Welcome to the Note 10. Was a Mac person for many years but when I tried out the iPhone years ago was EXTREMELY disappointed in the ecosystem! It's been Android for me since then. And Samsung S Series phones since 2013. This is my first time buying a Note and am loving it!

I was a long term apple user since the 3GS but i have now switched to the note 10 plus 5G and have zero regrets. Tbh i can see why people like the iphone, ios is so easy to use my mum who is in her 70's has one and she is by no means a tech head lol. The note 10 plus is so feature rich and looks stunning, android only took me a day or two to fully get to grips with. I love how customisable it is. I am def converted.
Actually I can turn the iphone photos to samsung just with some teak in luminar because the iphone photo is natural and also its sharpness. Samsung usually add sharpness and hard software noice reduction already which cost already in detail. If you view your photo on phone screen you cant see the different because the screen is too small but with the Tv you will see. Then the sharpness of Samsung also limit what we can edit, we can turn a detail one into sharp lack detail one but we can’t turn the sharp lack detail into a detail one.

Note 10 better picture quality, more screen no cut out so you get a full experience of videos and movies.. I can tell you dont have a Note 10 plus.. @@studivan everyone. Samsung Pay uses MST technology which simulates the swipe of a card onto a terminal which allows it to operate at any card terminal. Apple and Google Pay uses NFC so if the store you shop at doesnt have upgraded terminals that support NFC then you can't use it. Sucks for you right 😂😂

You, for some reason left out the fact that the Samsung Note 10 + Has BOTH Facial Recognition AND a fingerprint Sensor in the Biometrics and Security Settings. The phone has both setup options. I just bought this phone a few days ago, and I knew this. It was certainly a relevant feature worth mentioning.
Just purchased the note 10 plus. The facial recognition and fingerprint scanner are both garbage. The facial recognition can't even recognize your face with sunglasses on like the iPhone. The on screen fingerprint scanner also sucks. It never reads my prints and I've deleted and scanned again. Other than those two issues I love the phone. Still going to keep my iPhone 11 though!

You forgot to mention the resale value of iPhone, wi-fi 6 support, the fact that Note 10+ doesn t have video stabilization at 4k60, and can t record with the front camera at 4k60. In my opinion, this is how it should be: 1. Price - They cost almost the same, but the iPhone has a much better resale value. At least in my country, you can buy a new Note 9 cheaper than a used iPhone XS Max. iPhone wins. 2. Specs - 12 GB RAM and 256 standard storage on Samsung vs. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB on iPhone. Easy win for the Note. 3. Design - Curved edges, smaller notch, better screen to body ratio, another easy win for the Note. I can t imagine some preferring the 11 Pro design over the Note 10+. 4. Battery - As you said, iPhone wins. 5. Performance - Another win for iPhone, try playing any graphically intense game on both phones for over an hour and you will see. Also, the performance on iPhone doesn t drop over one year or more. The Note has an advantage at multitasking, i ll give it that. 6. Camera - Better video stabilization, HDR, night mode, 4k60 and slow motion on the front camera on iPhone 11 Pro Max. Note 10+ has better ultra-wide camera, but the colours seem to be edited to look more pleasing. The iPhone wins. 7. Software - iOS for better performance, less errors, faster updates and for a longer time. Samsung has more costumization, but that can t compensate for everything else. iPhone wins. 8. Screen - The quality is almost the same, the brightness too, but you get a bigger screen with a much smaller notch on Note 10+. Samsung takes this one. 9. Features. Another easy win for Note. S-Pen, expandable storage, curved edges, faster charghing, reverse wireless charging, Samsung DeX support, USB 3.0, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. So, iPhone got 5 wins and Note 4, but this one it s more about what you want in a phone. Better storage, design, bigger screen and more features? Note 10+. If you want a phone with better performance, a more polished software with faster updates, better camera and to retain some money when you ll resale it, iPhone 11 Pro Max.
@@tango4785 I did, i gave Note 10+ the win for the display (named it screen, nr. 8 on my comment). iPhone 11 Pro Max also has dual speakers and sound better than the ones on Note 10+. Actually, Note 10+ has worse speakers than S10+. I did test those out. I won t call it a tie, that s what everybody does. The iPhone wins overall, it s very close and some might want or need the categories were Note won, making the Samsung a better device for them.

