    I wasn't the biggest fan of the spindle grill, but recently Lexus has been pulling it off very nicely with the LC, LS, and now the ES. Their design language seen in the interior has also matured, but the exterior even more so. My coworker bought this over the 2019 A6, and I can definitely see why just off the looks.

    One thing about this I do really like is the mix between digital and physical dials. Looks really smart especially when the car is off.

      I also like to have some analogue dials. Overall I was actually very impressed by the car. I think it could do very well for them over here.

      This may make Lexus a genuine German brand competitor. I was really impressed with the NX when it first came out. the only reason I went for a CLS instead was the boot size.

      It really could! The model shown here is £35k brand new.

    Wish you had done a review with a two tone coloured leather interior on the full Takomi option available with the rear adjustable seat controls and more.

      I would have preferred that too, but this is all they had...

    Amazing review, very good shots, love the details. What do you thik about including the ground clearance of the cars that you review? Just a suggestion, I find it useful.

      Thank you. I often include ground clearance and only don't if I can't find it.

    All the design is mental. The only thing is that the ES in my opinion would deserve coloured leather...and another wheels (In Executive or FSPORT leathers and wheels are superbs )

      You can get flare red leather in the ES F Sport (and probably other colours too).

    You didn't lift up the panel under the boot where the jack, etc are stored; is there a spare wheel under there for the UK market? An American TH-cam video on the ES300H revealed what looked like a space saver.

    • @Galaxy89cars
      @Galaxy89cars  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I certainly did! 16:37

      @@Galaxy89cars Well, nearly! I'm talking about lifting the polystyrene under the boot floor to see what's underneath - see this US ES300H video to illustrate: th-cam.com/video/M0mR7CfHql4/w-d-xo.html
      ... the US version seems to have a different layout on the polystyrene packaging - e.g. no car jack but it does have a space saver (even though the guy calls it full size).
      Thanks for the video!

    • @r0ut366
      @r0ut366 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      So ... did you lift the polystyrene panel?
      I'm guessing there was nothing underneath it, but that a space saver spare wheel would fit in the space?

    • @r0ut366
      @r0ut366 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      OK, Somebody else answer my question. There IS space for a space-saver wheel. Click here: th-cam.com/video/c2-gy-SHhfA/w-d-xo.html
