I saw Carrot Top in Las Vegas in late August of 2023 and it was one of my highlights of the whole trip. It was a Friday night and the theatre was packed; a group had even booked out the entire first two rows for a birthday. He made jokes about current events that had happened the day before and did a 90 minute set for tickets that cost me $50 each. I have no doubt that he's probably doing Epstein list jokes in his set tonight. Incredible value for the laughs I had that night.
What makes Fluffy enjoyable is that he’s open about his own life and even comfortable to make jokes in his own expense. He always make his stories enjoyable, hilarious, relatable and interesting to listen to

The music going from uplifting and happy when talking about a beloved comedian, to dark and devious when talking about a hated comedian is solid comedy in itself.
Been following Fluffy from Last Comic Standing season 4. To this day, dude deserves every single praise he gets. Literary worked his way up from small bars with tens of people for audience to be a successful voice actor, landed good roles in films and TV series and all this while being a top class comedian with numerous specials in sold out arenas.
Carrot Top is mad underrated. Seriously. If you've never seen some of his act, especially on late night shows, his jokes and props are extremely creative.
And he’s been doing it for years and years, you have to be extremely creative to come up those props and keep it fresh for literal years. I don’t know if he’s still doing shows in Las Vegas but whenever I go back there, I’ll make sure to check him out
I live in Vegas and I can tell you Carrot Top is genuinely a nice, very lovely person with a big heart. And tbh, anyone who says he comes across as a douche hasn't ever actually paid attention to him at all. The just judge him & move on. I can also tell you there was a significant difference between the Tom Segura I met in 2014 and Tom Segura today 😬
Aside from his joke theft, Dane Cook’s primary source of hatred stems from how quickly he became popular. Many comedians have stated out of jealousy or hatred that Dane Cook wasn’t that funny, and he only got famous because he was heavily advertised. Many comedians took years to become famous, whereas Dan Cook starred in two movies (“Employee of the Month” and “Good Luck Chuck”) not long after becoming famous. In other words, many people considered him to be an industry plant rather than an actual comedian. I can see why these comedians feel this way, but I think Dane Cook gets too much hatred.
Yeah but he disappeared almost just as quickly. I’ve not seen anything from him in about a decade, be it stand up or in a movie. Dude just dropped off the face of the earth
Fluffy is legitimately one of my favorite comedians and celebrities ever. I’ve been to one of his shows, and he’s one of the most entertaining, humble, and nicest people I’ve seen. The thing that I love most about him as a comedian is that he always likes to just talk about life and tell his life stories no matter how crazy they may be.
I saw him live in 2021 and his set went on twice as long as scheduled and he spent the last hour drinking a bottle of patron with two guys in the audience and telling us a story about how he ended up naked on stage at a show in Orlando by accident. He’s very down to earth and friendly and the audience loved him.
I remember I went to a show of his and he couldn't do a meet and greet, so he spent literal hours on stage doing a q&a with us. He went way over what he was supposed to perform, but he only cared that we were laughing. Dude is a legend
You didn't mention norm macdonald, the guy spent his entire life making people laugh until the end. Also the great thing about him is that all the best conan clips are clips of norm macdonald
Eh. His stand-ups are funny, but not even his best material. Norm being Norm is his best material. Norm Macdonald Live was some of the funniest stuff he ever did.
I know he was one of the few who were fired from SNL only to later host the show. Damon Wayans is the only other one I can think of off the top of my head. That being said he was the only one with enough class(or lack thereof replaced by sardonic bluntness) to point out them letting him host wasn't because his material got better, the show's just gotten really bad.
I finally got to see Gabriel Iglesias live a few months ago after being a fan since I was a child. He is such an amazing storyteller and so damn hilarious. His energy is infectious and welcoming. It's kinda like visiting family and your uncle starts telling stories. Love that guy and I can't wait to see him again.
And don't forget the insanely realistic sounds he can make and impressions of people that sound just like the actual people! Just adds to the whole immersion.
I disagree, and he’s been getting a lot of exposure worldwide because of Rogan. It’s just because he speaks to all the right wing nuts in America. Boring

