I met Vsauce a few years ago at a British TH-camr con and he was absolutely lovely. His line was shorter than most, but it took a full hour to get through ~20 people because he and Jake would actually have full conversations with people and answer science questions. Absolute 10/10 bloke.
Lemmino has also an extremely great reputation. Very humble and people have will honestly wait over a year for his documentaries since we know he puts a lot of work into them.
I might be thinking of a different guy but didn't he post some misinfo and then took the video down when he found out he messed up? He is a pretty cool guy or team or whatever the channel is. Really cool
Thanks for another amazing video Sunnyv2! You're a legend for the way you document topics and love your stuff! Let's not forget YOU! dude you're amazing
Steve Wallace didn't deserve anything that happend to him. He's an extremely good guy who was kicked while he was down. Even with all that happened he got right back up and continued to live his best life.
Steve is an amazing creator he routinely posts his location when hes in a new city and invites people to join him for drinks. He moves around BC a lot and just a genuinely amazing guy
Vsauce is like the modern Bill Nye, but better and actually teaches you something. He finds the most interesting topics and explains them in a way that a 12 year old, or a 35 year old will both find interesting and understand. His content is as good as it was the first day it dropped too, you just have to love and respect what that guy brings to the world.
i think people say bill nye isnt a good teacher cause of his political views. but obviously vsauce is a different level because hes actually entertaining on top of everything. numphile/sixty symbols is more lots of info but plainer format.
Vsauce is literally so respectable. He made my childhood by answering my questions and giving me interest to studying, which increased my academy so much. Michael is a great person, and so kind.
Been watching youtube for over 7 years now, and still dont get bored of them. I've had friends say that theyre childish, but i think that theyre just fantastic people in general. So much so that ive made a Battle video, just like theirs on this channel of mine. Much love to all the other fans and creators in the list! xxx
Markiplier should be on this list just for the 6 million fan video alone. During his interview with Anthony Padilla, he explained his reasoning for crying and it's genuinely one of the most wholesome and saddest things I've ever heard.

