What an inspiration. Being a Pastor is definitely a part of his calling, as he is a shepherd still through and through. At first I saw the title of the video and was shocked, but pastoral ministry is all about identity of a shepherd and he never gave that identity up as he still followed God’s calling to tend to those in need. You don’t have to be ministering within church walls to be a pastor, rather even Jesus went outside the synagogue and met people where they were. What amazing work God has done through you brother!
Actually if God truly calls you a Pastor, your calling is irrevocable anymore, you are always a Pastor whatever you do. You only resign from the works that you said you are pastor but as a pastor or other calling and gifts of God are errivocable.
I think you did not leave your pastoral ministry. You are living it, maybe a little different to what we grew up knowing how a pastor should be. May God be glorified in all you do and keep you. 🙏

But right after watching this episode, I was enlightened. I shouldn't find happiness, security and what makes me feel comfortable, but rather I should seek for my purpose because that's true peace. True happiness can't be found in material things but with the personal relationship with God(Jesus). He alone can give that "peace" that surpasses all understanding.

I went to the seminary as well. And been ministering for years, 2019 I graduated, and now feeling frustrated - maybe, one of the reasons is that I am not a people person (parang mahiyain) and it is so hard for me. I want to explore now outside, and it's not easy, in my community to this. I have a side dissimilar to this man. Pero may pagkakatulad din.

As a young adult this inspires me a lot, I saw Pastor Iturriaga personally as he visited our church last month. He is really a light to other people. After watching this episode, I realized that I am still in the stage of finding my purpose and calling. It is hard indeed, but I keep praying to the Lord that He will guide and be with me.

I got to know you (online) through the jungle school in Palawan last year, where it made me inspired to volunteer there as a teacher soon if given the chance to aid the jungle kids there. The lessons you've imparted, especially to the young people, have shown me that there is a God who we need at every stage of life and who is ready to do miracles for us. Being a humanitarian wasn't easy for you, for sure. You've faced a lot of rejections and judgments, but you're still not letting these circumstances be a hindrance to what God has called you to. This interview made me question my purpose and what am I still doing in this job that I hate. I cried in front of my laptop and looked at my elder sister who is the reason my heart got broken. I resigned from my previous job, left Cebu which I really love and went back to Manila to take care of her. I always asked why am I the sacrificial lamb? I knew I should have been for a greater purpose but I enclosed myself in a box. Thank you for this interview Toni.

Luhhh... I feel it and almost the same to what im thinking before and now... until I found myself being agnostic.. I do believe in Him but without any doctrines related... I do ministry, do evangelism, do outreach programs, preaching to school and remote areas, etc.. until I actually speak to Him...

I am not sure with him. I know it is happy to know that he was able to help people in the mountain to get help but I was waiting for him to say something about if he share's GOD to those people who probably know nothing about GOD, yes he was able to help and he is BIG PLUS factor to any one in the area but sana ma e share nya ang katotohanan sa mga taong nasa bundok, education dito sa lupa is nothing honeslty compare to knowing GOD. And ill never ever get tired of listening to this guy...he is such an inspiration! Ive been through this line "I was not searching for God.. but i God found me". Back then i was searching for something unknown, then i found God! He came to me. Thats when my awakening and journey started. It's true.. "Dont look for happiness..find your purpose". "Don't find happiness, find purpose". This line really hits me different. Honestly, I was so confused on what to do with my life, I'm hopeless seeking for an answer to all my questions. But right after watching this episode, I was enlightened. I shouldn't find happiness, security and what makes me feel comfortable, but rather I should seek for my purpose because that's true peace. Thank you so much for this amazing episode.
True happiness can't be found in material things but with the personal relationship with God(Jesus). He alone can give that "peace" that surpasses all understanding.

I'm here bcoz of what happened to Pilot Dan in Palawan, and I saw Pas. Jasper's post- searching for Pilot Dan until now for 4 days
As a young adult this inspires me a lot, I saw Pastor Iturriaga personally as he visited our church last month. He is really a light to other people. After watching this episode, I realized that I am still in the stage of finding my purpose and calling. It is hard indeed, but I keep praying to the Lord that He will guide and be with me.

This is sooo true! Through God's grace, pastor Jasper was able to serve the poor people in Palawan. I was crying while listening to your experiences and so amazed at how the Lord sustained you in your passion and ministry! Truly when He calls He equips!

As soon as I saw that its Jasper being interviewed, I clicked right away. Heard his jungle school stories before from a podcast and here he is again sharing more of his experiences. I hope he writes a book on all of these things, every experience he had from traveling around the world so more minds would be open. I would definitely grab a copy.

Wow! One of the best stories Toni featured. When passion meets purpose, as they say. I love the fact that he is using his skills, passion to bring light or be the light in the world. I got to know you (online) through the jungle school in Palawan last year, where it made me inspired to volunteer there as a teacher soon if given the chance to aid the jungle kids there. The lessons you've imparted, especially to the young people, have shown me that there is a God who we need at every stage of life and who is ready to do miracles for us. Being a humanitarian wasn't easy for you, for sure. You've faced a lot of rejections and judgments, but you're still not letting these circumstances be a hindrance to what God has called you to.

This interview made me question my purpose and what am I still doing in this job that I hate. I cried in front of my laptop and looked at my elder sister who is the reason my heart got broken. I resigned from my previous job, left Cebu which I really love and went back to Manila to take care of her. I always asked why am I the sacrificial lamb? I knew I should have been for a greater purpose but I enclosed myself in a box. Thank you for this interview Toni.

This is a wonderful story. It simply tells us that God is always there to guide us and help us when we help others. And I love listening to Tony because it seems like she understands what she is talking even if she is not Adventist Christian like us.
I am not sure with him. I know it is happy to know that he was able to help people in the mountain to get help but I was waiting for him to say something about if he share's GOD to those people who probably know nothing about GOD, yes he was able to help and he is BIG PLUS factor to any one in the area but sana ma e share nya ang katotohanan sa mga taong nasa bundok, education dito sa lupa is nothing honeslty compare to knowing GOD. PLUS Factor sana kung ang tulong na dinadala nya sa mga tao ay e dedicate kay GOD since kay GOD naman tlaga galing yun, am not really sure with this guy. Earthly po ang testimony nya. Red flags para sakin..
I feel you I don't have a choice but to follow my parent and brought me to a seminary and Imagine I Finished Bachelor of Theology and later on realize that God has a big purpose for to be the light to my students life..I am now a public school teacher and my ministry never stop..still extending my territories to preach and teach the gospel...
