Chital deer at Forest Department Cottages, Bandipur

In September 2013, we stayed at the Karnataka Forest guest house that is right in the midst of Bandipur Tiger Reserve. At dawn and dusk, the entire resort was run over by herd of Chital (Spotted deer) which numbered in hundreds. Watching this wildlife right from our cottage was simply amazing !
