There's a reason why our little home hardware is still open in my town because the people that work their know their stuff I can't tell you how many times i've gone into home depot or lowes or canadian tire and I get the same deadpan stare.
You can tell this guy has some experience with disguises. The actual stuff he puts on isn't that much but he makes himself appear older. Not many other candidates would do that. I think they don't feel confident enough. BTW, love the dialects in this episode!
I’m really glad that John gave Brad a chance to stay with the company. Sure he says some outrageous things behind closed doors, but I think he is a good person at heart. As he said himself, helping other people makes him feel good. That’s a great attribute to have.

I’m sorry, if an employee is serving someone at the counter, they don’t need to be desperately saying hello to customers that are walking in. I’d rather my staff stay focused on the transaction. It would be embarrassing to over charge the customer or have to repeat the transaction. She’s the kind of officious, squeaky voiced little madam that makes everyone’s life unnecessarily difficult for minimum wage. I would make her “night supervisor”. The illusion of responsibility. That way they are out of sight and think they have stepped up for 25 extra cents an hour. I envy people who are willing to accept these jobs are good enough for them. I’ve had to lower myself to that kind of work at times but if you accept that as your standard then it will be your standard. Unless it is your standard. Then more power to you.
this episode appears to be made for TV set up after set up. can you really just jump on a fork truck and use it, you need a certificate you've been trained to do that in the UK brad? really, he was just playing up for the camera as for the "disguise", no way would a genuine business allow a person looking like that serve real customers. All other staff have uniforms, he looked like a spaced out hippie, not an all American salesman
