    For all the beginners out there, a increase (also known as inc) means two stitches in the same spot. and sc means single crochet! Dec (decrease)means that you make one stitch, using two. There are plenty of tutorials on TH-cam as it’s sort of hard to explain-

    • @Hazelw00d_

      What does st and dec mean. Im a beginner so I don’t know what son of those things mean TvT

    • @noodle-
      @noodle- ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@Hazelw00d_ st stands for stitch, and dec is a decrease! There are many tutorials on TH-cam for a decrease, it’s pretty much the opposite of a increase where you crochet 2 stitches in one. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense

    For anyone who is asking if this pattern works with other yarns, I tried doing this with a 4 medium worseted yarn and it worked but I had to modify it. For the parts that tells you to do "3 double crochet together in same stitch" I just did a classic bobble stitch.

    I keep having issues with the stitch count of row 3. How many stitches are you supposed to end that round with? 18? I keep getting way more than that

    • @beaglesforlife3361
      @beaglesforlife3361 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      So you end with 18 stitches. You are most likely making the same mistake as I did. Rather than doing 3 whole dcs in one stitch, you ar going to start the same way you do a double crochet, and pull through the first two loops, but instead of finishing. The stitch, you start the next dc. Once you’ve done the first half of all three, you should have four loops on your crochet hook. Yarn over and pull through all 4. If you need a better explanation, this is typically called a 3 double crochet Cluster. You should be able to find some tutorials online.

    7. Sc, dec, sc, 3 double crochet in one, sc, dec, sc, 3 double crochet in one, [dec, sc] 2 times

      @@buggy-boy yes I did! For the eyes when she does ‘3 double crochet together in the same stitch’ I did four! It just makes them pop out more and I like the look of that better. Another thing is I did an invisible decrease instead of a regular decrease! The invisible just looks soooo much better with worsted weight yarn!

    Problem was I didn't understand as when I got to 3 in the same I was at the end of my row where my clip was, I just can't get it.

    For row 7 it says 7 dec but you only have twelve stitches, which means you can only do 6 decreases, so how do you do the 7th

    Hiii I love and appreciate your videos so much, they are so helpful, relaxing, inspiring and comforting!! ❤️☺️Could you pretty please do a goose or a husky? someone I love very much loves those animals and I would really like to crochet them for a personal Christmas present but not sure how 😅
