I switched from galaxy to iphone a month ago. Main reason being apple watch and air pods. If android creates as good smart watch as apple watch, I will change back. Also in my country (finland) there is no voice command support for android, but for ios (siri) there is. I find it handy.

Its truly not a big deal mate , and the plus is you get a very fast face ID and a perfectly flat screen. 95% of the time the notch is just not intrusive, the other 5% is not a deal breaker. These days , the galaxys are very similar to the iphone , no headphone jack , no sd card , no charger , no buds . i wouldnt mind having all those features you no longer get on the galaxy and iphone , but about the only thing i think would improve the iphone that we might hope to get is the fast refresh rate and fast touch sensitivity , however the iphones A14 does make up for that to a degree.

But it’s a big deal because a company with a research and development budget big enough to build a city on the moon don’t do anything with it! If Face ID is the issue....do something better! It simply looks terrible in comparison to what other companies are doing. But will they do anything?.......HELL NO! they don’t have to! People would buy the iPhone year in year out if they only changed the colour because they are stuck in their ways including myself! Yes it has a better ico system....slightly! Customization, multitasking/floating apps are 2 of the main reasons I stick with Android devices. Each Android device has different features I prefer, tho. My Note 20 Ultra, Mi 10 Ultra and OP7 Pro are my favorites.
I've always loved the Galaxy phones. Never been a fan on iPhone. Just went from Galaxy S10+ to the Galaxy 21 Ultra. I Love it! The picture and video quality is outstanding. I have a Canon Rebel T7i but it's awesome to have a smartphone with this quality of camera/video to take spontaneous pics/videos when you're out. I got the Galaxy phones as soon as they were waterproof. That was the best feature possible. Thanks for posting the in-depth features.
ability to split screen (inspired by another comment) and the Face ID PLUS the Touch ID just wins the game for me... security is so important and the fact that I get both options to unlock my phone (as in most other Samsung phones) is just brilliant
I really liked your video. I always used to ignore 2 of the features that you mentioned. Dex and reverse wireless charging. It just blew my mind away. S21 is down right better phone. Almost all reviews available also say the camera of S21 is superior to iPhone
I bought my S21 Ultra yesterday after a month of deliberating!! My gf thought I was going Max Pro 12 with her, but the Samsung is just too good, especially for photographers and video editors.
"just to beat iphone" people brag about an A14 chip. like it's going to change a difference in everyday task. s21 ultra has 120 hz, 1440p amoled, 12-16 ram, bigger battery, samsung dex and vice versa. they already lost.

Very solid points there.. especially when it comes to call recording and that S-pen feature. Use the S pen to cut, copy and paste important content on the go, and then try calling it a gimmick!

Coming from a 14 year iphone user, the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra is the BEST decision ever. I'm telling you, i regret NOTHING. So happy I jumped ship. I still have and love my other apple products, but i am so happy I don't rely on one company anymore.

As incredible the 12 pro max display is I was stunned by the even brighter and higher contrasted panel on the S21 ultra. Im still not sure how smartphone display keep getting better.

First, I’ve owned iPhone and Android so I’m not at all a Brand Loyalist... now as far as.. 1)Build and Design. This review is based on “Looks Not Quality” watch Phonebuff’s drop test. 2) The iPhone without the stylus does 90% of the things that the S21 ultra does with one. Not that big of a deal. 3) Samsung definitely has better looks and more features than the iPhone. Useful everyday average consumer features? Not Necessarily. 4) I never once used Reverse Wireless Charging on my Note 20 Ultra. 5) Customization is neat to have but a useful real world tool? Not really. So does the Galaxy “Destroy” the iPhone. Not really.

Samsung is also ahead with their call background that comes with 3.0. I love that feature and the S21 folder spectrum colors has Iphone beat. They added that with 3.1. Can't wait to get it on my Note 20 Ultra with the 3.1 Update.

The 120hz actually does make it "faster". Samsung has increased the screen response rate to 240hz, so when you combine that with the 120hz refresh rate.... you got some quick snappy app launches.
destroy is not appropriate word when comparing such two elegant phones. They have their own beautiful and fantastic features, I love samsung but i also love iphones because of its so friendly and easy operations and one thing i love most from iphones is the sound quality of music.
Very frustrating to use iPhones. Limited customization, no back button, slow charging, etc... But I know iPhone fanboys don't care. All they want is to brag about owning an iPhone.
@@alihosseini8797 You good? 120hz is the rate at which the display refreshes (120 times per second). It can never change and doesn't degrade unlike iPhones, which slow down after a new generation comes out.
@@alihosseini8797 Ironic coming from apple, where old phones drop in performance from new software updates. Also, the refresh rate is handled by the integrated graphics of the CPU, which isn't affected by android. The actual CPU and RAM is what is used to run the OS, the GPU only runs games and the display.
can I correct u on some info: -"better battery life" actually ive watched few battery test videos and both iph11&iph12 pro beat s21 ultra -"more ram" well yea it has, but iphone being so optimized doesnt need alot of ram, it can work as smoothly as samsung but will less. -"back button" physical? or do you mean the old styled android one that we had like 2 years ago? well yea u can still enable it if u wish. I don't think S-pen is a good point. What percentage of ppl do you see day to day uses a stylus? iPhone users don't care about stylus at all, even most Samsung users don't use one.

