This is free motion quilting. I call this double curls border. The verigated thread shows up so nice! When you get to a corner, don't panic! Just fill in with the same shapes and keep going ;)

I’m curious as to why anyone would give this a thumbs down. Regardless of wether you like the actual quilt design it really is effective and quite beautiful. Well I for one gave it a big thumbs up.

Beautiful. When you start the design do you start at one of the corners or in the middle somewhere?
I usually start on the left side, go up and across the top, then down the right side as far as I can. Then finish row, advance quilt and continue Borders.

Sometimes... If the body of the quilt is really light and border is dark.

Hi Adria, do you normally quilt the borders first and work your way to the center of the quilt, or does it matter which way you start?
I think I just couldn't decide what to do on the border, so I started on the inside first....
