Hey, what happened to your polar plunge tank? And why is Grim named Grim? [In American English "grim" means gloomy or forbidding.] And do people drive along the beach? It looked like there were tracks.
So many wardrobe changes ... it's a real fashion show!!! LOL!!! xxx
What breed is your dog?
Im interested in how much you clean. Your house always looks immaculate. Any special products - removing Grim's fur....
You're welcome Darlin' 😘
I love how all over the world, people's days are made, when they cut open an avocado and it's PERFECT. ❤
"I have been asked to cook Christoffer breakfast. This is an honour." Love it 😂😂 Hope he's feeling better now. Cheers from Melbourne Australia, where our winter maximum temp is roughly the same as your summer maximum temp 😅
The temps is the same for my winter. I could totally live there during their summer.
I laughed at that too 🤣
From Melbourne too but I do love spending Melbourne summers in the cold more so in Iceland and north of Norway. Every time I'm in Tromsø, I think about popping over to Svalbard but never got round to it. One day.
You should make a blog of you and Christopher shooting the rifle ! And, the story of how you both learned to shoot , type of weapons you have ,etc.
We call the breaded cod sticks you had for dinner 'fish fingers' in the UK and it's a staple kids meal with baked beans & mashed potato - still one of my favourite comfort meals now as an adult
Fish finger butties….can’t beat them 😊
Same is the US as a child---fish sticks with baked beans, and mashed potatoes was the best !!
Cecilia uploads, and I instantly click on it, it’s just the way it is 😊❤
Agreed ❤
best part of a sunday morning!
Definitely. Thanks to Cecilia I’m now eating hummus (and sharing with my dog) at 10:30 in the morning 😊
Same here
Same!! It has become part of my Sunday morning routine ❤
What’s so fascinating to me about this video is that I was expecting somethings so much more “foreign” as an American… but this was very Pacific Northwest in your for choices your daily activities, watching below deck, drinking monster, your water bottle that everyone in Los Angeles carries around, your wardrobe, hair clip that everyone in LA is wearing, baking banana bread ! It’s so global so fun.
Eating Philadelphia cream cheese.
@@sarak-gc9nc right?
I feel better about drinking so much monster drinks 🤭 and yes....her day feels very pnw
Not that global, tho. It's very different from my culture.
I'm also into imitation crab...good to know I'm not alone 😅 Always a pleasure to watch your videos while I do my Sunday meal prep!
OMG, baked sushi made with imitation crab may be the best food ever. It's just called baked sushi, there's no actual sushi involved. I learned about it on Emmymade (Emmy's) TH-cam channel.
My god. The color of the yolks of your eggs is gorgeous..In America our yolks are light pale yellow. Our eggs look unwell.
It’s amazing to watch a what I eat in a day that is actually a decent amount of food that is balanced, not pretentious and focused on what the creator really likes to eat.
I love how we got a new outfit with every meal too 😅 Speedy recovery to Christopher!
He baked… and took it out the oven.. hehehehe!!!
Cecilia I love your enthusiasm for everything, even when something is difficult you’re so joyful! 😊 It’s so contagious. Hope Christoffer gets better soon.
As always, I love visiting with you on Sundays. I thought you cooked very well on each of your meals. I'm sure that Kristoffer appreciated you taking care of him. Hugs to Grim and both humans. Leigh
Idk why you say you can’t cook Cecilia you did so well! The bread looked yummy 😋 Grim is such a cutie 🥰 He’s adorable and he knows he’s adorable 😂 Getting under the pillow like I’m cute I know it 😁 Hope Christoffer feels better soon! Hugs to you, Christoffer and Grim ❤
What a lovely comment ❤ l needed to read this as l'm surrounded by mean miserable people 😢 stay safe 😊
Awwww thank youuuu 🫶🤩
I completely agree! Everything looked very good (and I am a chef too btw) I would love to see a video of them cooking together and see what Christopher likes to cook.
Also very curious as to how he got a job as a chef in Svalbard because I might be interested in doing that as well haha
Best way is to contact each restaurant individually because Svalbard does not have Indeed or any other services for job hunting. Don't forget, arrange housing before moving to Svalbard.