I don't think you lose with either phone, honestly. I currently have the Note 10 plus. I switched from a Pixel 3 XL and am absolutely blown away with this phone. The screen is absolutely gorgeous. Fit and finish is fantastic and the ability to multitask is amazing. In the business world, this phone has made my life much easier. It does everything. It even translated my (poor) handwriting to text while using the s pen...lol. The gaming has been awesome as well, no lag on my multiplayer games. I was worried about my choice but so damned happy I made it. Good luck to everyone that's purchased one of these fine phones! I hope you're as pleased as I am no matter which one you chose!

I'm using both phones and to be honest there is absolutely no discussion…not only is the iPhone camera better, but in real life the 11 pro screen renders more natural looking images and colors, resulting in noticeably less eyestrain, its call quality is better, it runs videos on video apps smoother, and, unlike the note 10+, there is never any noticeable lag time in responding to screen interaction and app launches. The only thing that is better about the note 10 +is that is a better looking phone. That's its only "real life" advantage. Other than that, iPhone 11 pro wins hands down.

I use iPhone and I agree while the iPhone is without a doubt faster (this fact is undeniable) the Note 10 Plus has way more feautures with a better display.

I have to admit the battery on the note 10 plus surely lasts from 10 am to 5 am the next day even by streaming pandora or youtube (not all day) but i do use it often and i still have at least 45 percent left. Right now i have 60 percent batt left from 10 am this morning and i have been on my phone on and off all day
I paid in full carrier fees included so it $1220 estimated cost for 256 gb while the iPhone if u get 256 gb my carrier would cost me $1500 estimate cost. So I'm glad I bought the Note 10+
The one thing I like about Android is it's customization, you can set up your home screen with very little apps, just apps at the bottom of the screen that way you can see your wallpaper better. But I think that in the case of the Note10+ vs iPhone 11 pro max, the iPhone is Superior to the Note10+ when it comes to photos and video recording. For instance I don't like the recording time limits on the Note10+, the 11Pro Max doesn't have any recording time limits if I'm not mistaken.

I've been a Note guy since 2012 (switched a bit after Steve jobs died). I got a BOGO deal and had my wife switch. She is a lifelong iphone user. She went from an iphone 10 to galaxy note 10. After a week long learning curve, I asked if she wanted to switch back to iPhone. She told me "no friggin way." We both love our Note 10+!

I just bought the note but also keeping my iphone 11. No way I'm leaving apple for good. While the note is great the fingerprint scanner and facial recognition is atrocious.
Kanashi Kinota honestly that was me, I switched to android and after a year the phone was starting to lag and hadn’t received an update since I was on the Verizon version. Switched back to an iPhone and haven’t experience any lag and it’s not even one of the newer phones I’m on the iPhone 8
It’s hard to gauge the subjective package that the iPhone brings as a whole. Me and other users know what I’m talking about. There’s a moment where we finally knew that if we could only have one smartphone choice we’d always lean on iPhone. That’s not even to spite Android or Samsung. I’ve loved my other Samsung phones, but I wish a TH-camr could put into words why I always feel more dependent on my iPhones over my android phones?
I'm still waiting for the day when an reviewer will perform an actual test of cellular signal reception ... it's a cell phone after all . I just want the phone with best cellular reception and none of theses reviewers do the most important test . I don't care about the video games on phones or numbers . we can read the specs on their web sites , no need for somebody to read them for us and make it look like you know more than everybody . Same sim card , same spot , different areas , drop calls , etc .
Get a flip phone with expandable antenna. Best reception for you, sir. None of these newfangled gadgets the kids use. Additionally , you can hold a charge for days! No need to go to your grandkids house to use their electricity! Stay at home comfy and enjoy that dirt floor. May I also offer you a landline? No dropped calls ever AND random young people will call you every day for a variety of topics to chat about! You'll never be bored again. We have voip calling now, old man. Cell coverage is... antiquated.

The iPhone is leagues ahead of most facial recognition systems for phones simply because of those sensors... and work a whole lot more reliably no matter if wearing glasses or even things that obstruct the face... and unless you are creating a 1:1 dummy of me you aren’t getting into my phone with some simple picture like most others.