this really makes me appreciate my bubble, there is a lot of great people on this platform, some are smaller creaters, others quite big. Obviously Sunny covers international/english speaking channels here, but you will find them anywhere else as well. Now there are plenty youtubers i really stand behind, being entirely without controversy and just going by reputation is tough though. Top of my head I'd want to mention Coldmirror, a german youtube legend that is probably as unhated as could be. I'm sure many younger people on here wouldnt even know her anymore, but shes been consistently, uploading and consistenly being loved for it. Something else I realised is just how much more honest people are that started youtube before you could make money on here.
Nigahiga is honestly up there. I know he retired effectively from TH-cam, but still was one of the best to ever done it. 14 years of rather charming, natural, high-quality content, and not one bad thing I heard from anyone about him. My pick for the greatest TH-camr. Another person I would have put on this list is definitely Ryan Trahan. A major breath of fresh air. Still can’t fathom how that penny video worked out to breakout his career.
Another honorable mention in my opinion is Markiplier. Been doing TH-cam for a long time and back in the day he had EVERY 13-17 year old watching his videos, the same fanbase that caused quite a few channels to be outed for being terrible people by said underage fans. But Mark has been nothing but extremely respectful and accommodating for fans, has constantly been a good role model, and seems genuinely thankful for the life he's gotten after growing up without much. I was one of those teenagers watching him back in the day and his content has subtly changed as he's gotten older, and I'm proud to say he's one of the few channels I didn't age out of going into adulthood.
what amazes me the most about dude perfect is how they are still this good friends after having done this for so long, so many other youtuber groups drift apart from eachother in one way or another after a while, yet they seem as close as they where before. i have watched several of these channels in the past, and while i stopped watching most of them (and never watched others) due to it just not being in my interests anymore, i still wish them the best of luck in their lives and that they keep doing what they do
I love Steve. Dude is why Canadians get the reputation of being so nice. Steve is one of the best humans that this world has produced. He deserves everything great that comes his way.
The man seriously only deserves good in life. I felt so sorry for him when his wife passed, and even more when his mom passed. A guy like him doesn't deserve such a rough year. Proud of him how he's handeling it though, being so open and such.
I think markiplier should have possibly made this list for being such a loved, popular and consistent let’s player whilst also dealing with his own problems which he is not afraid to talk publicly about
Man, Steve and Brody are two of my all time favorite internetainers, and if you had absolutely nothing but these two men to learn every single moral in life you would ever learn, you would be the most outstandingly pure human being to ever walk this earth, I love Steve because he's a local Edmontonian and just an all around "Good Ole boy" as well as fellow outdoorsman. And i love Brody because he has ADHD like myself and instead of using it as an excuse to fixate and procrastinate, he-like myself-uses it as fuel and hyperness he needs to just enjoy life to the fullest, and on top of that, I'm terrified of the ocean, and it being my only real phobia am naturally DEEPLY fascinated by it. By showcasing the absolute beauty of the big drink, Brody inspired me to face my fears and (PUN INTENDED) take the plunge, and I'm SO glad I did it and cannot wait to dive in to it again(Pun also intended)
The part where laserbeam said "I have trouble with anxiety I feel like I'm dying" resonated with me cause I feel that way too for the past year or so. Love honestly in this guy
Yeah in the miles of dirt there will be hidden gems, but you just have to look for them. (Metaphor for looking for positivity and not consuming negativity)
ThatWasEpic is another TH-camr that has an impeccable reputation. He’s been on the platform for a long time and he helps people in need, even thru his pranks which are never harmful or too over the top.
I watched Steves stealth camping videos with my dad and we used to love them, a good guy and very down to earth i have the absolute most respect for him.
It truly warms my heart to see people recognizing Steve.. I found him due to the roundabout video.. and when I found out his wife passed.. it truly hurt me… because he is such a nice guy who just enjoys camping
Dude, I feel it, was shattered. I found him when I was at a low point in my life and it was a habit to go to bed while watching his videos. Seeing this guy who gave me some solace and made my life a lot brighter hurting hit me
I found him because of that video as well. I always loved and still do love his content. I am not above admitting that I cried with the video of his wife's passing.
So happy to see Steve Wallis getting recognition for all the work he does with his videos, especially in the aftermath of his wife's death. He is amazing and I love looking forward to every one of his updates, like nearly everyone on this list.
I was happy to see Steve on here too. I wanted to mention I found it really worth of respect how he handled things when people tried to speculate over his wife’s death. People wanted to speculate about it being Covid related or vaccine related but Steve spoke out in a way without elaborating or saying what people were saying online and made it clear it was no one’s business. he wasn’t going to let his wife’s death become some political talking point for any sides agenda.
@@MrInfinity418I was so angry with the people who tried to politicize and speculate on her death. They tried to do it with another TH-camr (Ready to Glare) when her husband passed away around the same time. Acting like they aren't real people grieving over their spouses' real passing.
I have been watching Dude Perfect continuously with my dad for a bit more than 5 years now. And I can say that they truly are the definition of TH-cam Excellency! I actually got the amazing chance to go see them on their live tour with my dad back in 2021, and it was a blast! The dudes are just so wonderful and do nothing but put a smile on peoples faces!
Well, no surprise Matt is one of this list. The guy genuinely modest and very transparent thru all his video. Loved his passion and effort doing things he loves.
Markiplier is another big one honestly, the way he handles his money, and his attitude towards respect and dignity. Unless im unaware of any controversies with him, he is a man that others can learn from in life.

What a list! Most I knew, a few I did not. If a second video is ever made on the same topic, I feel that Mark Wiens has to be at the top! amazing travel and food dude... Literally my comfort watching, after Anthony Bourdain passed.
There should definitely be a sequel to this video, I feel like there are just so many other channels you could add to the list, e.g. Tom Scott, Ryan Trahan, Anthony Padilla, even Markiplier, CoryxKenshin, Jacksepticeye, DanTDM are the first names I can think of, there are just so, so many more people you could add to this list!

