Honorable mention to Robert Baratheon, Mark Addy did a phenomenal job playing the role and never gets the love he deserves. I think an underrated character is Theon Greyjoy. He actually shares the same reasons with jamie as to why he such a well written character. I've never understood why so many people hate him. Like, sure, he betrayed Robb, but he had his reasons and has been punished more than enough for that.
He genuinly is the shirttest character in the show. He is boring af but the writers keep making him better even tough he is just a cowerd cunt who should have died long ago
It's interesting that Jamie is a lot more popular with western audiences (where the concept of redemption/atonement is deeply embedded) than with Eastern audiences (where the concept of Karma is more deeply embedded). e.g. Jamie catching the sword with his golden hand passed by with no comment at all on Eastern GoT conversations but Tommen's death by fall got a huge amount of comment about direct Karmic payback on Jamie/Cercei for Bran's fall from the tower in season 1.
Tywin doesn't have the best military mind; Robb Stark devastates the Lannister forces with around a third of the man power and out manoeuvers Tywin constantly, he beats them in the field every time. Tywin has never won a battle with a weaker force. Tywin may be the best political mind in the story, (Varys, Tyrion and Littlefinger might challenge him though), and he is utterly ruthless. However, the only reason he came out on top of the war of the 5 kings is that Stannis and Renly were idiots, and Robb was foolish to break his marriage vow.
I agree, Margaery was amazing. Kind of surprised Cersei, Arya and Daenerys were the only three women on this list. Their relationship is the most edifying one I've seen in the show so far. His relationship with Cersei on the other hand is so dysfunctional it keeps him from growing as a person. It just goes to show how much your choice of relationships ultimately shapes the person that you become.

But I don't know if they still love each other anymore. they definitely did when they were first together, but after they met again when they were trying to get the Blackfish I think they lost that love and they just love each other as friends now...
amberdoe much as I love the Oath couple, I can't help but hold a place in my heart for Brienne and Tormund. I just love this idea of this huge powerful barbarian who spent his whole life in the wastes, now he's becoming more civilised, part of a real army, and then he meets this woman who's just as big and powerful as he is. All he knows is that the strong are to be respected, and so, he has found a woman who he can respect. Apologies, this whole comment was impromptu and rambly, but I think I got my point across
People underestimate Jaime but I do think that out of all the characters/players, he is the best in terms of his evolution and character dynamic. He is the embodiment of all that is good and evil in the human spirit. One of my favorite characters. And frankly, NCW is a very underrated actor. He is brilliant!
I love Jaime, I instantly fell for his character when he opened to Brienne in Harrenhall and finally told his version to the 'kingslayer' tale. When Brienne shouts "The kinslayer!!!" and he respond "Jaime, my name is Jaime". Brilliant!
Bronn should be up there, he's going from sellsword to the #2 guy in the Lannister army while staying true to himself. A lot of people think he's just a mercenary who would do anything for gold, but he has displayed more heart than a lot of people when he convinced Jamie to fight for Tyrion in jail. He's taking the right risks and has the skills to back them up. He sings, he reads, and he's the best city watch commander in the show. All of that can easily make him a main character in a different story, like a Han Solo in GoT world
Jaime was literally Prince Charming from shrek in the first few seasons. Just put a pic of him from S1 next to one of charming, and it's just animation and live action difference.
According to GRRM, the ice and fire are the Others and Dany with her dragons. Here's the quote: GRRM: "Well, of course, the two outlying [plots], the things that are going north of the Wall and Daenerys Targaryen on the other continent with her dragons, are of course the ice and fire of the title, “A Song of Ice and Fire.”
Andrey Anisimov I think it's between ice (white walkers the great other winter and death) and fire ( life rhollor dragons and dawn) this fits more into the idea of the great war and sam being the narrator Wich is being set up But he is being set up as one of the protagonist. Still AI t my fav of anything
Jaime not only is the best character in Game of Thrones (in my opinion), but is in the conversation for one of the greatest, if not THE greatest characters in t.v history alongside Walter White and Homer Simpson (yeah I said that). In my opinion always people.
Claire Sangster - in the KL Brothel. Showing those damsels the future. The 'helicopter'. Maybe even an 'Osprey'..killing time til he has to go to the wall and train with Brienne. And he's going to drop his axe and 'helicopter ' her too when she goes to attack. This is his best defense..he is a weak fighter. But that paenis, it is Apparently very Strong!