Note10+ is the best, no question at all, no device can really challenge it, the s pen is absolutely great, and is by far better looking than the apple thing
Note 10 plus has an s pen nothing comes close to it though I wish it can have more features and gimmicks. The note 10 plus can have an expandable storage camera is superb. Great screen resolution. I hope their processor becomes as fast or faster than Apple. I hope for bigger battery, standard 5g, more new techs, under screen front camera. Even a flip like the A80 would be cool. I give it 9.5/10 If you have an ecosystem or a faster processor that is not the end of the world.
Two great phones for sure. As you stated, if you are already on the Apple ecosystem then the iPhone is the better phone for you. The best part about the competition between these two companies is that it constantly forces both to improve. In the end, the consumer wins. Here is a thought though, what happens when you break your phone? Apple is notorious for forcing you to replace your device and quote outrageous repair prices and even lie about what needs to be repaired (just search 'apple repair scams' for more info). In addition, you will be hard pressed to find a third-party repair facility for Apple devices. Samsung on the other hand doesn't play those shifty games.

Been using iPhone since 3G but this year I’m leaning towards Note 10+ because it has clearly more value. Apple has been shortchanging its loyal customers for years and I’m starting to get sick of it.
I upgraded to a note 10 plus last week because my note 8 after two years was starting to have hardware issues. My note 10 plus is my fourth note. I have had a note 3,5,8,10+ and have been happy with all of them. The biggest factor that keeps me with notes is the S pen. It makes life so easy in business and school. There are other pros to the galaxy line that many phones dont have that I really like. As long as Samsung keeps producing great phones I will be a customer.
Same story with me last phone I've had before a note was the lg flex,.went to the note 5 8 and now 10+,.I simply love the notes and the have never given me a reason to even want a different phablet lol
My choice had fallen on the iphone pro 11.. Until I went to watch television with it and found out that Samsung delivers better picture quality than the iphone .. I brought the Iphone back and opted for the Samsung Note 10. Best decision for me.
I’ve had an iPhone from the beginning upgrading almost each year! Apple has become ridiculously expensive offering only 64GB as opposed to 256GB from Samsung! The only reason I’m a little hesitant to switch to Samsung is the IOS that I’m so used to which is simple and very easy to navigate !! Other than that I think Samsung kicks ass overall. Has anyone made the transition from iPhone to Samsung they can share their thoughts ? Was Is an easy and smooth switch?
The biggest disappointment for the new iPhone is the lack of storage. $1100 gets you 64GB...? That does not seem like a very pro/flagship device in this day and age. With the much upgraded camera capabilities, you will fill up 64GB significantly quicker than the 256GB included in the Samsung. For $1100 we shouldn't have to make those kinds of compromises.

I was a long term apple user since the 3GS but i have now switched to the note 10 plus 5G and have zero regrets. Tbh i can see why people like the iphone, ios is so easy to use my mum who is in her 70's has one and she is by no means a tech head lol. The note 10 plus is so feature rich and looks stunning, android only took me a day or two to fully get to grips with. I love how customisable it is. I am def converted.

Actually I can turn the iphone photos to samsung just with some teak in luminar because the iphone photo is natural and also its sharpness. Samsung usually add sharpness and hard software noice reduction already which cost already in detail. If you view your photo on phone screen you cant see the different because the screen is too small but with the Tv you will see. Then the sharpness of Samsung also limit what we can edit, we can turn a detail one into sharp lack detail one but we can’t turn the sharp lack detail into a detail one.

Just purchased the note 10 plus. The facial recognition and fingerprint scanner are both garbage. The facial recognition can't even recognize your face with sunglasses on like the iPhone. The on screen fingerprint scanner also sucks. It never reads my prints and I've deleted and scanned again. Other than those two issues I love the phone. Still going to keep my iPhone 11 though!

