@ukernel1231 Wow. Congratulations. Ive tried to find videos with deliveries, but havent found one yet 😅 I only found Words from Polestar saying they would start delivery right before Christmas
@@barygol I have not charged it so far. I'm commuting ~40km a day and I'm expecting to charge it twice a month. EV competitions are fierce in China and Polestar is critized for its high price mainly. I got mine for ~5W USD and at this price range there are tons of other options in China.
Polestar had a big stand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2023 in the UK. Can't wait to see the Polestar 3 & 4 on the roads of Europe and elsewhere.
Yeah I know because I want this car vs a Tesla for 2025 and I am in no way struggling financially but somehow it still looks pretty hefty! Trying to justify going into debt for this but damn... Have some friends with the exact same sentiment.
Looks like ive been partially banned from writing TH-cam comments. I wrote this. If I try to paste it in to comments, it disappears. If you are going to be an fool and charge your EV inside your garage, and even worse if inside your garage is actually inside your house, then be less of a fool and install a smoke alarm over your car that is interconnected to the other smoke alarms in your house. That way, when the battery goes into thermal runaway whilst charging - and don't delude yourself that "that will never happen to me" - at least you will be woken up so you dont burn to death in your sleep. And it happens to LFP batteries, too. If you have that smoke alarm at least you'll probably have 15 minutes to get your children out of the house and to safety UPWIND before your house burns to the ground.
Specs look great but polstars perform like rubbish. Not efficient in real world and slow charging after a few months. Reality is for me every polstar owner I know wishes they got a Tesla. Don’t buy a car on specs get an owner of a car to give you their review not some spec reading TH-camr who hasn’t driven one 1000km

I'm driving this car already (dual motor version with brembo brakes) and I'm telling you driving experience is magical
What, are you? Do you live in China?
@@itselectricvideos Yep. Just got this baby last Friday 🎉

@@ukernel1231how is the charging rate? What's the consumption in kWh/100km?
There's People saying it's getting a bad response in China.

I agree 🤩 Have you tried Polestar 2?
My next Polestar. Already have a p2.
Cool. Happy with P2? I choose Tesla Model 3 instead of Polestar 2 because it felt much more open in the Tesla.
Do you think the Polestar 4 will be a hit, or is it to expensive?
Too expensive. 60k starting price was already making potential buyers do a double take. 70k starting price would just be a nail in the coffin.
@@efemoney_Correct. It CANNOT compete with Model Y at all with this pricing.

8:03 you did not get me showing the Polestar 2 LOL
Ooops. A mistake there. Sorry 😅😆
Does it have camp mode?
Looks nice but the Fisker Ocean looks better.
I've seen one in the UK completely undisguised.
It's big, very wide.
Is $69,500k the confirmed base model price?
Brakes are made by Akebono, not by Brembo!
Oh, I was sure it was Brembo this time as well. Thanks for pointing out, if true 👍
www.polestar.com/global/news/kindred-spirits-brembo/
Polestar 1 is Akebono. 2, 3, 4 is Brembo.
Rear hinged rear doors!? Nope! 😅
Ooops. Huge mistake. That's Polestar 5 😆
@@itselectricvideos The 5 will also NOT have rear hinges! It was only the Precept and that is not being produced!
@PolestarHEngineered ah, so thats how it is. Sorry 😆
Polwstar is a Chinese brand and is way over priced.

So where do you charge your smart phone overnight ??? next to your bed ?
@@matmc3221 Nope. We dont charge ANYTHING near our bed.

I know plenty of Polestar 2 owners really happy with their purchase.
