      I’m sure there are few others out there but thanks 😁 ! It’s gratifying to know that people are enjoying them.

    Just hit up Foxx Rocks due to this vid and hit the left most roll you show about half thru. Those other lines are no joke. Props to you man for making them look easy. Something for me to build up to.

      Nice work on hitting that left line! That's what I think is so much fun about that trail and Piedmont in general is that there is a good progression of lines to work through. You can't help but become a better rider when you are riding there.

    You made those Foxx Rocks look too easy. Rolling up on that section blew me away.

      Ha! That roll in on the lookers left is totally in your wheelhouse. Tough to push it when you’re riding solo.

    Watching this after I rode there. Cool to see another perspective. Those slabs on Fox Rocks are so fun and some of the gnarliest I have ever ridden. I started in the Hutchinson Road Parking lot so I rode these trails backward from the way you did. I still got to hit all the good drops though. It would have been nice to have a guide lol.

      I've ridden those trails both directions and I'm not sure one is better than the other, both are pretty fun.

      Kristofer Yahner I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. After watching your video though, it made me realize I missed some good stuff. I didn’t do lower burner at all.

      @@EricF1984 There's a ton of fun trails in that area. Did you check out BOB or DM? Two of my favorites. I'm not even sure that I've ridden everything that's there.

      Kristofer Yahner I remember watching some of your videos before I went and wanting to hit those 2 specifically. I ended up missing them and went too far west. Sooo much good stuff in there.

    I call it Foxxy Rocks too. At this point, that's just what it's called. Did they dial down the drop-in to the Admiral Rockbar section along Skyline Pkwy? I remember it being steeper and closer to that cliff wall on the left. I also remember it being more of a dropoff to the right. I guess it could be gopro effect. I haven't ridden Rockbar in 6 years at least.

    • @KrisYahner
      @KrisYahner  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s decided then - Foxxy Rocks! I rode Admiral Rockbar for the first time about 4 years ago and it’s unchanged since then, but I don’t know what it was like before that

      @@KrisYahner Maybe so, but you're certainly better at it than I am. I'm finally getting a little better at Piedmont. I've taken so many ass kickings and mechanicals there. Little by little.

      Thanks! As long as people keep watching them, I'll keep making them. Might be a long trip for you but if you find yourself in Minnesota, you can't go wrong with the Piedmont trails in Duluth.

    That split screen was fuuuuun! (edit: 'merged screen'? Doppel Kris anyway) It's always tough to push yourself to have fun in the humidity. Last year, I was surprised to find a day hot enough to punish me in Duluth.

    • @KrisYahner
      @KrisYahner  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks BPS! I was thinking about that spot before I got up there, trying to figure out how to show all the lines without it getting too repetitive.

  • @BrianVaughn
    @BrianVaughn 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I kind of make it a rule I bring the goPro or the tripod. Probably why you see very little 3rd person stuff in my videos. If I bring the tripod it starts feeling more like a photo shoot than a mountain bike ride.

    • @KrisYahner
      @KrisYahner  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a bad rule. The thing I like about bringing the tripod is that it gives me an excuse to stop and session and really learn sections of trail. For the most part I don't mind riding with it, but I was struggling that day.
