Awesome, more option.I think that dials for adjustment is pretty huge thing, especially since you can really fine tune it compared to stock interface.I am personally waiting for VR cover interface tho it seems like it won't come, and if it doesn't,this will be my go to,I don't want to risk it not fitting well with me since I am using bobo S3.But looks like one of better facial interfaces. As always lovely and interesting review, love your content, feels comfy and not mass produced taste like with bigger channels, keep on great work!

When I bought my Quest 3,I had no intentions on upgrading anything..I finally broke down and bought the BoboVR S3 Pro head strap and it’s such a major improvement over the original.they only thing I don’t like it the fact the fan just blows on your forehead.I was hoping it would go down into the headset to prevent lens fog.I’m pretty sure AMVR also makes a facial interface with built in fans.I seen one on Amazon and I know it would help prevent lens fog.I might get it next
I have the s30pro and the fan actually blow air on my face and lens, depends the way you tilt the quest 3 and the hight you wear the quest 3 , I believe you have a weird angle and wrong height, it also depends maybe on your head shape/eyes height , but the fan of s30pro actually works like a dream if you wear the quest 3 right , big difference
@@tech-no-logictech9743 I have the s3 pro and the older amvr interface. Personally the lip of the amvr take up so much room to the point where u can have it either under the strap and not be able to use the fan or over it to where it kind of pushes on the top of your cheeks would try to find one on amazon but they are pretty low quality so probably just look somewhere like kiwi and something that has a small upper lip profile.

Bobo S3 is such bad design that you can’t even wear a facial interface and use the fan 😂 without the facial interface the fan works correctly, but with a interface it doesn’t work at all. bad design, should’ve bought a cheaper headstrap
Knobs are awesome the other solution felt like i was breaking it every time. I agree with you though they are missing on the face pads i think AMVR as company would be surprised how many would buy just a pack of fresh face pads or thicker options of face pad. Wish someone with maybe a creator code.... haha could get in their ear on this.
Great review! And glad AMVR adjusted the interface to fit charging docks for the Quest 3; however, the Quest 3S does not have those contact point on the bottom so the old interface would be just fine. And the upper part can still interfere with the halo strap, but I’m sure it can be manipulated to work. I still love my Oblik but this modified interface should be a good choice for many Quest 3 owners
Excuse me sir, the proper term is a 'Big Brain Pan'. At least that's what I have been telling people for years when the ask about my hat size of 8 (64 cm). Oh, and thanks for the video, I will be checking out the AMVR face pad.
How do you take it off the Quest 3? The top part does not go in and out with the knobs and seems like it is jammed The knobs will just barely make it go all the way in like there is something jamming them.
Nice work on this review. This new version just arrived today. Time will tell how the overall comfort/fit is as I get it dialed in. However, on mine, the knobs click nicely in one direction, but not in the other. Faulty?
Thanks for the video, but I still haven't figured out if this new AMVR mask is suitable for BoboVR S3 Pro mounts? I want to order a helmet with this mount, but since my wife and son will also use the helmet, I'm worried that the mask won't fit. Or will everything be fine?
@@MyTechGearGaming Yes, I saw this moment on video. But I still can't decide if this mount is suitable for my family. I haven't bought a helmet yet. I expect to get a better price. Nope get the globular cluster f3 or even better dont get nothing ! Thanks again for the video. I would like to ask I have a problem that no matter how I adjust the mask, there is still a small piece near my nose that I see my room, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. How do I make it completely dark?
It really does depend on your nose and face shape. Do you only see your room if you look down? You could try moving the headset further up your face or angling it slightly to see if that helps.
Hey there! Tried to use your code but they were offering a 15% discount on single items and it wouldn't allow me to apply it. Thank you for the review.
Companies dont generally allow you to apply more than one discount code, so no worries. You'll have to let me know what you think of it when it arrives.
The 3S needs 3S specific facial interfaces. AMVR have released some 3S facial interfaces. I’ve reviewed them before so I recommend checking that video out.
I like the version 1 better, because you can adjust the top and bottom corners to be at different distance settings. That way I can make it fit me better.
Solid review. Not the perfect facial interfaces but definitely a solid option for the price. Ive heard Oblix has a better more custom fit but its about 3x more expensive.
The second version has pretty bad light leakage. You could even see the light gaps on their press shots. I hope this is an improvement. I would'nt buy direct from AMVR as they have bad customer service, as in, they just ignore you. It is safer to buy from amazon to get the return option.
This is definitely better than the previous version. I don't see amvr selling it on Amazon yet but as soon as they do I'll update the links in the description.

3:20 - what is "elite type headstrap" ?
Check out this video where I look at halo vs elite head straps => th-cam.com/video/4IwoyxzE03A/w-d-xo.html
Meta has it's own premium head strap called the Meta Quest Elite Strap, so the video was talking about a head strap that looks/functions similarly.
But now with that dials is compatible with custom design bags? thanks
Ordered mine and it came broken near the nose piece. It felt extremely flimsy and low quality overall.

Is this the one that has the cooling gel?
It has the ice cool silk face pad as well as the PU leather one, yes.
On the old one the nose parts I could feel digging into my nose. Have they fixed that with this one?
Are you talking about the edges of the lenses digging into your nose or from the actual facial interface itself?

Really great review thanks - I suffer a bit with sinus pain - does anyone know if this interface helps with the pressure on your face?
A halo style head strap would really help as it can take a lot of that clamping force off your face.

your opinion doesn’t matter unless you own both

The quest 3 and 3S are shaped differently so a facial interface for one will not work on the other.