You've never seen charlie from penguinz0? I can't even open TH-cam without seeing his face.... I knew most of the people on the list.... But I didn't know the Lazer guy... And a couple others...
Camping With Steve is an amazing channel and id really advise you to go back and watch his videos. Some of my favourite ones are where he and crazy neighbor make a raft and (very slowly) drift down a river and the ones where he ends up making his tent too warm on the inside whilst its an actual blizzard outside 😂
Steve Wallis is my favorite TH-camr of all time. Thank you for putting him on this list so people who have never heard of him can be made aware of his existence. I think the fact that his segment in this video is the longest may speak about how beautiful and entertaining him and his community are.
James A. Janisse over at DeadMeat is one of the best creators on this platform in my opinion, super great guy with amazing content and just a real friendly demeanour!
I loved this video man, instead of always analyzing the negatives and controversies and making such people even more relevant, we should talk about good people like these more often.
While I wholeheartedly agree, controversy tends to be more viral and therefore more documented than positive things. Sad world we live in. 'Bout time we made a change.
If you were to do part two, StampyLongHead absolutely deserves a top-three spot at the very least. He managed to form a childhood for so many people, all because he made content with the purpose of watching his audience grow. Not a Singular penny was made from his content, just because it was never about money; it was about making another life happy. He still makes consistent content, even today, too! Edit: As of today, Stampy has officially ended his series. Just want to say, it has been an amazing series he made, and I'm glad I could have been there to watch some of the journey
@@curry42069 I looked at his channel again, and I saw he was referencing an end to this series. I thought he would continue to the 1000s, but I guess he has other things more necessary than his Lovely World.
I feel like DanTDM should also be on this list. He's been a positive force on TH-cam for years. He practically raised millions of people and many more (myself included) grew up watching him. Look at the the comments on his recent videos and it's all positivity and admiration.
I think NigaHiga is another channel that could be on this list. Despite all of his years on TH-cam he’s never got into controversy and kept making content that he loved. And when he started to feel burnt out, he simply stopped making content and didn’t make a big deal out of it. If you look at the comments on his last video they are all supportive and positive
@@vosamul The controversy with Paco, that's not really Ryan or the rest of his crew's fault, and iirc he got rid of him as soon as they were aware of his situation right? Regarding the cheating allegation, he tweeted that he did not cheat on her, so take that as you will. I think Ryan began to lose his spark with YT once his best friend Sean left for study, and then there's RHPC members leaving one by one to pursue their own stuff. It's reasonable to feel burnt out after putting out content for over a decade; at least he left YT with the status of a legendary content creator. Compared to the fellow 1st gen TH-camr, his reputation is generally positive and beloved.
I never expected steve and ybs to be here, i really thought they were obscure ytbers that were unrecognised. Its so great ti see that many people love and respect them too

He's doing an important job to show us the many different people and communities around the world and how they live an think. I think he deserves to be on this list since he's a very chill, respectful and profesional youtuber while interacting with other cultures.
yep Peters the best! Also that one guy who interviews anyone who has a story from skid row or LA in general deserves a mention too. I think the channels called "fringes" or something like that.
Similar to Peter Santenello there's Drew Binski who goes to every country he can and always treats each country with respect, immersing himself and showing the culture of the every day person. Another honorable mention is Townsends, 18th century cooking channel. Guy is super humble and is probably one of the least controversial people out there.
Loved the vid, a nice wholesome change from the usual darker toned vids, the only thing I’d change would be to have DanTDM on the list or an honorable mention
I wasn't expecting to see Steve Wallis get mentioned, but im glad you included him. The community of genuinely nice people he's managed to amass is nothing but amazing
the french version of Vsauce but even older who also gets 0% of hate is "Jammy" who started out on a channel named 'c'est pas sorcier" which is still very used by schools to teach about science history and other things today he holds his own channel Jammy - Epicurieux and everyone loves his videos explaining various things in detail and he is a very reliable source
My honorable mention is SunnyV2. He makes great videos, and is a great youtuber who can shine a light on good youtubers and make fun of bad channels. I love him
I'm surprised Mr Ballen isn't on this list? He comes across as very genuine, doesn't shy away from his battle for mental health after leaving the armed services and has also started his own charity. Good guy.
My honorable mention is DashieXP/DashieGames! NOT ONLY has this man been able to stay both RELEVANT AND FUNNY for 10+ years, but he's had almost NO HATE, NO CRITICISM, and NO REASON to be cancelled! And over the years, he's taken better care of himself, lost SO MUCH weight, and opened up about the MANY years we didn't know ANYTHING about his background! I can't EVER see Dashie being controversial in ANY WAY
"Mah dry bread" would have been a good fit for this list. He's just a canadian let's player who has a couple of disabilities but has a positive outlook on life and doesn't try to milk it. He uploaded videos pretty much daily for ten years without really exploding subscriber-wise, but he managed to get a minor breakthrough with his Pokemon challenge videos. The money he got from that, he used to buy his mom a better apartment since her current one wasn't good. He's such a sweetheart!
Charlie was the TH-camr that got me into TH-cam content. I started watching him 11 years ago, and I’m so proud to see how far he has come without changing who he is.
I used to be a big fan, but over the years his channel has just become a slop channel. It's either huge drama this huge drama that. He doesn't even make it fun, all it is is just him narrating in a boring monotone voice cracking centuries old jokes. It used to be a lot more entertaining but it's just become a boring slop channel adding basically nothing to it.
I started watching him in 2017 cause my ex loved him and I've only ever seen like one bad take from him (on his YT channel the podcast is a different story) he seems like a really cool person
there is another youtuber i hope you would cover some day called dan hurd prospecting, i don't remember how big he is but almost every video of his makes me smile
Ashens deserves an honorable mention. 1.5m subs. Stuart has been out here making videos even before TH-cam existed and he's never gotten into any controversy and is just a wonderful man. He's also the only TH-camr (in my opinion) that actually managed to make not one, but two great feature films based on his content.
Lazarbeam is definitely one of the most real TH-camrs I have ever come across. He always comes across as a genuine and a no bs kind of guy. He makes high quality content with no expenses spared. Not to mention how much he donates. He 100% deserves the title, Bloody Legend.
Honestly it was surprising to me when I realized to that he was on the list, he's a cussing dude that makes.. content with adult themes, yeah let's call it that. Or at least it was that way as far as I knew laser beam, so it was surprising to see him on this list. But looking back at it, Laser Bean was as he was described in the video. If only I could have noticed that way back then, and truly appreciated him when I still watched his content.
Honorable mention for a fun guy you probably don’t know about, “Bricky”. Generally I say this for his direct honesty, his passion, and his humor. He says when stuff gets hard and has series in which he talks about stuff, but he also plays Battlebit Remastered, shits on Bobby Kautick or however you say his name, and does a bripple stream. Genuinely an amazing guy. I’m probably biased because I’m a fan but I truly gladly am to be biased