Cecelia is so random with her food choices and Chris is si exact - I love it 😂😂
I love how peaceful your videos are ❤
☕️❤☕️Having my coffee with Cecilia, Grim and Christopher on Sunday morning, the best!
The look on Cecilia's face when she took a bite of that crab stick was hilarious! I laughed out loud! Made me want to try it!🤣
The escape Cecilia's videos provide is something else.
My Mum made the best banana bread. She'd double the eggs and bananas, so it was very moist. When she died, I kept the loaf pans. She couldn't cook, but her banana bread was a beautiful thing!
Oh Cecilia, I wanted you to know how much I loved Svalbard! ❤ I understand why you live there. Longyearbyen is a quaint town-nice shops, museum and your Coop store is well stocked. I followed locals into Kroa and enjoyed a veggie sandwich. Circumnavigating the Svalbard archipelago I was awed every single day by the scenery. Polar bears(nine sightings), walruses, reindeer, foxes, whales and the pleather of seabirds. Unbelievable glaciers, icebergs, ice floes. And then the Brasvalbreen ice field-an endless horizon of white.
Thank you for sharing your life on Svalbard; and, I look forward to seeing the adventures you, Christopher and Grim do in the years to come. ❤️❤️
For someone who says they can't cook, you do a really good job!!
I love when Cecelia wishes a good morning. It makes me so happy. She is so full of energy, and I feel it!
Hey Cecelia, I’ve been watching your channel for a few months. It’s got to be said excellent job on showing of your beautiful country. It’s truly mind boggling and amazing with the huge transformation from 24 hours sunshine to 24 hours of darkness.
Keep this channel going👍👍👍
I hope Christopher feels better !!! Your food looks delicious ! And that banana bread looks really really yummy !! I too have always loved fish sticks ! It’s definitely a childhood thing with me too ! Thanks for sharing !!!
We need a video of you using that cookout/outside fire pit! I'm really curious about how it works, and around here, outside cooking over a fire is absolutely huge. We all have firepits in our back yards, and use it a lot to cook meats, etc.
I love fake crab, too. And I live in the Pacific Northwest where I can get fresh dungeness crab. It's the texture and the sweetness. It's perfect cold, straight out of the package.
OMG - I saw you have Old Bay spice in your spice drawer. I am from Maryland, USA and that is a must have. We put it on steamed Chesapeake crabs and if you've never had them, when you're back in the US you need to get yourself some crabs with Old Bay. Love your channel, Cecilia.
I'm from Baltimore---hello fellow Marylander! and Yes, Old Bay is great! I took some to England last year to my friends there. 🙂
I love how you “pony-tailed” up when it was time to make Christopher’s breakfast. 😆
I meant business 🤣
@@CeciliaBlomdahl 🤣
Awesome video. You do a great job of cooking, Cecilia. Hope Christoffer feels better soon. And, can we just appreciate sweet Grim. He is the cutest ever. ❤❤
All the meals looked great!! You are a better cook than you think! Hope Christopher is on the mend. The landscape in Svalbard this time of year is amazing. Thanks for sharing your meals.
I used to use Oatley too, but my nutritionist said it is highly processed and has half the protein of cow's milk--and the protein Oatley does have is incomplete and lacks an amino acid we need. It also has much more carbs, and is processed with canola oil, which really isn't good to ingest on a regular basis. I can't do lactose, so I used lactose free milk, which is a healthier substitute. I know some people really prefer the taste of Oatley more--so I get it if that's the reason you like it. Now that I have been using cow's milk (half and half) in my coffee, the Oatley tastes weird to me, so I quickly got use to the change.
I was on my spin bike while watching this episode. That's great advice, about only watching certain content while working out.
I hope Christopher feels better, soon. Thanks for the cozy content, Cecilia! ☺
Feel better Christoffer! We all have things we eat that reminds us of childhood. ❤
Grim is such a happy guy. ❤
I'm Irish and if you never went walking because of the rain here you wouldn't go out walking for half the year! We had an amazing hot, dry June but July was the wettish in history. I have two kids, we'd go mad if we didn't get out. You just have to put the rain gear on and accept it. I'm surprised since you do so many winter activities.
Feel better Cristopher! Loved this video. Oh, and Grimm always makes me smile.