I think Sansa and Theon both have extremely strong arcs as well. It would’ve been nice to Olenna and also Joffrey was so interesting to watch. But still a good list either way
sansa and theon are two of my favourites, they’ve both been through so much trauma but their scenes together are so beautiful and touching they make me cry. also margaery and olenna. i love the love house tyrell have for one another, i think they’re a great parallel to the lannisters. both are proud, manipulative, and fiercely defensive, but the tyrell’s love for one another is constructive and supportive, whereas the lannister’s ‘love’ is destructive.
Arya, Tyrion, Hound, Olenna, Bronn would be my top five. Really like Dany, Tywin, Davos and Tormund would round out my top 10. Jon is nice and all but he's not nearly as fun to watch as the others.
1 Olena Tyrell / Absolute goddess. She seriously owned every single scene she was in. Cool and classy, funny and mouth-shutting . Oh what a woman!! 2 Margaery Tyrell / Beauty and brains. The absolute representative of conservative feminine power. She looked like a delicate sweetly venomous rose as she sneaked her way among the nasty beasts. A witch or a saint, an angel of fatality. She deserved a better ending. 3 Cersei Lannister / Every little grin on her face is a thunderstorm. So perfectly vulnerable badass. Lena’s brilliant performance gives so much gravitas to the whole thing. 4 Petyr Baelish / By far the best player of the game. A great twisted genius combined with an emotional broken side played sensationally by a flawlessly cast brit-fox . I just loved this cunt. Damn you, Bran-God! 5 Tormund Giantsbane / Wild, rough, cool, funny, seeeexyyyyy. I want more of him. 6 Sansa Stark / The slowest, smoothest and most charming character development of the show. I’m loving her more and more. 7 Oberyn Martell / Not much remained after his death but I remember I liked him very much when he was alive. Cool, spicy, playful, charming I can recall 8 Ramsay Bolton / Well, this was a charming villain. Nothing like Joffrey who was only punchable to death. This guy was sooooo hot in his madness. A really interesting chaotic psycho played by an adorable actor. 9 Tywin Lannister / Prestige. That’s the word. Glorious old man. 10 Lyanna Mormont / I love this girl. We’ve seen such a little of her but she’s adorable little badass. Maybe I’m also trying to replace Arya who went so disappointingly wrong after the “faceless -plot holes”. I also have much appreciation for Tyrion and Ned but something kept them out of my top 10. Maybe they are too mainstream for me :p Also Sandor, Davos and Brienne have slowly grown in me. Sam has his charm too. I don't really understand your enthusiasm about Jamie. Yes, his complexity is a good thing but strangely enough he ends up quite boring to me. I see the hype about Arya but I'm angry with the way they treated this character lately. Now I just hope that she is the waif instead of Arya. That would be some badass writing!
I agree Tywin though endlessly ruthless is so complex with how chooses to be so and what he does, but imagine him as a character losing everything that would be interesting to see his reaction to watching legacy and family and happiness fade
My favorite character in the show was and forever will be Bobby Baratheon. So quotable and so relatable and Mark Addy had one of the best performances out of any actor in the show.
I absolutely love you guys!!! Keep doing what your doing. For GOT content I come straight here now instead of Emergency Awesome and The Last Harpy. GJ.
Empowering those "nut jobs" was the only good thing she's done, and she did it unwittingly. These "nut jobs" are better than any of the high lords that cased so many common folk to die pointlessly.
Top 5 characters not in order: Jamie, varys, tyrion, Jon, and little finger/ arya. But I agree w Jamie being top 1 or 2. Fav character besides Jon snow
Mikołaj Więckowski Jon is a good person. That's why he's a bit boring but he's inspirational and lovable. But obviously the more complexity the more interesting a character
Maybe it's just me being fed up with lovable and nearly "holy" characters. Jon just does not suit me in GoT. In the books at least he sometimes has to be cruel to be good.
Mikołaj Więckowski right. But in television he's still a great a character. Since we're not in his head like in the books he just doesn't seem as complex but it's obvious that he's the hero of this world
Finally a wise man who has included the best game of thrones character as his top pick. I wished he would've survived or went out a better way, but it just wasn't meant to be. Either way, he'll live in my heart forever. Simply the best. #JL ❤️
Dany is my favourite, right from the start I loved her character and personality. She’s arguably the one that has gone through the most crap. I always look forward to her scenes both in the show and books.
