Super Steady Video, Samsung Pay (oldie but goodie), and the new screen aspect ratio plus flatter edge makes it easier to draw and take notes than Note8 I used to have.

Love the smaller size of the 10. Samsung Pay (and current promotion) Screen to body ratio. Ultra wide angle camera. Link to Windows. Reverse wireless charging. Multitasking.

I don't know if possible, but I have a BIXBY routine so that when I leave the house I have WIFI turned off (to save battery). Can you also make it so phone calls are private?
My favourite one so far is when I connect to car bluetooth, turn wifi off and open spotify. Another one I like is when I arrive at work, change to vibrate mode and turn media volume to 10%. Keen to hear some other useful routines!
You forgot, Once you're in Samsung Cloud, hit settings and choose show Samsung Cloud icon. This way you have an app to get there
I use Google drive cause I get a 100GB for being with Metro. #HellaClutch

My AT&T Note10+ doesnt have the Secure WiFi as an option at all. Very good and informative video overall!!!

My favorite WOULD be Secure WiFi. If I had it. AT&T, in their infinite wisdom (or need to see my data) has pulled it on N10+ Between AT&T and Verizon, I cant decide who is the bigger offender of impossed control of our devices.
I'm going down to geek squad this up coming weekend to see if they know any way around att's crap and see if the can find a way to get the secure wifi installed. I dont see why att has any right to disable any features on my smart phone. Will post any info if geek squad finds a solution to the problem.👌
I have used an app called secure settings in the past to get to settings disabled by Verizon. I haven't used it in a while but it did work for accessing some location settings they had disabled.
They do it so you pay for there at&t mobile security, it has it's own VPN for about $3 a month
Viewing this as an iPhone user thinking about switching to Note 10/20. It really sucks to se an applewatch on your wrist. Just screams “this is not the best product - just tries to make videos for money”
Samsung galaxy is smashing it in terms of quality, value for money and features. Out of all the Android phones, Samsung's are the best imo. More refined.
Samsung UI used to be less refined than Apple by a lot, but now they are bridging the gap and One UI is looking a lot cleaner and smooth. Not long til the software and eco system is on par with Apples. Then there won't be any need to be on IOS.

Not all Note 10 version has those features like the secure wifi and others. My Verizon version doesn't

I believe only the unlocked phones come with the features you are missing.

@@reddragon6829 by unlocked I mean buying the phone outright. If you are making payments on the phone then it is not unlocked so some features wont be there since the carrier/ phone provider technically owns the phone till you pay it off. Atleast that is what I have read.

For me on Sprint, when I first used a public wifi it auto made connection secure. When I turned this off, I received immediate notice that I could create a button

My Sprint Note 10+ has Secure Wi-Fi as a separate app. The app is set to Inactive and you have to purchase to enable. By default the following options were toggled on: Secure Wi-Fi Warnings (Warn when joining Wi-Fi networks); Auto-secure Wi-Fi networks (Automatically enable VPN when joining Wi-Fi networks; and Auto-update (Automatically update app when on a Wi-Fi network). There is a fourth option: Do-not warn list - where you can manage Wi-Fi networks excluded from Secure Wi-Fi warnings. If you go over to the Do-not warn list and tap on the little explanation about 9 times, developer options will be activated. There are several options for that under more info once you click the arrow back. The last one is Disable Dev Mode. I chose that one.

The edge sensitivity on the note10+ has been improved immensely. I have not had any accidental touches as I did often on my note8.

@Jonathan Casey, how did you get the mobile data on/off toggle in the notifications shade? My Note 10 plus doesn't have it. I have to manually go to connections every time to turn on or off my mobile data. Can you please help?

Why not samsung just do away with the curved edge? It serves no purpose whatsoever except to annoy and aggravate. I dont know why people insist on this bullshit.