Vsauce is like the modern Bill Nye, but better and actually teaches you something. Markiplier should be on this list just for the 6 million fan video alone. During his interview with Anthony Padilla, he explained his reasoning for crying and it's genuinely one of the most wholesome and saddest things I've ever heard.

Crazy Neighbor is up there too.

this really makes me appreciate my bubble, there is a lot of great people on this platform, some are smaller creaters, others quite big.
I was so happy when i saw you mention Steve.
That man is just so heartwarmingly geniuine. I wish him nothing but the absolute best.
You just brung back some memories

Niga? What u talking about bro u clearly never heard about racism
Nigahiga isnt retired im pretty sure, he made a new gaming channel
I'd mention Grant Thompson
I was waiting for Mark in this video. He is definitely one of the best youtubers out there.
But randomly attacks people/gets political on twitter for brownie points
i love mark, watched endless hours of his videos. But, hes a fake person. Great content but i cant help but feel like that..

Dude I love Vsauce. Love the love that sunny showed for him. You did him and all of the others justice
what amazes me the most about dude perfect is how they are still this good friends after having done this for so long, so many other youtuber groups drift apart from eachother in one way or another after a while, yet they seem as close as they where before.
i have watched several of these channels in the past, and while i stopped watching most of them (and never watched others) due to it just not being in my interests anymore, i still wish them the best of luck in their lives and that they keep doing what they do

And when he started to feel burnt out, he simply stopped making content and didn’t make a big deal out of it. If you look at the comments on his last video they are all supportive and positive
++. A big feat especially considering he's been around since the beginning of TH-cam pretty much
yeah but the reason for his channels breakdown was a controversy surrounding one of his friends who worked on the channel
He did get himself into a few controversies though:
-Him cheating on his girlfriend
-Ex member of RHPC Paco (alleged rapist)
@@vosamul The controversy with Paco, that's not really Ryan or the rest of his crew's fault, and iirc he got rid of him as soon as they were aware of his situation right? Regarding the cheating allegation, he tweeted that he did not cheat on her, so take that as you will.
I think Ryan began to lose his spark with YT once his best friend Sean left for study, and then there's RHPC members leaving one by one to pursue their own stuff. It's reasonable to feel burnt out after putting out content for over a decade; at least he left YT with the status of a legendary content creator. Charlie was the TH-camr that got me into TH-cam content. I started watching him 11 years ago, and I’m so proud to see how far he has come without changing who he is.
I was a fan of his for over a decade but he has turned into a drama content channel and can be very hypocritical or contradict himself.
I used to be a big fan, but over the years his channel has just become a slop channel. It's either huge drama this huge drama that. Lazarbeam is definitely one of the most real TH-camrs I have ever come across. He always comes across as a genuine and a no bs kind of guy. He makes high quality content with no expenses spared. Not to mention how much he donates. He 100% deserves the title, Bloody Legend.
I rlly like him too! ❤
Yea but he has been in controversies
Bloody legend
Honorable mention for a fun guy you probably don’t know about, “Bricky”. Generally I say this for his direct honesty, his passion, and his humor. He says when stuff gets hard and has series in which he talks about stuff, but he also plays Battlebit Remastered, shits on Bobby Kautick or however you say his name, and does a bripple stream. Genuinely an amazing guy. I’m probably biased because I’m a fan but I truly gladly am to be biased
Great video! I think an honorable mention should go to Brady from Practical Engineering 😊