There can't really be a "top 10 characters," for Game of Thrones, huh? To even include all of the best characters, the list needs to expand to at least 13. The names on this list are difficult to argue, and Varys, Theon and Brienne of Tarth aren't even on it! Someone is bound to complain, "how can you forget Brienne?" or something lol but who do you remove to make room for her, or anyone else? And look! I even forgot to mention Sansa hahaha see my point?!
16:33 I have never felt any sympathy for Cersei. I enjoyed every moment of her walk of shame. She's done so much worse to so many people. It irks me when people champion her. I respected the hell out of her when she blew up the sept, I enjoy and adore her as a villain but I've never felt sorry for her or felt that she was being punished too hard.
ARYA!! The purest, honest, most sincere heart, with strong principles. Even though she became badass assassin, it was because she had to learn to stay alive when she was only 9 and with no one to protect her, but jet, she never betrayed her heart and her moral principles. She is not greedy, she doesn't want the power, she doesn't speculate and manipulate, she is just her own.
1. Tywin Lannister x 2. Peter Baelish x 3. Jamie Lannister 4. Tyrion Lannister 5. Sandor Clegane 6. Bronn 7. Oberyn Martell x 8. Arya Stark 9. Lord Varys 10. Jon Snow
you can see how much of a heart the Hound has with his interactions with Sansa in the early seasons. that's why he sticks with Arya because he wanted to protect Sansa but she wouldn't come with him so he knew he could at least protect Arya.
Thomas Bixler loved him and his motive but he died an ass.... I mean the introduce the guy as a the most attractive, flamboyant person and the hottest couple but he is really there to seek justice... he wins monologues dies.... would have been in my top 10 if it wasn't for that
He's likely not the best character as far as the story goes because his arc isn't given enough time to develop, so there isn't any of the intrigue that we see in people like Jaime, Sansa, or the Hound, who just keep getting better over time. Oberyn was awesome right the way through his 6 or 7 episodes, but they dropped the ball heavily with Dorne's portrayal after him. He may have been the most awesome character, but it would be hard to argue that he had the best written character plot next to so many others.
you got to love how brilliant of a character cersei is but damn it's the first time i hear of people not flat out celebrating when the b*tch got her walk of shame
I used to hate Cersei, and then her children started dying and we see her flashback and find out that her greatest motivating drive was protecting her children - which is something that nobody could call evil. She is certainly power hungry, and she's done many evil things, but when Joffrey died I only saw a mother losing her son. Still not as painful as Catelyn though.
Matthew Heywood HBO’s Cersei is a military and political mastermind. Book Cersei ended up an utter mess as Queen Regent. I was disappointed that Martin decided to make her such a failure as queen, and I like HBO’s Cersei much better. Maybe she’ll get her groove back in TWOW.
But making her so competent on the show I feel was a mistake. Like making Jon this super badass swordsman. I feel like it's the showrunners falling in love with their characters. And for that very reason I thought casting Lena was a bad choice. Book Cersei is what she is supposed to be. Like the quintessential beautiful feminine Evil who is petty and vain. She is called Cersei cause it's a mythic name of Evil female characters from fiction. The show changed her into a more tomboyish woman in control closer to how Lena is. Again, fun to watch but unlike the character that GRRM created.
GOT has a spate of unbelievable characters but every list is incomplete without the greatest GOT character of all time - Sansa Stark. The fact that she's not anywhere on the list is shocking to say the least.
Hey don't feel bad, I also root for Littlefinger and he is my favorite character. If it was up to me, I'd have him end up on the throne. Also for all the reasons I love Littlefinger, I'm sorry but, I can't stand Jon Snow, no one that goodhearted or stupid should have risen to his position. But I also agree that Cersei is the best character in the show, though not my favorite.
what position? lord commander? that's not a very powerful position, he only had a bunch of outcast and criminals to compete with him. It's not unbelievable he got that job. Trump is stupid, he's president. People are stupid, that's why stupid leaders are realistic, look at robert baratheon. Look at all the starks, how did Ned managed to be the defacto king of the north for so long I will never know.