You forgot to mention the resale value of iPhone, wi-fi 6 support, the fact that Note 10+ doesn t have video stabilization at 4k60, and can t record with the front camera at 4k60. In my opinion, this is how it should be:
1. Price - They cost almost the same, but the iPhone has a much better resale value. At least in my country, you can buy a new Note 9 cheaper than a used iPhone XS Max. iPhone wins.
2. Specs - 12 GB RAM and 256 standard storage on Samsung vs. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB on iPhone. Easy win for the Note.
3. Design - Curved edges, smaller notch, better screen to body ratio, another easy win for the Note. I can t imagine some preferring the 11 Pro design over the Note 10+.
4. Battery - As you said, iPhone wins.
5. Performance - Another win for iPhone, try playing any graphically intense game on both phones for over an hour and you will see. Also, the performance on iPhone doesn t drop over one year or more. The Note has an advantage at multitasking, i ll give it that.
6. Camera - Better video stabilization, HDR, night mode, 4k60 and slow motion on the front camera on iPhone 11 Pro Max. Note 10+ has better ultra-wide camera, but the colours seem to be edited to look more pleasing. The iPhone wins.
7. Software - iOS for better performance, less errors, faster updates and for a longer time. Samsung has more costumization, but that can t compensate for everything else. iPhone wins.
8. Screen - The quality is almost the same, the brightness too, but you get a bigger screen with a much smaller notch on Note 10+. Samsung takes this one.
9. Features. Another easy win for Note. S-Pen, expandable storage, curved edges, faster charghing, reverse wireless charging, Samsung DeX support, USB 3.0, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
So, iPhone got 5 wins and Note 4, but this one it s more about what you want in a phone. Better storage, design, bigger screen and more features? Note 10+. If you want a phone with better performance, a more polished software with faster updates, better camera and to retain some money when you ll resale it, iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Actually, Note 10+ has worse speakers than S10+. I did test those out. I won t call it a tie, that s what everybody does. The iPhone wins overall, it s very close and some might want or need the categories were Note won, making the Samsung a better device for them.

I don't think you lose with either phone, honestly. I currently have the Note 10 plus. I switched from a Pixel 3 XL and am absolutely blown away with this phone. The screen is absolutely gorgeous. Fit and finish is fantastic and the ability to multitask is amazing. In the business world, this phone has made my life much easier. It does everything. It even translated my (poor) handwriting to text while using the s pen...lol. The gaming has been awesome as well, no lag on my multiplayer games. I was worried about my choice but so damned happy I made it. Good luck to everyone that's purchased one of these fine phones! I hope you're as pleased as I am no matter which one you chose!

I'm using both phones and to be honest there is absolutely no discussion…not only is the iPhone camera better, but in real life the 11 pro screen renders more natural looking images and colors, resulting in noticeably less eyestrain, its call quality is better, it runs videos on video apps smoother, and, unlike the note 10+, there is never any noticeable lag time in responding to screen interaction and app launches.
The only thing that is better about the note 10 +is that is a better looking phone. That's its only "real life" advantage.
Other than that, iPhone 11 pro wins hands down.

I have to admit the battery on the note 10 plus surely lasts from 10 am to 5 am the next day even by streaming pandora or youtube (not all day) but i do use it often and i still have at least 45 percent left. Right now i have 60 percent batt left from 10 am this morning and i have been on my phone on and off all day

The one thing I like about Android is it's customization, you can set up your home screen with very little apps, just apps at the bottom of the screen that way you can see your wallpaper better. But I think that in the case of the Note10+ vs iPhone 11 pro max, the iPhone is Superior to the Note10+ when it comes to photos and video recording. For instance I don't like the recording time limits on the Note10+, the 11Pro Max doesn't have any recording time limits if I'm not mistaken.

I would definitely wait for the next note since you have the 9. As someone who went from the s8 to the note 10+, it was definitely a better upgrade for me than it would be for you 😄

I've been a Note guy since 2012 (switched a bit after Steve jobs died). I got a BOGO deal and had my wife switch. She is a lifelong iphone user. She went from an iphone 10 to galaxy note 10. After a week long learning curve, I asked if she wanted to switch back to iPhone. She told me "no friggin way." We both love our Note 10+!
I've used both. I don't understand the simplistic thinking that claims that one is so much better than the other.
Watching this on a iPhone 11 Pro Max feeling happy about my switch from android to iPhone but feeling very alone in the comment section because everyone seems to have purchased a note 10 plus lol I think there both great phones it just comes down to what’s your personal preference 💯
I just bought the note but also keeping my iphone 11. No way I'm leaving apple for good. While the note is great the fingerprint scanner and facial recognition is atrocious.
Apple sucks. I like to have options.

