully crowded buses plus lots of traffic.

      You are wrong. Tíbet has the highest passes around the world. Keep driving passes from 4500 or 5000 meters to 5400, 5500, 5600 masl. That's just inhuman

      @@jorgegomez9303 yes Tibet is high but it doesn't have deep gorges running along the roads as we find in Himalayas. And add to that the monsoons on some unpaved roads, Tibet, or Peru for that matter, cannot match the difficulty there.

      Plateau has rivers, valleys and passes, not as many but It is.
      Passes:Gyatse La, Segu La, Simi la, Bodpo La, Jang La, Chok La,Pang La,,Chamksang,Thang La, Thong La,Aba La,Thip La, Tanggula La, Mila la,,,,,.
      The list goes on.
      Maybe India has deep gorges and more dificultt passes, but over 5000 m only a few: Leh zone/Ladakh.
      Tíbet is a high Plateau with uncountless square kilometres above 4500+. The highest passes of Asia are in Tíbet Plateau(India nearly). Take a look Aksai Chin or Tangulla Mountains.
      However, I prefered India zone. Ladakh is amazing place to take a bike( high clearance vehicle recomended): Wari La;Kardhung La; Chang La,Marsimilik La,Ane La; Umbing la; Lipu La,,Fotu La,Namika La, Changi la; Kushu La,Shingo La, Sisir La,Shasi La, Chorbat la,Thit Zharbo La,Lanek la, Tsermanghen La, Barachala la,Pensi La,,Archu La, Pangong lake passes
      Lol, you thought I didnt know anything about the topic.
      I think scalade increase over Pangong lake zone, and other zones (LAC), maybe in Sikkim as well ( you know Doklam Plateau)).Take care of China.China is joining lands to its territory.

    He is a true hero!. Years ago I crossed the Andes fom Chile to Argentina in an international bus and it was my worst nightmare as the driver was a young man full of confiden, he was singing and making yokes saying to the passengere" don't be afraid this is like love, you suffer but you don't die. That day they were traveling more young women the same age as him as never before he said, so he was playing the charming laughing, yoking, talking and singing all the way up and down the Andes for those two hours but for me it was an eternity. The crossing is worst and higher that this one in this video.

      It's normal job for drivers In such areas. I lived in a similar area in Indian himalays. The bus drivers are crazy and some fools even try to over take on such narrow roads with 1000 MTR steep falls just to get the passengers before the other bus. They race

    I was on one of these rides in Peru near Machu Picchu. One week later, a part of the curve had collapsed and fell down 40 meters into the cliff. People forget that most of these roads consist of sand, not concrete. This is extremely dangerous