It's not in the books. If Robb and Ned could be "king of the north", I don't see why couldn't Jon, they're all pretty good hearted and stupid. Maybe that's just how the north pick their leaders, they like them dumb
That's very nice, this video is exclusively about the show. And first off I didn't want to be the annoying book reader but... Ned is never king of the north in the book or show. So far only Robb stark in the book and Robb and Jon in the show. Also Being king of the north is the second highest position you can be in the books besides king of the seven kingdoms, protector of the realm. But I do agree with you that the north likes their leaders dumb.
I'm so happy you guys put Arya as #2. I feel like a lot of people misunderstand her. To me, she's such a complex and interesting character. I also loved how you guys didn't just choose the 'good guys.' Totally agreed with everything tbh!
how do u guys not have over a million subs? U guys are awesome, spreading the word myself! Keep em coming, watched all your new stuff, now going back in time.
When three of my favorite characters were the bottom three on your list, I was already preparing an explicit tirade in my head. Then you went and provided solid justification for all the characters above them. Well done. But also, damn you for that. What do I do with all of this wrath, now? It's like, an inordinate amount of wrath. Welp... Guess I'll go troll reddit.
For me it’s more like 1. Jon Snow 2. Arya Stark 3. Davos Seaworth 4. Jaime Lannister 5. Tyrion Lannister 6. Bronn of the Blackwater 7. Cersei Lannister 8. The Hound 9. Brienne of Tarth 10. Jorah Mormont/ Tormound Giantsbane Yeah, no Dani... she’s in my top 20. I just love too many smaller characters...
BRILLIANT ... Thank you! Could you also consider doing some of the secondary characters like Bron, Brienne, Lysa, etc. It would be great to hear your POV. CYA.
I've reached that stage where I watch every video on this channel two or three times waiting for the next one. and they're out like every day now. I need Game of Thrones back soon before I explode
Sorry I got bored of Danny's story in season 1. When writers felt like maybe they should give her excitement then they made her be naked. Poor writing in my opinion.
That's why people can't be intellectually honest. They see a pretty blond and all rationality goes out the door. She is by far the worst character of show in my opinion. Clarke is a horrible actress. Dreadful!
Are u kidding me in season 1 I was bored with everyone but Daenerys. Daenerys is hands down the best character and the only reason I didn't quit watch got in season 1. Else all other characters in season 1 were shit. Jon Snow put me too sleep until I skipped his scenes then though he is now my 2nd fav. Much better now but Danerys will always be the best character on the show. Love Daenerys
@@chiraggupta2645 All other characters in season one were shit? Ned shakes his severed head at you and Tyrion challenges you to trial by combat. Or maybe you're a fangirl that doesn't bother to pay attention to anything and fell in love with Jon after his story linked up with Daenerys.
Hmm. I never felt bad for Cersei. She became an even worse person through the sparrow plot. I hate her hypocrisy when it comes to the "love for her children". Besides herself, she loves nothing but power but she's unable to admit that even to herself so she clings to the notion that her love for her children redeems any bad thing she may ever do. But she never actually considers the good of her children outside of herself. I mean great as a character, but all the way at the bottom of my list of favourites.
Jamie was my favorite character until the scene with him and Tyrion where he said he didn’t care about the people of kings landing, innocent or otherwise. Such a butchery of a beautifully developed and immensely complex character
You can't dislike a character after you've liked him so much just because of poor writing. Deep down inside you, you know he's not like that, but he was forced to be by those idiots D&D...
Nobody here calling for Sansa? She made one of the biggest transformation, going from a naive, innocent and passive character to a smart, manipulative and cunning character. She definately doesn't get the credit she deserves
Calling it.
#1: Hot Pie

She's Lena Headey
The best actor on the show.

true for joffrey as well

David Jones Robb outmaneuvers jaime not Tywin. Also it wasn't just Robb it was all the great northern lords and the blackfish.
Wasn't Robbs command but the might of the north and it's generals. Robb was a newb
Lyrical_Hamster 81 Robb was a military genious with the greatest generals in the 7 kingdoms.
I agree, but it wasnt just Robbs fault. GRRM said even without breaking the marriage vow, the Freys would have betrayed him.