Love your channel and the beautiful views of Svalbard. My wife and I watch your channel regularly here at home on Vancouver Island (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada). As your channel is in the English language my wife and I are able enjoy it together (as she does not speak Swedish or Norwegian) but still allows her to see a bit of Scandinavian culture along with a Svalbard twist (she loves it). Myself, I was born in Göteborg (Swedish father and Norwegian mother) but moved to Canada in 1970 as a young boy. Thus, I can relate a bit on how you learned English having lived in an English speaking environment when you were younger.
You are a MIND READER! I was literally thinking after your last post last week that I’d love to see a what I eat in a day. I’m excited for Christopher to do a cooking episode! You don’t need to be doing anything special for me to just love your content. Your daily lives bring me joy to watch it. Thank you for sharing this with us! I wake up every Sunday excited to watch what you post with my coffee in hand ❤✨👏🏼☕️
Cecilia, you did a great job. All of the food looked so good! I hope Christopher feels better! I love watching your video every Sunday; it's part of my Sunday routine. I would love more recipes from Christopher!
I love watching your Sunday videos, Cecelia. So relaxing and enjoyable, thank you.
Hi Cecelia, Christoffer and Grim! It’s always a great start to my Sundays seeing your videos with a cup of coffee! I hope Christoffer feels better soon! Give Grim a hug for me! Cecelia, you cracked me up about the Hummus! 😂😂 you sound like me to! 😂😂 Thank you for always sharing your wonderful videos! It always brings me smiles! 🥰🐶❤️
This just made my North Carolina Sunday a happy one!!! It brings me so much joy watching Cecilia's videos!!! She is living the life I dream of!!!
Wow,! This vlog is so beautiful and your positivity is just amazing! Also your meals look very tasty and well cooked! I hope Christoffer feels better soon. Grim is always so happy. He is a nice boy. Thank you for sharing
These Sunday uploads are so relaxing.
Grim is just the best boy 💗
I hope Christoffer feels better soon. What a fun episode this was! I too love coffee and understand the struggle. 😅 I also loved your cooking adventures taking care and covering for Christoffer. I don’t think you give yourself enough credit. Great job! 😊
Hope Christopher is feeling better by now. Summer colds can be the worst. Fun video Cecelia!
Feel better soon Christoffer! You did a great job cooking and I love your pajamas! ❤❤
I love your videos, Cecilia!
I just enjoy it so much, the way you talk and the way you explain how it's living in Svalbard. I'm from the Caribbean, and your video makes me want to visit Svalbard. By the way, I love Grimm ❤
Your content is so relaxing 💕 My 1 year loves watching you and gets so excited when Grim come on the screen ☀️😊
Thank you Cecilia for sharing your what seems more like a day in the life. I love your videos and I find you to be quite entertaining.(I mean that in the nicest way). I think the scenery where you are is just breath taking. I hope Christopher is feeling better. Lots of love to you both and may God continue to bless you.❤️🌞
Congratulations on your lawn! It’s gorgeous! Love the opening shot of the belugas! Fellow member of the Monster club here🙋🏼♀️. I never settled into kitchen multitasking until I was in my 50’s. You have plenty of time😉. Totally enjoyed watching this. You guys live in a wonderful place. Hope Christoffer is feeling much better. Hugs and love to you guys!!❤️❤️❤️
Get well soon Christoffer!! Another great vlog, I so look forward to my time with you on Svalbard every week❤
I've just realised, your interior decor matches Grim!!! Love that😍🐶
I love those seafood sticks too!! You can't beat fish fingers either😂
The nice thing about a rainy day is you can hang around the house and not feel guilty about missing a nice sunny day.
The rain absolutely made my day. Just the whole rainy day vibe. It will be 110 degrees Fahrenheit in North Texas Wednesday. 106*f today. I can’t wait until the rain and fall weather is back. ❤ hope Christofer feels better soon. 12:40pm cst
My God. Maybe its been awhile since you posted a laid back relaxing video. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Your music mix is impeccable and spot on. Just right.
Tell Kristoff hey from the Chicago Illinois area and hope he gets well sooner than later.
Thank you.