A Samsung S21 ultra that has reached its max of 3 years of updates would still be more advanced and superior to an iPhone 12 pro max that has reached its update max of 5 years. What, do you think Samsung phones stop working after 3 years? Not hardly...My old Note 8 still blows away any IPhone 10 with respect to features and usability. My Note 10 plus is still more advanced than any IPhone 11 regardless of updates. As a matter of fact, as a business phone, from my perspective my Note 10 plus is more advanced than the iPhone 12 pro max. I'm not saying IPhones aren't great phones but today a decision based upon 2 more years of barely incremental updates is meaningless. In my opinion, a decision based on ecosystem preference would seem more prudent.

Saw a possible leak on twitter about the IPhone 13 getting an always on display but it's supposed to be like the one on thier watches and can't be customized.
S10 user. Since 2011 I have always wanted to try iphone, but until now it has not convinced me yet. I will wait what iphone13 or 14 will offer. But by that time.. samsung will be much more advanced lol. So I think I will be stucked with Samsung forever.
I would add 2 things (Exynos): 1.S-pen sound when writting. Unfortunately it does not work if the sound are off. I would like to have vibration and S-Pen sound simultanously. 2.Camera UHD 60fps recording zoom issue: Unfortunately there is only possibility to zoom in and out only with one camera. UHD 30fsp and FHD Works okay. This is a huge dissapoinment for a phone valued for 1300 EUR. This has been confirmed by Samsung.
Yeah but my favourite phone from Samsung was the note 10+ if that phone got some upgraded features for example refresh rate and upgraded cameras upgraded chips at 100% I would By it’ That phone for me was one of the most sexyest design it was so cool

Great review 👏. About the display, anything that's good about the Iphones display is that is that it's made by Samsung. Even if Iphone could do everything that samsung can do Samsung would still be better. Now when Iphone comes out with 120hz refresh rate it will be do to Samsungs LTP, or something like that. And don't forget that the Iphone 12s can kill you. Not a good thing if you have a pacemaker. After all that's said done I would never switch to an IPhone or apple product. That would be like giving up my freedom for a dictatorship. Not happening.
I have an S20 Ultra and I don't even use most of the features the phone brings. Barely use 120Hz, I don't use power share. I just like Android for its capability of customization, freedom of use and overall improvements on a yearly base. But low key enjoyed my iphone 8 plus the whole 5 years I had it (jailbroken enjoyed it much more).
I just bought iPhone 12 Pro Max and waiting for it to be delivered. And even after watching this video I am all for it. Its just a matter of opinions and what you need from your phone. I love the minimalist design of iPhones and iOS is far better operating system for me. And as long as phones have a stupid black hole or a top notch on top of them it really doesn't matter to me. I don't watch the left side of my screen and human eyes can adapt to filter out "irritations" so you don't even notice it. I had iPhone X as well and it didn't bother back then either.
Also a HUGE disappointment is that iPhone still does not allow to run two apps at the same time ( only two browsers could be run then again with third party app) which I do all the time and that’s the reason I’m returning my iPhone 12 Max Pro today. My Samsung Galaxy S7 had that feature and iPhone is still not up to par with a 5 year old Samsung phone. Such a shame!
Best processor in the market- A14 bionic(but no normal user can tell the difference, only very heavy utilisation brings out the difference) Better privacy Better nightmode, portrait, video graphy These are all reasons I can think of
People are hooked to Iphone due to the applications. Android has more access to more options. Super user's will use the Android platform. Basic, easy and convenient will be the Apple Platform. My opinion...
I would not say the Samsung destroys the Iphone more like it has features that the iPhone does not. If you compare the same features they both have then you would see the Iphone comes out ahead. In some ways.
I've been an Android and Samsung flagship phone user ever since and I personally believe that its the features and flexibility of the Samsung that edge out the iPhone. On the physical design, it's always been iPhone. Hands down.
It has built in google photos and one drive and you can buy storage from them Google photos is for storing photos and videos only One drive is for all sort of files
I think the S21 Ultra is the most complete smartphone in the industry right now and Apple users should take a serious look! The Ultra has more pure abilities than any other smartphone. It is a master of customization and integration that makes it more usable for a user that can make them more efficient and productive for less money than the Apple ecosystem. Samsung Dex is a great example of how it extends functionality to computers, TV and monitors without buying additional hardware. iPhones need an Apple TV to do something similar. They mastered the display. Forget resolution, nits and more symmetry than the notch. Always On Display provides more information to the user without having to touch their device. Split screen and floating screens allows a user to get more done without a laptop/desktop or tablet. We normally default to larger screens to multi-task as iPhone users because we simply can't. This isn't great for the user because if we want continuation of work with platform continuity, we have to invest $500-$1K for a iPad and $2K-$50K for a laptop/desktop. The Ultra being Android based gives users access to every smart TV, Windows PC and Android tablet on the planet without accessories. With a $20 dongle, every modern TV on the planet! I hated Samsung after previous experiences with software w/ S8+. Now Samsung and Google strengthen their relationship, Samsung have addressed slow updates and lack of support after 2 years with a guaranteed 4 years and 4 generations of updates! So I gave them another shot and they killed it! If they included the charging brick and USB-C earbuds, it would be a perfect experience!
The only things iphones still beat samsung at is the better resale value and 4-5 years of os upgrades and support compared to only 2-3 years with samsung.
One of the biggest reasons for me is the ability to split-screen.
Samsung also has mutil window where u can open more then 10+ windows over each other,just look up samsung "open in pop-up view"