Apologies, this whole comment was impromptu and rambly, but I think I got my point across
amberdoe thats deep on so many levels
She has more honour than that
Think of hows many times jaimes threatened/tried to kill babies
Jaime Lannister was already a good man capable of doing the right thing. He's just in a toxic relationship with a poisonous woman.
I was positive Jaime wasn't even going to be on this list. I'm glad he had the top spot
CMorrow2tv hes my top fav character
Well he is one of the better written characters
Exactly. I get called crazy when I say he's in my top 3 for favorite characters.
People underestimate Jaime but I do think that out of all the characters/players, he is the best in terms of his evolution and character dynamic. He is the embodiment of all that is good and evil in the human spirit. One of my favorite characters. And frankly, NCW is a very underrated actor. He is brilliant!
Especially his book version is my absolute favorite
I love Jaime, I instantly fell for his character when he opened to Brienne in Harrenhall and finally told his version to the 'kingslayer' tale. When Brienne shouts "The kinslayer!!!" and he respond "Jaime, my name is Jaime". Brilliant!
Literally just the right amount of cringe in that intro. Spectacularly done.
you sir deserve my like
Bronn should be up there, he's going from sellsword to the #2 guy in the Lannister army while staying true to himself. All of that can easily make him a main character in a different story, like a Han Solo in GoT world
Dubya W Yeah he is cool
Plus hes right up there with the Hound for some of the best one liners in the show :D
Bronn is one of the only characters that make the show great.. along with The Hound, Davos and Aria (assassin form) plus the Late Olenna and Oberin
Not enough layers to bronn compared to jamie, tyrion etc
Dubya W Bron truly deserved a spot but oh well
Jaime was literally Prince Charming from shrek in the first few seasons. Just put a pic of him from S1 next to one of charming, and it's just animation and live action difference.
Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but no Varys?
8:16 he's gonna' be *SO* mad by Season 7
Little finger outdoes him. Even verbally. They were equal in the Conversation until my night lil finga went CHAOS IS A LADDER.
I was like dammmmm
Characters more interesting, compelling & better acted than Daenerys include: Ned, Catelyn, Robb, Brann, Arya Stark, Jon Snow, Hodor, Meera Reed, The Hound, Cersei, Jaime, Tyrion, Tywin Lannister, King Joffrey, Jorah, Jeor, Lyanna Mormont, Stannis, Robert Baratheon, Olenna, Margery Tyrell, Oberyn, Doran Martell, Varys, Littlefinger, Ramsey, Roose Bolton, Walder Frey, Gendry, Melisandre, Davos Seaworth, Bronn, Syrio Forel, Yoren, Mance Rayder, Tormund Giantsbane, Karsi, Greatjon Umber, The Blackfish, Talisa, Bernice Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, Brienne of Tarth, Alliser Thorne, Karl Tanner, The High Sparrow, Arthur Dayne, Bloodraven, Brother Ray, Lady Crane, Maesters Amon, Pycell & Luwin, Ser Pounce
Movie Trialers
Even that whore version of her. +rep
Not Catelyn, Alliser Thorne or even Jeoffrey (who's acting is great but his characters is no where near as compelling).
EVERYONE, I'd say! Emilia Clarke is easily the worst actor on the show, hands down.
Why Knot_Now? Kit Harrington is worse
I don't think so. They both such pretty badly, but she is just absolutely horrid!
1. Jon Snow
2. Jamie
3. Tyrion
4. Ned
5. Arya
6. Dany
7. Bronn
8. The Hound
9. Brienne
10. Tywin
Jon Snow IS a protagonist. The whole name of the saga is a clever pun. The Song of Ice and Fire = The Son of Ice (Lyanna) and Fire (Rheagar).
According to GRRM, the ice and fire are the Others and Dany with her dragons. Here's the quote:
GRRM: "Well, of course, the two outlying [plots], the things that are going north of the Wall and Daenerys Targaryen on the other continent with her dragons, are of course the ice and fire of the title, “A Song of Ice and Fire.”
so? he is still boring as fuck, you know what he os going to do always and it adds 0 tansion to the plot as she has plot armor
KiLLPotatoeZ Unpredictability doesn't equal quality.
Andrey Anisimov I think it's between ice (white walkers the great other winter and death) and fire ( life rhollor dragons and dawn) this fits more into the idea of the great war and sam being the narrator Wich is being set up
But he is being set up as one of the protagonist. Still AI t my fav of anything
GRRM has also said that there are multiple meanings to the series title.