Kanashi Kinota honestly that was me, I switched to android and after a year the phone was starting to lag and hadn’t received an update since I was on the Verizon version. Switched back to an iPhone and haven’t experience any lag and it’s not even one of the newer phones I’m on the iPhone 8
It’s hard to gauge the subjective package that the iPhone brings as a whole. Me and other users know what I’m talking about. There’s a moment where we finally knew that if we could only have one smartphone choice we’d always lean on iPhone.
That’s not even to spite Android or Samsung. I’ve loved my other Samsung phones, but I wish a TH-camr could put into words why I always feel more dependent on my iPhones over my android phones?

I'm still waiting for the day when an reviewer will perform an actual test of cellular signal reception ... it's a cell phone after all . I just want the phone with best cellular reception and none of theses reviewers do the most important test . I don't care about the video games on phones or numbers . we can read the specs on their web sites , no need for somebody to read them for us and make it look like you know more than everybody . Same sim card , same spot , different areas , drop calls , etc .
Get a flip phone with expandable antenna. Best reception for you, sir. None of these newfangled gadgets the kids use. Additionally , you can hold a charge for days! No need to go to your grandkids house to use their electricity! Stay at home comfy and enjoy that dirt floor. May I also offer you a landline? No dropped calls ever AND random young people will call you every day for a variety of topics to chat about! You'll never be bored again.
We have voip calling now, old man. Cell coverage is... antiquated.

Let's be honest face I'd was pretty cool and better than what android use to have but it functioned just fine apple just made it expensive and glotted about something that took up half your sensors lol
James Somogyi ummm the sensors in the iPhone and the sensors in android phones are not even a comparison. The iPhone is leagues ahead of most facial recognition systems for phones simply because of those sensors... and work a whole lot more reliably no matter if wearing glasses or even things that obstruct the face... and unless you are creating a 1:1 dummy of me you aren’t getting into my phone with some simple picture like most others.
@@lawrencecornell3430 most Android devices dont have those sensors, but still have a fast and good face recognition, only that it isn't as secure as Face ID, if you really want a good face recognition look up for the Mate 30 Pro.
I really like them both. I use the Note for work and the iPhone outside of work. I don’t think either one can really claim to be better.

Watching this on my new note 10 plus and I'm so happy I decided on this phone. Its an absolute beast and I reduced animations and it feels insanely snappy and quick for everyday use. Very happy with my choice

Two great phones for sure. As you stated, if you are already on the Apple ecosystem then the iPhone is the better phone for you. The best part about the competition between these two companies is that it constantly forces both to improve. In the end, the consumer wins.
Here is a thought though, what happens when you break your phone? Apple is notorious for forcing you to replace your device and quote outrageous repair prices and even lie about what needs to be repaired (just search 'apple repair scams' for more info). In addition, you will be hard pressed to find a third-party repair facility for Apple devices. Samsung on the other hand doesn't play those shifty games.

Been using iPhone since 3G but this year I’m leaning towards Note 10+ because it has clearly more value. Apple has been shortchanging its loyal customers for years and I’m starting to get sick of it.

I upgraded to a note 10 plus last week because my note 8 after two years was starting to have hardware issues. My note 10 plus is my fourth note. I have had a note 3,5,8,10+ and have been happy with all of them. The biggest factor that keeps me with notes is the S pen. It makes life so easy in business and school. There are other pros to the galaxy line that many phones dont have that I really like. As long as Samsung keeps producing great phones I will be a customer.
Same story with me last phone I've had before a note was the lg flex,.went to the note 5 8 and now 10+,.I simply love the notes and the have never given me a reason to even want a different phablet lol
My choice had fallen on the iphone pro 11.. Until I went to watch television with it and found out that Samsung delivers better picture quality than the iphone .. I brought the Iphone back and opted for the Samsung Note 10. Best decision for me.

Apple has become ridiculously expensive offering only 64GB as opposed to 256GB from Samsung!
The only reason I’m a little hesitant to switch to Samsung is the IOS that I’m so used to which is simple and very easy to navigate !!

The biggest disappointment for the new iPhone is the lack of storage. $1100 gets you 64GB...? That does not seem like a very pro/flagship device in this day and age. With the much upgraded camera capabilities, you will fill up 64GB significantly quicker than the 256GB included in the Samsung.
For $1100 we shouldn't have to make those kinds of compromises.
iPhone 11 is good but I prefer the Note 10 plus. Can't wait to get mines.
