I forgot about that drive belt. You have ridden that bike everywhere it is not designed to go. Probably packed mud in the teeth and slid off. Those belts don't like rocks. You took a big heavy bike where it couldn't go and did it anyway. What an awesome adventure. I sure wouldn't try that. I have enough trouble handling my 400 on dirt roads.

What the take-home lesson this series has demonstrated - is you can only ride a Harley to the Bolivian tourist road alone if you pay a lot of people to push it there!
After all the good the bad and ugly this adventure has been Danny you have to admit it was well worth the price of admission to South America the people are generally friendly and the scenery was some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen even though the roads weren't the best at times it was still doable check to make sure you have all you came with and nothing left behind be careful and ride safe my friend God love ya mate

"Good Ride" Danny. SA is amazing place; I am going down there in a few weeks. a Road King can do things that the other baggers can't in my opinion. I have one, now I haven't done the extreme off roading, but I had no doubt that it would make it. I did ride the area you did in Zion, before you got to the park entrance on my RK. I like the Dana sized rim for knobby tire idea , the Two Brothers exhaust is crazy loud but flows really good and good build quality, but it fits. Can a Road King do it? you just proved Yes it can, again, Good Ride.
Marine 1 is the real deal. People always willing to help so nice to see. Well done on this mate its been hell. That bloody google maps has a mind of its own. Always need to check the setting Avoid highway is off.
TomTom - Great vlogs Danny - I toured Peru & Chile in a Range Rover in 2006 with a British TomTom with Peru maps added ..it didn't miss a bit ..I still did the gravel/scary roads..but was never lost as long as I had Sky above !! no need for cellular signal ..I recommend a TomTom for next adventure

Interesting that that drive belt lasted only until after it arrived in Florida. Shadetree Surgeon had to replace it after it broke when they were riding it on paved Tampa USA streets.
I knew you would get bogged. I said in the last video why did you veer to the right Like you did. It appeared to me the safest path was on the left where all the other bikes that went ahead of you went.
You put up on the screen at the end: you can ride a Harley Davidson to the death road alone. You can, I watched it, I can't. Wow. I like when you pulled up in front of that very nice clean hotel covered in mud. I remember riding in mud one night. My buddy and I went to a quarter car wash (it was still a quarter at that time) and washed the bikes then washed each other. Took a few days for our leathers to dry.
@@survivalabc First of all I can't afford a Harley. I'm sure I could make it on my Falcon 400 though. Bolivia isn't very far from where I live, about 1200 km to the border. Cheap hotels work. I stayed in one in northern Argentina and when I got to the room there was tape across the door: do not enter, crime scene investigation. Key worked so I pulled the tape off and went in. They let me park my bike in the lobby, said it wasn't safe outside. Watching Danny pull that heavy bike through sand, mud and rocks was too much. I ride an old Wing in the US and backing it out of a slightly sloped parking space is enough for me. At 73 years old I don't have the strength for really hard riding. I had planned on riding up to the Bolivian border then down ruta 40 in Argentina as far as we had time for. A breakdown on my nephew's bike delayed us and now he has gone back to work.
A faily good job it looks amazing what a great service can't imagine asking a uk company to clean a bike in the early hours of the morning. It looks good as new great last vlog should if called Muddy He'll.