Feel better soon Christoffer. Cecilia you’re definitely a far better cook than you realize. I look forward to your Sunday vlogs. The patches of grass are beautiful. ❤
Yes! I absolutely love imitation crab meat! We have a salad here in the US that’s a deli crab salad and it’s made with flake style imitation crab meat. It’s SO good! It’s basically the imitation crab (flaked), diced red onion, celery, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and a little bit of lemon juice. I also like to season mine with a bit of Old Bay seafood seasoning.
Also, everything you made looked delicious. Hope Christoffer is feeling better.
I make a crab dip kinda like that but with imitation crab meat, sour cream, cream cheese, a packet of the powdered ranch dressing, green onion, so good love the imitation crab meat
I think it's called Neptune salad
Oooohh I want to fill an avocado with that crab salad.
Beautiful and peaceful, both for the landscape and for the quiet lifestyle ❤ it reminds me of mine before kids lol.
Hi cecilia. I’ve just found your channel and I’m literally binge watching it. I llllllllove it. You’re doing a great job. You and your content are so inspiring ❤❤❤ hope Christopher gets well soon
You are inspiring me to get a thermomix! Thank you for sharing your day with us!
Everything looks delish - well done! Stay well and hope Christopher is feeling much better soon!
Cecilia, thanks for sharing your world with us.
Great video, I enjoy watching you grow as a cook! Hope Christoffer is feeling better and what yummy food you made.
Grim appearing from the darkness when Cecilia opened his treat bag was so funny. 😂 Hope Christopher feels better soon. Make sure to take care of yourself too. With cooking the practice makes perfect, though it all don't need to be at a restaurant quality either. It's enough if it tastes good. I've been wanting to try make bagels, but am scared. It seems like it will be difficult.
Not as hard as you think actually!
Very entertaining!!! 😂 You have a great sense of humor and you connect with your audience so well😀
I just realized that I looove the way you say good morning!!! It reminds me so much of the way my family and I greet one another in a joyful, yet funny way!! Too cute and too funny...a great way to start a new day!! 💙💛
Solidarity on hummus being a lot of work! 😆 I'm lucky that I can buy it pre-made from the grocery store where I live. It's even more work to start with dry beans, but soooo tasty! Hope both you and Christopher are feeling better by the time this video was posted!
Hope Christopher is doing better. Always a big fresh air moment with you. Grim is so cute
Get well Christoffer ! also your food was great simple with flavor that’s all you need ! As always Grims sweetness is a joy 💜
So nice to spend time with you all!!😊
I have never tried the "krab" with soy and sesame seeds, but I will soon! Hope Christoffer feels better soon. Thank you for a lovely video, Cecelia.
Omg the imitation crab sticks! I love them too and will be building a bouquet of my own tomorrow 😆 Our grocery store has wasabi coated sesame seeds that will be perfect on top 😋
Hope Christopher is feeling better now. 🙏🏻 it’s never fun having a cold. Great video 🙂
Thank you sweet Cecilia!! You always bring joy!🥰
Your zest for what you love inspires me. 🙂 Feel better Christoffer!
Imitation crab is the best! I'm gonna have to try it with soy sauce & sesame seeds! And you're a darn good cook! I think you did great with this entire day! 🙂
Aesha putting in Captain Jason's contacts has to be the grossest thing I've seen on that show, including the overflowing toilet from BDSB 2 years ago! 😂
Thank you for sharing a day in your life! 💜💜
Marianna
In the UK we call those fish things ‘fish fingers’ 😂 And I feel like it’s a British staple to have them in a sandwich with ketchup. And now I really want that!
Ditto! Poke bowl seems a bit fancy for fish fingers. 😂
Good morning, hope you and family are doing well 🙂!
I'm Portuguese and discovered your channel 3 weeks ago through Shorts, I'm loving it. Surprised to see you cooking in a food robot with portuguese instructions 😁!!!! Loving your channel!!! Sending love from Portugal 🇵🇹😘
Loved this video! It was so relaxing, hanging out in the kitchen on a rainy day. You did great -- everything looked delicious! (And the whales at the beginning!!!) Hope Christopher is feeling better.
Oh those whales were SO AWESOME!!!
Imagine if Cecelia had New York City bagels, her mind would literally explode lol
No joke! They are the best. I live on Long Island. A lot of friends have moved out of state. Not me! I'm not leaving my bagels or pizza!!