Chaos is a Laddah! is possibly one of my favourite quotes from this series. That whole scene is so perfect.
Jaime not only is the best character in Game of Thrones (in my opinion), but is in the conversation for one of the greatest, if not THE greatest characters in t.v history alongside Walter White and Homer Simpson (yeah I said that). In my opinion always people.
Oh my god I hate homer
Where is Podrick?
Podrick Fookin Payne
Claire Sangster - in the KL Brothel. Showing those damsels the future. The 'helicopter'. Maybe even an 'Osprey'..killing time til he has to go to the wall and train with Brienne. And he's going to drop his axe and 'helicopter ' her too when she goes to attack. This is his best defense..he is a weak fighter. But that paenis, it is Apparently very Strong!
Claire Sangster he is no2 after hot pie
POD!
*magic cock
I've always had all four main Lannisters in my top 10 list, so happy to see they all made it on this one
1. Jon 2. Tyrion 3. Jaime 4. The Hound 5. Bran 6. Arya 7-10. Dead Starks, take your pick.
House Claiborne this is right on
Rickon Stark #7 oh yeeeeaaaaah
Tyrion in season 1-4 is Definitely number one.
Best ACTORS in this show: Tywin, Tyrion, Cersei, Ramsay, Joffrey, Ned, The Hound, Lady Olena, Little Finger, Brienne, Jamie, Daavos
Dammit and BRON!!
Alfie Allens performance has easily been in the top 3 performances of any character. Alfie, Peter and Charles had the best performances
Lydia Peters Kit as Jon as well
Tywin n Theon have the best performances IMO... and Hound having hands down the best delivery
Lydia Peters Catlyn too
Arya, Tyrion, Hound, Olenna, Bronn would be my top five. Really like Dany, Tywin, Davos and Tormund would round out my top 10. Jon is nice and all but he's not nearly as fun to watch as the others.
Senior Woodz your comment only got 2 likes which is sad because i'm totally agree with you
Jon is boring but he is the most important character.
I love this channel! Happy to see more videos coming out! Thanks!
Cool, spicy, playful, charming I can recall
8 Ramsay Bolton / Well, this was a charming villain.
Maybe they are too mainstream for me :p
Also Sandor, Davos and Brienne have slowly grown in me.
1) Tywin
2) Ned
3) Tyrion
4) Jaime
5) Jon
6) Arya
7) Cersei
8) Daenarys
9) Stannis
10) Sandor
Brianne
I agree Tywin though endlessly ruthless is so complex with how chooses to be so and what he does, but imagine him as a character losing everything that would be interesting to see his reaction to watching legacy and family and happiness fade
My favorite character in the show was and forever will be Bobby Baratheon. So quotable and so relatable and Mark Addy had one of the best performances out of any actor in the show.
'Jon was not getting stabbed in the back'
Was literally murdered by fellow Night's Watch
I absolutely love you guys!!! Keep doing what your doing. For GOT content I come straight here now instead of Emergency Awesome and The Last Harpy.
GJ.
+Ronald Harper Ditto! ☺
Ronald Harper I think Alt Shift X is great too.
Jorah and Bronn are my favorite supporting characters (would add hound, but he's more a main character i think)
Davos, The Hound, and Tormund are my favorite supporting characters. Bronn and Brienne are next
can you guys do a top 10 episodes and top 10 moments
1. Arya
2. Tywin
3. Cercei
4. Davos
5. Daenerys (mostly as khaleesi)
6. Sansa
7. Brienne
8. The hound
9. Missandei
10. Tyrion
for me Jon is the most important character in this show
Jawad Jazz he is the center of every characters
most important =/= best character
Jawad Jazz but hes boringly formulatic
daenerys is the most important
Jawad Jazz Ah yes, because he stole the story arc of Stannis and Young Griff.
My personal top 10:
1. Theon Greyjoy
2. Jaime Lannister
3. Sansa Stark
4. Robb Stark
5. Ramsay Bolton
6. Tyrion Lannister
7. Asha Greyjoy
8. Jon Snow
9. Cersei Lannister
10. Roose Bolton
so Jamie received the #1 spot based on his redemption arc through 6 seasons. Where would you rank him now?
