    This is a great listen. I had a colonoscopy to confirm nothing else was going on before they said I have IBS. I tried going off of my birth control in October and almost immediately started struggling with my period again. Really searching for answers.

    Endometrial tissue (tissue from the lining of the uterus) grows outside of the uterus and can wrap around internal organs, including parts of the colon.
    When someone has endometriosis, or even chronic pelvic pain, I've found most experience IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
    The higher your stress levels, the more likely you are to have a flare with either of these conditions.

      These symptoms causes stress. That's the thing they don't understand.