I've tried putting my debit card onto Samsung pay but it keeps coming up with a message saying card not authorized?? I've put in all the details correctly but Samsung pay still won't allow my card to be added on. Any ideas what to do when this happens?
The card provider may not support it. This has happened to me with Apple Pay before.
contact your bank.
You can create a paypal account can link your paypal to your Samsung pay. My bank didnt support Samsung pay and that's what I did and it works.
Love all your videos Jonathan. Just when I think there isn't anything new to learn about this awesome phone (Note 10+ owner), you put out another video. :) As with many others, I'd like to see more on the Bixby Routines please. I also use Bitdefender for my PC, tablet and phone. I'd be happy to watch a video on Bitdefender as well, to know I'm using it correctly and getting the most out of it. I watched your original video about DEX but find copying photos from my phone to my PC cumbersome. I've found windows explorer much easier for this task. While using DEX, I've found the font size of the text in messages way too small to read comfortably.

Last week I went from a Samsung Galaxy j7 star to a Note 10+ a huge upgrade for me. So far it's amazing and best phone I've ever owned. Great review BTW!

I could not get sketch AR to work at all. It bombs out on me and will not run any of the courses. I was really looking forward to it because I am absolutely unable to draw to save my life, meanwhile I have the most capable stylus/phone combination there is. Sigh. I'll watch for updates to the app and try again.

Yes! A Bixby video would be useful. I think Bixby is under appreciated and under valued as a _PERSONALIZABLE_ Digital Assistant. It is _not_ a Siri or Google Assistant competitor; it's purpose is to _customize_ a user's phone to that user's lifestyle -- quirks & foibles included.
I use Samsung cloud RELIGIOUSLY. My note 10 gallery syncs with my tab s6 within seconds. And it's so easy to share files from my phone to tablet.
Samsung should make the app visible, instead of having to look for it, so that more ppl would use it

I have Verizon Note 10+ 5G and I dont have Samsung Cliund not the Secure WiFi, also kind of suspect with Verizon as I purchased the Tab S5e with my Note and Verizon doesnt support Call Continuity either.

Hey folks, if you have a Note 10+ can you check something for me? Take the phone screen off or off altogether and lightly tap with your thumb on different areas of the screen. Are the tapping sounds different for different areas? E.g. I am hearing a hollow tapping near the left side of the fingerprint sensor and also some hollow parts near the top. Around the middle of the phone I don't hear any hollow sounds and the tapping is subdued. Just wondering if its my phone.

does this phone have any features for listening to music and telling you the name of it like the pixel 3 has, because that is the main thing keeping me from choosing the note 10, because it just sounds like the most useful thing ever for your phone to be listening to the music thats playing around you and then you can even go through and look at the history of all the songs your phone has heard, and it does it passively, honestly one of my favorite features ive ever heard of on any phone, however it would be much much better if the note 10 had that feature because the note 10 has like a million amazing features the pixel 3 does not.

I have a note 10+ and when I try to go to secure wifi it's not there for me. After I hit advance there are a few options but not that one. What could be the reason?

I am seriously trying to catch on the use of the features on my Note 10 +. I keep seeing new features every day from various videos. I didn't know the features mentioned in this video are on my phone. I have never used them before. How will I be able to use all these?

Very, very, very good review! Really no one revealed those features and apps! I watched more than 20 galaxy note 10 reviews - most of them are repetitive - but yours is simply the one that really reveled new features.
I am guessing you either use Google or Samsung for data backup because my phone wouldn't let me add Samsung for cloud backup.
However, there is a 3rd party app(degoo)that gives i think 200gb free cloud space for back up, not as comprehensive.
I don't really like Google cloud because it does not save system settings and app arrangement
Also, i don't have the option for secure wifi. I factory reset my phone couple of weeks ago due a bug and resigned using google vs Smart switch when i initially bought the phone.
I watch alot of Jonathan Casey and Sakitech videos for Samsung specific features. I noticed my phone has been missing some features.

LOL at recommending the Note 5G. Here in Georgia, we have exactly 1 5g tower. Nowhere near enough coverage anywhere to recommend 5G. I realize they say it's rolling out, but it's been awfully slow rolling out. I figure by the time 5G is useful to me... I'll be on the note 12+ 5G.
2 years later and 5G coverage in my area is still comparable to LTE. Just another marketing gimmick...