1.Arya
2. Tyrion
3. Jon
4. Baelish
6. Tywin
7. The Hound
8. Bronn
9. Varys
10. Olyenna
Arya since bravos became shit
Worst list I've ever seen
1. Tyrion
2. Arya
3. Jaime
4. Varys
5. Baelish
6. The Hound
7. Cersei
8. Tywin
9. Jon
10. Daenerys
No pity for Cersei even during the walk, which was a result of her empowering those nut jobs to begin with.
and she did not even atone for anything as she admited next to nothing
In the books she is responsible for many side characters dying. She isn’t a badass. She’s Bad, period.
Empowering those "nut jobs" was the only good thing she's done, and she did it unwittingly. These "nut jobs" are better than any of the high lords that cased so many common folk to die pointlessly.
Tormund is by far my favorite. Fight me
You guys manage to keep it casual and humorous while bringing up fascinating insights from GOT. These videos really stick em with the pointy end.
Top 5 characters not in order: Jamie, varys, tyrion, Jon, and little finger/ arya. But I agree w Jamie being top 1 or 2. Fav character besides Jon snow
Well, honestly I dislike Jon more and more with every season. He gets simpler and simpler. Kind of boring.
Since we're not in his head like in the books he just doesn't seem as complex but it's obvious that he's the hero of this world
For sure. Just heroes do not fit in GoT world for me.
That Jaime part about his arc being so well done didn't age well.
Oh hell yea. Nerd soup bustin out videos all week!!
1. Daenerys 2. Arya 3. Cersei probably my top 3. Honorable mentions : The Hound and Jon Snow
Yeah I agree Daenerys is best by far but don't like Arya though. Other good characters : (Margery/Rob/Jamie/Cerci/Jon/Tyrion)
@@chiraggupta2645 Sansa too
Finally a wise man who has included the best game of thrones character as his top pick.
I respected the hell out of her when she blew up the sept, I enjoy and adore her as a villain but I've never felt sorry for her or felt that she was being punished too hard.
this list is so good. accept i would of swapped arya and cersei. but still bloody hell its so accurate almost exactly my top 10
1. Tywin Lannister x
2. Peter Baelish x
3. Jamie Lannister
4. Tyrion Lannister
5. Sandor Clegane
6. Bronn
7. Oberyn Martell x
8. Arya Stark
9. Lord Varys
10. Jon Snow
This was actually really good guys! I'm getting cranky because season 7 is so close, yet so far. This video calmed me. Thank you.
7.16.17 come now!
you can see how much of a heart the Hound has with his interactions with Sansa in the early seasons. that's why he sticks with Arya because he wanted to protect Sansa but she wouldn't come with him so he knew he could at least protect Arya.
Jaime Lannister looks like Prince Charming from Shrek 2
Yes he does but with more definition .
I disagree, Dany is kinda boring
Ewan Ballantyne Jon is more boring
Nope! Dany takes the #1 spot. Horrible actress. The worst!
Nope, she is by far thebest and most interesting character. I dont think I would have watched got had it not be for her scenes to look forward to.
She is so boring, agreed.
It is sort of confusing cause a lot has happened to Dany that you have to put her in the conversation but she's a bore with a crap personality
Apologies for what you're about to see. I love Ser Davos!
No Oberyn? he's the best
1.Jaime Lannister
2.Cercei Lannister
3.Jon Snow
4.Tyrion Lannister
5.Littlefinger
6Theon Greyjoy
7.The Hound
8.Theon Greyjoy
9.Tywin Lannister
10.Ned Stark
Yeah its hard to pick between Jaime and Cersei for best overall characters.
Well pretty much all the main Lannister characters are so complex.
O think it's more between Jaime and Tyrion
Thank you guys for helping us get through this long year (night) waiting for the show to start again. God bless you and yours.
Never felt bad for Cersei, am I the only one
I'm sure there are others who agree with you, but there are many who don't. Cersei rocks!
Cersei is awesome.
I hate Cersei the most in this show (well I hate her son that died much more) but she is well made character. She is good character.
you got to love how brilliant of a character cersei is but damn it's the first time i hear of people not flat out celebrating when the b*tch got her walk of shame
Your channel is the only thing that is keeping me together as we wait for the next season!
