I purchased this receiver recently in my opinion the speaker assignment is a little confusing. 1st off 7.2 isnt a setup option and height setup was a little confusing using the onscreen setup
hello, I also have this model, my problem is when I put a movie in DTS-X the height speakers are not activated and with Atmos yes, do you know how to activate it? or is the amplifier damaged. thanks and see you again.
Atmos is generally underwhelming in movies from Netflix and Amazon. It works allot better in gameplay on a PlayStation 4. Select FDR/FDL or TMR/TML for 5.1.2 Atmos And SBR/SBL for 7.1.0 You will need to rerun the calibration each time you change your speaker settings.

That height setup is confusing for me also. And 7.2 isnt even listed during setup