Ermmm Montreal would like a word.
Seriously! It's a personal preference but I prefer Montreal style bagels over NY style@@jptester
I was thinking the same thing!!!!
I just wanted to tell you how much I love your videos and the atmosphere.. you can really show and make me feel the calm and peace of your life in Svalbard 😊 so thank you!
Thoroughly enjoy watching your videos, you are upbeat, relatable and enjoyable to watch! Thank you
You are not alone with the imitation crab Cecilia. I find it so addictive. I eat the sticks or the chunks even though it makes my stomach hurt after. 😂
Me to, I just eat them straight from the package sometimes
Between you, me, Cecilia and the other commenter, there's at least four of us!! I love imitation crab!
I hope Christoffer feels better soon. I really enjoy your videos. Life on Svalbard would be so awesome.
I didn’t know crab sticks exist anywhere else except my country 😅
I absolutely love crab and soy sauce!!! ❤❤❤
Oh i love imitation crab!!!i eat a whole package by myself dipping them to mayo!!!and let me say what a beautiful scenery, it's like from a movie, and with the rain, come on!!We are boiling on the other hand in Greece!many kisses to you and to Christopher!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Omgggg I have found my people 🙌🙌
First time watching Cecilia and absolutely love her. She is adorable. Scenery is awesome.
I LOVE crab sticks too, I like to unroll them (when I can be bothered) and shred them into little strings by just pulling at them and then adding that to noodles. Fish fingers in a poke bowl is genius, thank you!
Oh my gosh, the cozy vibe of this video has me sooooooo excited for fall! We’re heading into a week of over 100 degree temperature, but regardless, I am ready to get into the cozy season! Thanks for sharing, as always 😊❤
Thank you for sharing your life! Your videos are wholesome and feels like a mini holiday to my heart and brain ♥ sending love 🤗
Love this natural day video ❤, Love from Ireland 🇮🇪 keep doing what your doing x
Thank u for taking us on this beautiful adventure 💗
Your videos are the definition of hygge ❤
🧡🧡🧡
Get well soon, Christoffer. Scritches to Grim for being a good nurse to Dad. You did great, Cecilia!!! Very nicely done on developing your cooking skills. Glad you and Grim were able to get out and meet the baby reindeer and still make it back in perfect time for the banana bread to be done. I love when things work out like that. Looking forward to the Scandinavian foods. Much love from Louisiana. 💖💖💖
I started watching this yesterday (Sunday morning) and then realized today I never finished it! So yesterday and today's mornings started with Cecilia and coffee. ☕️ Love it! And yes Cecilia I am with you I LOVE imitation crab! I honestly forgot about it and now I need to run to the store and get some. I usually dip them in Old Bay seasoning. I kind of want to try the soy sauce and sesame seed thing now. All the food looked amazing!! Hope Christopher (sp??) is feeling better soon, poor guy!! The more I see Svalbard the more I want to be there. ❤️
I loved this video Cecilia! I look forward so much to your videos every Sunday ❤
Hi Cecilia, since you have a Thermomix ( I have one too), it is sooooo easy to cook. Choose your meal and follow the instructions👍The crab stikes you eat and love, I have never seen them, but I dont mind would not eat 😱🥵.
My husband eats the imitation crab just like you do but with sriracha mayo 😂 I think it’s gross but he loves it. So you’re not alone!
🙌🙌🙌
In Asia we pull it apart into little strips and deep fry it! Tastes better than potato chips 😬
@@Tzjsarah that sounds pretty good actually! I don’t mind it in sushi, etc. but eating a whole package in one sitting isn’t it for me 😂
Your videos always make me want to get my life together. So motivating and relaxing 🫶✨
Those crab stick are my hidden food too! They are tasty I dont care what anyone says. YUM! Wrap them in phyllo dough and bake off (sometimes I put chive cream cheese inside with the crab stick then wrap in phyllo).TO DIE FOR
"Allow me a beverage!" - that's how I feel about my Diet Cokes. 😂 Your videos always put a smile on my face - thank you for sharing with us!
If you convince Christoffer to make bagels, try NY-style! You have to boil briefly, but so delicious.