1)Build and Design. This review is based on “Looks Not Quality” watch Phonebuff’s drop test.
2) The iPhone without the stylus does 90% of the things that the S21 ultra does with one. Not that big of a deal.
3) Samsung definitely has better looks and more features than the iPhone. Useful everyday average consumer features? Not Necessarily.
4) I never once used Reverse Wireless Charging on my Note 20 Ultra.
5) Customization is neat to have but a useful real world tool? Not really.
So does the Galaxy “Destroy” the iPhone. Not really.

Samsung is also ahead with their call background that comes with 3.0. I love that feature and the S21 folder spectrum colors has Iphone beat. They added that with 3.1. Can't wait to get it on my Note 20 Ultra with the 3.1 Update.

The 120hz actually does make it "faster". Samsung has increased the screen response rate to 240hz, so when you combine that with the 120hz refresh rate.... you got some quick snappy app launches.
Well,but the chipset obviously goes to iphone but also not because they heat more quicker so they have to dim light sometimes.

Also, the refresh rate is handled by the integrated graphics of the CPU, which isn't affected by android. The actual CPU and RAM is what is used to run the OS, the GPU only runs games and the display.

Not hardly...My old Note 8 still blows away any IPhone 10 with respect to features and usability. My Note 10 plus is still more advanced than any IPhone 11 regardless of updates. As a matter of fact, as a business phone, from my perspective my Note 10 plus is more advanced than the iPhone 12 pro max.
I'm not saying IPhones aren't great phones but today a decision based upon 2 more years of barely incremental updates is meaningless. In my opinion, a decision based on ecosystem preference would seem more prudent.

I would add 2 things (Exynos):
1.S-pen sound when writting. Unfortunately it does not work if the sound are off. I would like to have vibration and S-Pen sound simultanously.
2.Camera UHD 60fps recording zoom issue: Unfortunately there is only possibility to zoom in and out only with one camera. UHD 30fsp and FHD Works okay. This is a huge dissapoinment for a phone valued for 1300 EUR. This has been confirmed by Samsung.

I have an S20 Ultra and I don't even use most of the features the phone brings. Barely use 120Hz, I don't use power share. I just like Android for its capability of customization, freedom of use and overall improvements on a yearly base. But low key enjoyed my iphone 8 plus the whole 5 years I had it (jailbroken enjoyed it much more).

I just bought iPhone 12 Pro Max and waiting for it to be delivered. And even after watching this video I am all for it. Its just a matter of opinions and what you need from your phone. I love the minimalist design of iPhones and iOS is far better operating system for me. And as long as phones have a stupid black hole or a top notch on top of them it really doesn't matter to me. I don't watch the left side of my screen and human eyes can adapt to filter out "irritations" so you don't even notice it. I had iPhone X as well and it didn't bother back then either.
Also a HUGE disappointment is that iPhone still does not allow to run two apps at the same time ( only two browsers could be run then again with third party app) which I do all the time and that’s the reason I’m returning my iPhone 12 Max Pro today. My Samsung Galaxy S7 had that feature and iPhone is still not up to par with a 5 year old Samsung phone. Such a shame!

I think the S21 Ultra is the most complete smartphone in the industry right now and Apple users should take a serious look! The Ultra has more pure abilities than any other smartphone. It is a master of customization and integration that makes it more usable for a user that can make them more efficient and productive for less money than the Apple ecosystem. Samsung Dex is a great example of how it extends functionality to computers, TV and monitors without buying additional hardware. iPhones need an Apple TV to do something similar.
They mastered the display. Forget resolution, nits and more symmetry than the notch. Always On Display provides more information to the user without having to touch their device. Split screen and floating screens allows a user to get more done without a laptop/desktop or tablet. We normally default to larger screens to multi-task as iPhone users because we simply can't. This isn't great for the user because if we want continuation of work with platform continuity, we have to invest $500-$1K for a iPad and $2K-$50K for a laptop/desktop. The Ultra being Android based gives users access to every smart TV, Windows PC and Android tablet on the planet without accessories. With a $20 dongle, every modern TV on the planet!
I hated Samsung after previous experiences with software w/ S8+. Now Samsung and Google strengthen their relationship, Samsung have addressed slow updates and lack of support after 2 years with a guaranteed 4 years and 4 generations of updates! So I gave them another shot and they killed it! If they included the charging brick and USB-C earbuds, it would be a perfect experience!

The only things iphones still beat samsung at is the better resale value and 4-5 years of os upgrades and support compared to only 2-3 years with samsung.