Theo is indeed unique. You just can't hate the guy even if he was insulting you, which I don't think he would do anyway. Brendan schaub reminds me of that kid in school who secretly snitched on everyone, but couldn't understand why nobody would hang around him.
@@rachelmarie7473they are NOT friends. Schaub was very good at that, enough so to be the guest on Joe Rogan’s podcast with the highest number of visits. He even got to Rogan to claim Brenda is a good friend. A lot of Brenda’s opportunities and connections came directly from being friends with Rogan.
The Carlos Mencia always blows my mind cause until he got exposed, he was suppose to be the heir apparent to Dave Chappelle as far as Comedy Central was concerned. They gave him specials always used him as promotional material for the channel itself. Crazy how you can lose all of that. Then again it’s not like he ever earned it legit
Carrot Top is actually pretty funny, I love his usage of props and power points. I saw him when I was 16 at circus circus, he gave out crown royal to the crowd.
I've never cared for his comedy, but I respect the hell out of him. Heard a handful of interviews with a wide variety of people over the decades with him and he's just a G. Works hard (had a residency in Vegas for a looooong time), keeps himself in peak shape, and can chill and hack it with comedians and interviewers. He's come off like a very chill but calculated man.
Yeah seems most of the hatred towards him as shown was just that some people thought he was unfunny. Even Bill Burr apologized to him when they met in person.
Glad to see Theo getting tue recognition and praise he deserves. I discovered him a few months ago and binged a lot of his videos. Man is truly hilarious without even trying all the time
If you aren’t already doing it, I’d really like to see a “most hated vs most loved musicians” video. Music and the music industry are one of my biggest hyperfixations at the moment, (particularly from the 60s-90s) and I’d love to see you cover some of my favourites from that time period.
If there's hate for Carrot Top it hasn't translated to fans. He's had a successful show in Vegas for like 20 years. If you understand how insanely hard that is to pull off.. he's definitely more loved than hated.
Damnit , well done video. I tend to find these “ this comedian is a douche” type videos lame and pretentious. You somehow managed to make this succinct , informative and entertaining. The fast pace and the transitions are amazing Edit - I think it’s because you balanced it with the positive ones. Just well done
This video states a lot of facts and the humor is just to make it easily digestible for folks who don’t like these facts. Yknow, sugar coat it for you so it isn’t icky because talking about this stuff is not a positive experience for some folks. Sunny V isn’t being vindictive or specificity targeting someone, and these facts are pretty undeniable.
Carrot Top actually had me laughing in those clips about the jet flyover. He might be juiced up and botoxed to the gills these days, but he does seem like a genuinely nice and funny person.
It’s crazy to me to think that a great comedian like Tom would actually take his “Cajun” joke into real life and start calling people poors like it’s an actual slang metaphor. 💀💀💀
Its like when bert kreischer was saying "the comic's brain is so different from the civilians brain" or something like that, as if he's some sort of mentally evolved being and everyone else is just some sort of brainless caveman
The money is really going to the heads of a lot of these comedians. Joe Rogan Dave Chappelle Bet Chrysler Tom Segura Sure these dudes got older but look how drastically they changed now that they’re millionaires. Chappelle isn’t even hilarious anymore. All he does now is complain and lecture you during his special lol

Can’t stand when someone has a long intro and then says “let’s jump straight into it” when they are already over a minute into the video.
Most of the hatred surrounding Dane Cook isn't because of his joke stealing (Amy Schumer stole jokes and every comedian defended her). It's because of how massively successful he was (and how quick he got there). Bill Burr talks about how insanely jealous a lot of comedians were.
Naw... They hate him for being a thief lol they absolutely hate Amy too. I don't know who you're talking about other than wokies ... Like maybe Whoppi Goldberg might defend Amy but not many others. Guaranteed Bill Burr wouldn't call her a good comedian 😂😂😂
I like how he used a joe rogan clip for theo von but not one for dane. Thats because joe actually defends dane just like your saying. He got too big too fast and people didnt like it.

I can also tell you there was a significant difference between the Tom Segura I met in 2014 and Tom Segura today 😬
This is a very well written video. Love the natural segues to each comedian.