Loving these vids and all the Lannister love!! ❤️
in the show the lena heady is killing it. in the books I cant stand cersei
I love show Cersei too. I don't care what anyone says! She's one of the best. Now maybe that's because of Lena Heady's brilliant acting, but so be it.
Alchemist1330 jeez so people are stupid for being nice fuck humanity
what position? lord commander? that's not a very powerful position, he only had a bunch of outcast and criminals to compete with him. It's not unbelievable he got that job. Trump is stupid, he's president. People are stupid, that's why stupid leaders are realistic, look at robert baratheon. Look at all the starks, how did Ned managed to be the defacto king of the north for so long I will never know.
Jon snow is King of the North. It's a pretty high position.
Top 10 in the show: Cersei, Tyrion, Tywin, Jaime, Sansa, Theon, Varys, Petyr, Davos, Robert
My top 10 characters are :
10: Arya Stark
9: Sansa Stark
8: Mittelfinger
7: Magaery tyrell
6: jaime Lannister
5: Tyrion Lannister
4: Daenarys Stormborn taygaeron
3: Jon Snow
2: Jorah Mormont
1: Theon Greyjoy
Doran Martell is one best characher but they cut his storyline too short also missed Arrainne Martell and Quentyn Martell.
How is it possible that I agree with you guys on literally everything?? Great videos!
oh no, I take that back. No Sansa on the list??
your analysis of Jamie is so spot on
finally a top that doesnt put the all boring jon the number 1...
KiLLPotatoeZ He's still in the top 10 so there are still some things to be fixed
jon is the worst character in tv history
I love you nerd soup Justice grind you guys are the best talk show I've ever been around or listen to keep the good work you're doing great
I'm so happy you guys put Arya as #2.
For me it’s more like
1. Jon Snow
2. Arya Stark
3. Davos Seaworth
4. Jaime Lannister
5. Tyrion Lannister
6. Bronn of the Blackwater
7. Cersei Lannister
8. The Hound
9. Brienne of Tarth
10. Jorah Mormont/ Tormound Giantsbane
Yeah, no Dani... she’s in my top 20. I just love too many smaller characters...
Your lord is evil! Omg. 🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻🤴🏻
100% agree with this list!
My list:
10: Eddard "Ned" Stark
9: Tywin Lannister
8: Brienne of Tarth
7: Sandor "The Hound" Clegane
6: Cersei Lannister
5: Daenarys Targaryen
4: Jaime Lannister
3: Arya Stark
2: Jon Snow
1: Tyrion Lannister
You misspelled stannis
This channel is a gem honestly
I just love this channel, thanx for making me laugh
BRILLIANT ... Thank you! Could you also consider doing some of the secondary characters like Bron, Brienne, Lysa, etc. It would be great to hear your POV. CYA.
Jon Snow is the best character, to say otherwise is treason. :)
he is a fucking boring clueless tit
USMC7100 Tyrion.
He was such a boring time
@@moritlh you’re a little late. However, now that everything is done and the show turned to shit, they ruined us character.
She's better in the books, as are most things.
Good for you. This is your opinion.
Binging your vids the last couple days, killing it guys I always laugh at your funny banter and love your veiws and opinions, keep it up!
1. Jaime Lannister
2. Ser Davos
3. Sansa Stark
4. Jon Snow
5. Ned
6. Littlefinger
7. Robert Baratheon
8. Greyworm
9. Margaery Tyrell
10. Olenna Tyrell
If your list had Tyrion at number 4 instead of Jon, you would've instantly became my GoT soulmate.
Not - That’s awesome!
I don't know how I found this channel, but I love it. Keep it up.
Yeah, she´s a victimist and a lying bitch.
That's what's make her interesting I guess. She's a great antagonist in the show.
@Nerd Soup ive been here since 12k keep posting great GOT content
Jamie was my favorite character until the scene with him and Tyrion where he said he didn’t care about the people of kings landing, innocent or otherwise. Such a butchery of a beautifully developed and immensely complex character
You can't dislike a character after you've liked him so much just because of poor writing. Deep down inside you, you know he's not like that, but he was forced to be by those idiots D&D...
@@Victor-bk4cw that's true, Jamie is still my favourite character, I just ignore the trains wreck which was season 8
Nobody here calling for Sansa? She made one of the biggest transformation, going from a naive, innocent and passive character to a smart, manipulative and cunning character. She definately doesn't get the credit she deserves
